The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is \<100 individuals.
NCT01181024
This randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, 3 part study will assess the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of RO5303253 in healthy volunteers and patients with chronic hepatitis C genotype 1. In Part A, cohorts of healthy volunteers will be randomized to receive single ascending doses of RO5303253 or placebo. In Part 2, healthy volunteers will receive a single dose of RO5303253 or placebo in a cross-over design (with a washout period of at least 7 days) to assess food effects on pharmacokinetics. In Part 3, patients with chronic hepatitis C will be randomized ro receive either RO5303253 or placebo for 5 days.
NCT00475072
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of PEGASYS plus ribavirin in male patients with hemophilia A and chronic hepatitis C. All patients will receive PEGASYS 180 micrograms s.c. weekly plus ribavirin 1000-1200mg p.o. daily (depending on body weight) for 48 weeks. Following treatment there will be a 24 week period of treatment-free follow-up. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is \<100 individuals.

NCT02581033
Evaluation of the rate of sustained virological response among HBeAg-negativechronic hepatitis B patients who discontinue long-term NA therapy. During this study participants will cease their prescribed medications, this will occur with immediate effect once enrolled into the study. The duration of cessation will be indefinite, unless clinically indicated for NA therapy re-start. Participants will be monitored as per protocol following cessation, monitoring will be by clinic visit and through blood test to monitor virological response. Clinical visits will be at the intervals of week 2, week, 4, week 8, week 12, week 18, following this they will be every 3 months out to 2 years when the participant will have completed the trial. Once the participant has completed the trial they will not commence again, the aim is for an indefinite cessation of NA therapy.

NCT00338351
Three dose primary vaccination study of reactogenicity and immunogenicity in healthy infants between 6-12 weeks of age at the time of the first vaccination against Streptococcus pneumoniae.
NCT01464008
The efficacy of combination antiviral therapy for chronic hepatitis C is influenced by many factors. Important patient-specific factors include, age, gender, race, body weight. Important virus-specific factors include HCV genotype and serum HCV RNA level. Finally, important treatment-related factors include the type of interferon, dose of ribavirin and the duration and adherence to treatment. Despite the importance of patient- and virus-specific factors, the most important indicator of treatment success is a rapid, profound and sustained decrease in serum HCV RNA levels after the start of treatment. The on-treatment virological response can thus be used to predict the probability that a given patient will achieve an SVR if they remain on therapy. It can also be used to individualize the duration of treatment. In this study, treatment for patients with chronic hepatitis C was individualized on the basis of clinical characteristics and the on-treatment virological response. The aim was to investigate the usefulness of undetectable HCV RNA levels at week 4 (RVR) and 12 in tailoring the duration of treatment and predicting SVR in Chinese patients with chronic hepatitis C.
