The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of tDCS applied at the anodic left DLPFC of patients with resistant depression compared to patients treated with conventional therapy. The tDCS is used in add-on drug treatment with antidepressants of reference in resistant depression.

To determine whether individuals who suffer from depression and obesity are able to lose weight and show improvements in mood and cardiovascular disease risk factors following 20 weeks of a combined treatment of cognitive-behavior therapy for depression and behavior modification for weight loss. Participants will be assigned to one of three treatments: 1) cognitive-behavior therapy for the treatment of depression combined with an alternative approach to weight loss, 2) a weight loss intervention combined with a depression support and education , or 3) cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression combined with a weight loss intervention.

The Stress Resilience Training System (SRTS) program is a stress reduction and resilience building system that blends cognitive training to anticipate the effects of stress with advanced biofeedback to mitigate stress effects and aftereffects, using a game-based learning framework on an iPad platform. The proposed study will evaluate the effectiveness of the SRTS program at reducing perceived stress, PTSD symptoms, depression, anxiety, sleep quality, coping, attrition and class/operational performance among United States Navy service members.
