This is a Phase Ib, open-label, two-stage study with two active regimens in each stage designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of combination treatment with atezolizumab, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab (with and without docetaxel) or atezolizumab and trastuzumab emtansine in participants with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) positive metastatic breast cancer (MBC) and locally advanced early breast cancer (EBC), and atezolizumab with doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide in HER2-negative breast cancer.

In order to examine the current endotracheal intubation practice among critically ill patients, a prospective observational multicenter study of adult critically ill patients was conducted from July 2015 to January 2017 involving 20 ICUs. In this study, the primary aim was to describe, through a prospective observational multicenter study, the current intubation practice of adult critically ill patients undergoing endotracheal intubations with a focus on deriving and validating a prediction model for both immediate airway and hemodynamic complications.

The aims of this trial are to demonstrate the consistency of three manufacturing lots of GSK Biologicals' DTaP-IPV candidate vaccine in terms of immunogenicity and to evaluate the non-inferiority of GSK Biologicals' DTaP-IPV vaccine with respect to immunogenicity and safety compared to the control vaccines (separate injections of GSK Biologicals' DTaP vaccine \[Infanrix\] and Aventis Pasteur's IPV vaccine \[IPOL\]) when administered as a 5th dose of DTaP and a 4th dose of inactivated poliovirus vaccine in subjects 4 to 6 years of age. Vaccines will be co-administered with the second dose of M-M-RII, which is recommended at this age. Concomitant administration of a US-licensed influenza vaccine will be allowed according to seasonal availability of vaccine and at the discretion of the investigator.

Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs) provide a shock or pacing therapy to bring back a normal heart beat when a patient experiences a dangerous abnormal heart rhythm such as ventricular tachycardia (VT). ICDs are very successful in bringing back a normal heart beat when VT occurs, but they do not prevent further dangerous heart rhythms from occurring. This study is designed to determine the best way to manage patients who have an ICD and who continue to have episodes of VT. There are two methods for treatment the VT: 1) Ablation, and 2) Medication. An ablation procedure involves placing a flexible catheter (insulated wire) in the groin area and threading it into the heart. After the doctor has located the affected area responsible for the VT, radiofrequency energy is delivered by the power generator through the catheter to the inside of the heart. The radiofrequency energy ablates (burns) a small area of the heart tissue thought to cause the VT. A medication called Amiodarone is an "anti-arrhythmic" prescribed to prevent abnormal heart rhythms from recurring. The purpose of this study is to compare these two different methods for treating VT. Treatment with ablation and amiodarone are both considered the standard of care for patients with VT but they have not been compared directly in a study like this before.

This is a Phase Ib, open-label study of single and repeat doses of obinutuzumab administered as intravenous (IV) infusion in adults with end stage renal disease (ESRD). Participants will be enrolled into two cohorts receiving either one (Cohort 1) or two or more (Cohort 2) obinutuzumab infusions. Both cohorts will receive standard pretreatments to reduce the risk of infusion-related reactions (IRRs). Desensitization Period: In Cohort 1, participants will receive single dose obinutuzumab IV infusion on Day 1. Following review of Cohort 1 aggregated safety data up to 4 weeks post dose for the last participant of Cohort 1, Cohort 2 will be allowed to proceed. In Cohort 2, participants will receive obinutuzumab IV infusion on Days 1 and 15. Transplantation Period: Participants who qualify for transplantation and receive a compatible kidney offer after inclusion in Cohort 1 or Cohort 2 will receive two additional infusions (one at the time of transplantation and second at Week 24 post-transplantation) of obinutuzumab. Assessment of the safety and tolerability of the obinutuzumab regimen will be conducted at Week 24 of the desensitization phase and at Week 28 post-transplantation. All participants will be monitored for a minimum of 12 months following the last obinutuzumab infusion.

Half of participants will receive tele-monitoring and health coaching, while the other half will receive standard health care provided by their chosen provider.

The main purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of Obeticholic Acid when used in patients with moderately severe alcoholic hepatitis. The researchers suspect that individuals with alcoholic hepatitis have certain abnormalities in how their body handles bile acids (a product made by the liver on a daily basis) produced by the liver. Obeticholic acid has been shown to affect bile acid abnormalities and thus it is possible that obeticholic acid may improve liver condition in individuals with alcoholic hepatitis.

With this research, the investigators hope to learn if cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) works in people who have both PTSD and problems with drugs or alcohol. In the past, people who had problems with drugs and alcohol were not given treatment for their PTSD. It was believed that PTSD treatment would get in the way of their drug and alcohol treatment. Now the investigators believe that the PTSD symptoms may make it harder to avoid using drugs and alcohol, so the investigators want to see if people can get treatment for both problems at the same time. One hundred-sixty Veterans from 3 sites who have both PTSD and substance use disorders will be in the study. In order to know if the PTSD treatment is helpful, half of the Veterans in this study will receive PTSD treatment and half will continue to get their usual mental health and/or substance abuse treatment. Who gets which treatment will be decided by a random process. The investigators will then compare the 2 groups to see if there are differences in their PTSD symptoms.

Rebound phenomenon will be assessed for subjects who have permanently withdrawn from further belimumab treatment.

Morphine is the opioid used to treat pain after surgery. Acetaminophen (called APAP) can reduce the amount of opioids needed for this. The problem is that morphine slows down digestion. That can delay pain relief from APAP pills. It can even change what the body does to the drug \[pharmacokinetics (PK)\]. Some doctors have started using intravenous (IV) APAP with morphine, instead of the pills. This study will measure the PK of APAP pills and IV when used with morphine in healthy volunteers. IV APAP will likely be more effective and cause fewer side effects when used with morphine to treat pain after surgery.

This phase II trial studies how well tacrolimus and mycophenolate mofetil works in preventing graft-versus-host disease in patients who have undergone total-body irradiation (TBI) with or without fludarabine phosphate followed by donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant for hematologic cancer. Giving low doses of chemotherapy, such as fludarabine phosphate, and TBI before a donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It also stops the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. The donated stem cells may replace the patient's immune system and help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can also make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving tacrolimus and mycophenolate mofetil after the transplant may stop this from happening.

This phase I/II trial studies how well autologous stem cell transplant followed by donor stem cell transplant works in treating patients with lymphoma that has returned or does not respond to treatment. Peripheral blood stem cell transplant using stem cells from the patient or a donor may be able to replace immune cells that were destroyed by chemotherapy used to kill cancer cells. The donated stem cells may also help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect).
