Many women at high risk for acquiring HIV infection are not aware of preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP), an efficacious, self-administered, woman-controlled, HIV prevention product. The objective of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of a theory-based intervention to promote PrEP uptake and adherence in a pilot trial among 80 women. The study will also measure intention to use PrEP and actual initiation of PrEP use. The investigators hypothesize that the intervention will be acceptable and feasible and that the intervention group will report higher levels of PrEP uptake, intention to use and adhere to PrEP, and other variables regarding PrEP uptake, comparing baseline, post-intervention and 3 month follow-up assessments.

This study seeks to investigate the effects of an online single-session intervention on college student mental health and well-being. Undergraduate students from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard will be randomized to a 30-minute single-session intervention or a study skills control group. Students' depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, positive and negative affect, and subjective well-being will be assessed up to 12 weeks post-intervention.

This is an observational study of medical marijuana manufactured and dispensed by Ilera and given as standard treatment for a variety of approved serious medical conditions as defined by individual state law. All patients who are receiving one of the four formulations (Dream, Soothe, Shine and Ease) of medical marijuana will be provided a study flyer and asked to contact the study team via phone or email. Once the study team confirms eligibility, the study team will meet the subject face-to-face most likely at their dispensary (or other mutually agreeable location) and obtain informed consent, and assent when appropriate. Initial baseline demographic information, medical history and medication inventory will be completed. Also, since it is possible that the Investigators will enroll subjects across the region, Investigators anticipate the need to seek consent over the phone for many patients. This will be done via Skype, Go to Meeting, Facetime or similar platforms so that the Investigators can have a face to face interaction with the potential subjects. Regardless of where this discussion takes place (i.e., in person or via the web), all reasonable safeguards to ensure patient privacy will be taken. Patients or their legally authorized representative (LAR) will be given sufficient (i.e., up to several hours/days) to make a decision to participate in this study. Study staff will fax or email the consent form for their signature and no study procedures will begin until the signed consent form is received by the study team. The subjects or their LARs will be instructed on obtaining the blood samples. Blood draws will be completed in the subjects' home after one of their standard doses is taken.

It is not known whether providing personalized information is more effective than basic information in helping patients make decisions about clinical trials. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying personalized information to see how well it works compared with basic information in helping patients make decisions about participating in a clinical trial.

This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of ocrelizumab in participants with RRMS who have had a suboptimal response to an adequate course of DMT. Participants will receive ocrelizumab as an initial dose of two 300-milligrams (mg) intravenous (IV) infusions (600 mg total) separated by 14 days followed by one 600-mg IV infusion for a maximum of 4 doses (up to 96 weeks). Anticipated time on study treatment is 96 weeks.

Patients with medically inoperable primary soft tissue lesion of the lung will have transbronchial microwave ablation performed via transbronchial approach by an interventional pulmonologist or thoracic surgeon using CT imaging. Prior to the ablation procedure, the treating physician will use endobronchial ultrasound to confirm staging. Patients will be followed for one year following the ablation procedure for efficacy and safety.

This is a prospective, multi-center study of patients with intracranial or peripheral aneurysms who are treated by the PC 400 System. The primary objective is to gather post market data on the Penumbra Coil 400 (PC 400) System in the acute treatment of intracranial and peripheral aneurysms. Approximately 2,000 patients with intracranial or peripheral aneurysms treated by the PC 400 System at up to 100 centers will be enrolled. Data for each patient are collected up to discharge or 3 days post-procedure, whichever occurs sooner. Long term follow-up to one year will be conducted in accordance to the standard of care at each participating hospital.

The purpose of this study is to conduct a two-arm effectiveness trial in Cape Town, South Africa of a Xhosa-adapted, nurse-delivered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) treatment for depression and adherence, integrated into the HIV care setting in patients with HIV who did not achieve viral suppression from first-line treatment. The CBT treatment will be compared to enhanced usual care (Enhanced Treatment As Usual - ETAU) on study endpoints (as described in study endpoints section below).

This is a phase I/II, open-label, multicenter study of AUY922 administered intravenously in patients with advanced solid malignancies to determine the maximum tolerated dose. Phase II expansion arms will investigate efficacy in patients with either HER2 positive or ER positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Additional patients with advanced solid malignancies will also be investigated in a separate expansion arm. Safety, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics will be assessed.

Kinases are a group of proteins that are important in how cancer cells grow. HER2 is a kind of kinase. This study looks at a new approach to identifying kinases, which may help target therapy more precisely. LCCC1214 is a randomized, multiarm, multicenter, open-label window trial designed to explore the kinome response in Stage I-IV HER2 positive (HER2+) breast cancer patients scheduled to undergo definitive surgery (either lumpectomy, mastectomy or surgical resection of oligometastatic disease). Patients will initiate dosing with either a single HER2-directed agent or a combination of two HER2-directed agents, one week prior to surgery. Forty patients will be randomized to one of four study groups: A) single dose trastuzumab; B) single dose pertuzumab; C) combination single dose trastuzumab plus single dose pertuzumab; or D) combination single dose trastuzumab plus lapatinib daily for 7 days. Pre- and post- dosing tissue will be analyzed for kinome response and resistant signatures. The initiation of study drug will be defined by the surgical schedule; there will be no delays in standard treatment for the purposes of this study.

The main objectives of this study are: i) To design an educational tool to train physicians in overcome cognitive factors associated with therapeutic inertia. ii) To determine the feasibility and efficacy of an educational tool to overcome therapeutic inertia among neurologists caring for MS patients iii) identify the best strategy to disseminate an educational program to train physicians taking into account regional and practice variations. iv) To explore whether multiple sclerosis (MS) patients' risk category influence the incidence of therapeutic inertia in neurologists that may require a segmentation strategy in medical education. v) To assess how participants handle uncertainty when making treatment decisions by measuring pupil variation from baseline (Canadian study). vi) To evaluate the effect of the TLS on TI by assessing differences pupil variability between the intervention and control groups (Canadian study). A multicenter, randomized, study including an educational intervention (applying the traffic light system) to overcome therapeutic inertia in MS care.
