NCT03721172
This is a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of apremilast (CC-10004) in subjects with mild to moderate plaque psoriasis. Approximately 574 subjects with mild to moderate plaque psoriasis will be randomized 1:1 to receive either apremilast 30 mg BID or placebo for the first 16 weeks.
NCT03062540
This is a 12-week, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, fixed-dose study that will investigate the efficacy and safety of 5.6 mg TNX-102 SL (2 x 2.8 mg tablets)-a sublingual formulation of cyclobenzaprine. Following successful screening and randomization, eligible patients will have a telephonic visit at week 2 and then return regularly to the study clinic for monthly visits for assessments of efficacy and safety.
NCT03371940
Program ACTIVE II is a depression treatment study sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, Indiana University, Ohio University and West Virginia University. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of two forms of treatment for depression for adults with type 2 diabetes: talk therapy (counseling) and exercise. Both of these forms of treatment have been proven to be effective in helping people with depression alone. In this study, the investigators will test to see if both of these approaches may be more effective in helping people live depression-free compared to talk therapy, exercise or usual care alone.
NCT03896945
This study will be conducted to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of AVP-786, as compared with placebo, for the treatment of negative symptoms of schizophrenia.
NCT05096494
This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group, multicenter study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of SP-103 in subjects with moderate to severe acute lower back pain.
NCT04766086
This phase 2B, placebo-controlled, randomized, observer-blinded trial will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of the investigational multivalent group B streptococcus vaccine administered concomitantly with Tdap in healthy nonpregnant women 18 through 49 years of age.
NCT03041467
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of the IN.PACT™ AV Access Drug Coated Balloon (DCB) compared to percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) for treatment of subjects presenting with de novo or non-stented restenotic obstructive lesion of native arteriovenous dialysis fistulae (AVF) in the upper extremity.
NCT04631185
This study is a prospective, multi-institutional, noninferiority, randomized control trial that will compare the efficacy of two antibiotic treatments in preventing SSI in patients receiving immediate breast reconstruction with tissue expanders (TE-BR). The patients will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. One group will receive a single dose of antibiotics just before surgery and if necessary, more doses during the surgery. The other group will receive the same treatment as the first group, along with an additional week of antibiotics after surgery. The study will assess the rates of SSI from the two groups. It will also assess the type, duration and method (oral vs. intravenous) of subsequent antibiotic use for patients who develop SSIs in each group.
NCT04192630
The objective of the study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Bausch \& Lomb CVisc50 cohesive OVD compared to the Alcon ProVisc® cohesive OVD when used in cataract surgery.
NCT01624142
A study to assess the long term safety and tolerability of evolocumab (AMG 145) in adolescents and adults with severe familial hypercholesterolemia.
NCT04090697
The primary aim of this study is to determine if clinically relevant doses of buccally administered oxandrolone are safe and tolerable in neonates with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) or other single right ventricular anomalies who have undergone a Norwood procedure. The secondary aim is to evaluate the efficacy of buccally administered oxandrolone in improving objective indices of growth and nutrition in neonates who have undergone a Norwood procedure.
NCT04547998
This is a prospective blinded within-subject randomized study to evaluate the application of Spray-On Skin™ Cells, prepared using the RECELL® Device for safe and effective repigmentation of ablated stable vitiligo lesions.
NCT04295135
The purpose of the study is to determine whether and how having access to the Chronic Pain OneSheet clinical decision support tool in Epic affects the ordering, prescribing, goal-setting, risk monitoring, and outcome measuring behavior of participating primary care providers (PCPs) in visits with patients with chronic pain conditions. The investigators will also assess whether access to the Chronic Pain OneSheet results in PCPs making chronic pain treatment decisions that are more concordant with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain.
NCT03058666
Study to test the hypothesis that aerosolized Infasurf can decrease the need for intubation and instillation of liquid surfactant to the airway.
NCT00630331
The present study will evaluate clinical efficacy, safety, tolerability and immunogenicity of both Novartis Vaccines' cell-derived influenza vaccine and egg-derived influenza vaccine in healthy adults 18 to 49 years of age.
NCT04388813
This is a longitudinal, multi-center, observational study collecting diverse biological measurements and clinical and epidemiological data for the purpose of enabling a greater understanding of the onset of severe outcomes, primarily acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and/or mortality, in patients presenting to the hospital with suspicion or diagnosis of COVID-19. We seek to understand whether there are early signatures that predict progression to ARDS, mortality, and/or other comorbid conditions. The duration of the study participation is approximately 3 months.
NCT03633058
This 2 cohort, sequential, ascending dose study will assess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of oral ketamine dosed in a single 5-day BID regimen in addition to placebo, in a 4-week cross-over design in patients with Rett Syndrome. Approximately 12 patients per cohort are anticipated to participate for approximately 8-10 weeks at approximately 7 US study centers.
