NCT04950166
Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) results from the metastasis of a primary cancer of the peritoneum (e.g., appendiceal, ovarian, uterine, colorectal, and gastric cancers) that then disseminates throughout the abdominal cavity. Historically progression to PC was considered terminal and resulted in survival times on the scale of a few months with palliative care being the best option for patients. More recently, cytoreductive surgery (CS) has emerged as a means to prolong and improve patient lives with a median increase in survival of up to \~5 years. It has been reported that for every 10% increase in cytoreduction there is a 5.5% increase in median survival time. In addition to surgical tumor debulking within the peritoneal space, it has also been shown that coupling surgical intervention with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) can have an even greater impact on patient outcomes. Pegsitacianine, a micellar fluorescence agent, exploits the ubiquitous pH differences observed between cancerous and normal tissues. This in turn, provides a highly sensitive and specific fluorescence response after localizing within the tumor microenvironment, thus allowing the detection of primary tumors, their margins, metastatic disease, and tumor-containing lymph nodes.
NCT05254171
The study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study of standard treatment with nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine with or without SBP-101 in subjects previously untreated for metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA), including subjects who have received prior neoadjuvant or adjuvant treatment.
NCT05103657
This study is open to people aged 18 to 65 who have post-traumatic stress disorder. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called BI 1358894 improves symptoms in people with post-traumatic stress disorder. Participants are put into 2 groups randomly, which means by chance. Participants take BI 1358894 or placebo as tablets every day for 2 months. Placebo tablets look like BI 1358894 tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants are in the study for about 3 months. During this time, they visit the study site about 8 times and get about 4 phone calls from the trial staff. During the study, participants answer questions in interviews and complete questionnaires so the doctors can check whether their symptoms change. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.
NCT02101905
This pilot phase I clinical trial studies how well lapatinib ditosylate before surgery works in treating patients with high-grade glioma that has come back after a period of time during which the tumor could not be detected. Lapatinib ditosylate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT04292912
The study will be composed of 3 periods for all participants: Screening, 28-day Treatment period, and Follow-up visit (approximately 28 days after the final dose).
NCT01705483
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability and pharmacokinetics of ASP9853 combined with docetaxel or with paclitaxel in subjects with advanced non-hematologic malignancies.
NCT02091999
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics of enfortumab vedotin as well as assess the immunogenicity and antitumor activity in subjects with metastatic urothelial cancer and other malignant solid tumors that express Nectin-4.
NCT03799003
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the tolerability and safety profile of ASP1951 when administered as a single agent and in combination with pembrolizumab in participants with locally advanced (unresectable) or metastatic solid tumors; characterize the pharmacokinetic profile of ASP1951 when administered as a single agent and in combination with pembrolizumab; and determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of ASP1951 and/or maximum tolerated dose (MTD) when administered as a single agent and in combination with pembrolizumab. This study will also evaluate the anti-tumor effect of ASP1951 when administered as a single agent and in combination with pembrolizumab.
NCT01413750
Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Vorinostat may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether giving carboplatin and paclitaxel together is more effective with or without vorinostat in treating non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT04795713
This will be a Phase 1 Open-label, dose escalation and expansion study of MT-6402 (an Engineered Toxin Body (ETB)) in subjects with advanced solid cancer that expresses PD-L1
NCT03950739
This was a Phase 1b safety and tolerability single-sequence study in which PAH subjects on a stable regimen of Tyvaso switched to a corresponding dose of TreT.
NCT04060862
The open-label Phase Ib portion of this study will evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics of ipatasertib in combination with palbociclib and fulvestrant to identify a dose of ipatasertib that can be combined with palbociclib and fulvestrant in the Phase III portion. The randomized Phase III portion of this study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, and patient-reported outcome (PRO) objectives of ipatasertib + palbociclib + fulvestrant compared with placebo + palbociclib + fulvestrant in patients with HR+ HER2-, locally advanced unresectable or metastatic breast cancer who had relapsed during adjuvant endocrine therapy or progressed during the initial 12 months of first-line endocrine therapy in locally advanced unresectable or metastatic breast cancer.
NCT03509285
This randomized, single-dose, placebo- and active-controlled, crossover study will evaluate the abuse liability potential of cenobamate in recreational drug users with sedative drug use experience. In the Qualification phase, subjects will receive a single dose of either alprazolam or placebo in a crossover design, with a wash-out period of at least 24 hours between treatments. Subjects who are clearly able to distinguish the positive control from placebo will be enrolled in the Treatment phase and will be randomized to single oral doses of cenobamate (2 dose levels), alprazolam (2 dose levels), and placebo in a double-blind, double-dummy, 5-way crossover design. Washout-periods between the 5 treatment periods in the Treatment phase will be at least 16 days.
NCT01318642
This study is a phase 2, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, active placebo-controlled trial of AMG 479 or placebo in combination with gemcitabine as first-line therapy for locally advanced unresectable adenocarinoma of the pancreas. Approximately 150 subjects will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to AMG 479 and gemcitabine, or gemcitabine and placebo. Randomization will be stratified by ECOG (0 or 1). Gemcitabine will be given on days 1, 8, and 15, followed by AMG 479 on days 1 and 15 of every 28 day cycle. Treatment will continue until radiographic disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, withdrawal of consent, or start of a new anti-cancer therapy.

NCT06579417
This is a multicenter, multinational trial to evaluate advanced MRI techniques for improved detection of clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa). The study will enroll 500 participants at 5 clinical centers (100 participants per center). The current standard MRI technique for prostate cancer screening is multiparametric MRI (mpMRI), but two drawbacks include need for intravenous (IV) contrast and dependence on radiologist expertise. The investigators expect that the combination of two other techniques, biparametric MRI (bpMRI) and Restriction Spectrum Imaging restriction score (RSIrs), will help non-expert radiologists achieve similar performance to expert radiologists using bpMRI or mpMRI for detection of csPCa, while avoiding the drawbacks that are present when using mpMRI.
NCT06395662
Radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS) often precedes Multiple Sclerosis (MS) but some patients have no symptoms. This study aims to use biological samples and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data from four large cohorts of patients with MS in the United States, Europe and France, to stratify the chances of RIS developing into MS. Identifying early biomarkers to predict greater disease severity would have a significant impact, not only on RIS but also on the entire clinical spectrum of multiple sclerosis.
