This is an open-label psilocybin-assisted therapy study that will examine the safety and tolerability of psilocybin-assisted therapy in the offspring of genocide survivors with mood and anxiety disorders. The study will also investigate the efficacy of psilocybin-assisted therapy in reducing symptoms such as depression, anxiety and stress, as well as changes to the psychological effects of parental exposure to genocide, and changes to psychological resilience.

Dose-finding study to compare intranasal midazolam doses of 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 mg/kg in children undergoing laceration repair to achieve the following aims: Specific Aim #1: To determine the most effective dose of intranasal midazolam for producing adequate sedation state associated with each dose. Specific Aim #2: To determine the time to recovery and describe the adverse events associated with each dose.

This study aims to examine the scientific mechanisms of whole-body hyperthermia (WBH), a novel, rapidly acting, single session antidepressant and anxiolytic therapy. It also aims to determine its feasibility and acceptability in women with postpartum depression (PPD). The study will enroll four cohorts of participants: healthy postpartum controls; postpartum women with PPD; healthy adult controls; and adults with major depressive disorder or anxiety disorders in a longitudinal protocol.
