Subjects are eligible for this study only after participating in another "qualifying" study of CP-690,550 A sub-study will be conducted within the A3921024 study, this study will evaluate the immune response to pneumococcal and influenza vaccines in patients receiving CP-690,550
NCT00384839
The purpose of this research study is to find out what effects (good and bad) Vidaza has on patients with prostate cancer. This investigational drug is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of prostate cancer; however, it is approved in myelodysplastic syndrome - a bone marrow disease. The pharmaceutical company involved in this study, Pharmion Corporation, is the manufacturer of Vidaza.
NCT02325791
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity of suptavumab (REGN2222) in infants born no more than 35 weeks, 6 days gestational age who are no more than 6 months of age at the time of enrollment in their respective geographic location. In order to optimize the potential benefit in this vulnerable population, we conducted this study during the RSV season using dosing regimens that are expected to be effective.
NCT01345929
This is a Phase 3, multicenter, prospective, randomized, double-blind, double dummy study of CXA 201 IV infusions (1500 mg q8h) versus levofloxacin IV infusions (750 mg qd) for the treatment of adults with a cUTI (including pyelonephritis).
NCT03377426
The purpose of the study is to evaluate whether LYS228 can be developed for the treatment of complicated urinary tract infections
NCT01406561
The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of OMS103HP solution for Injection (OMS103HP-S) and function as measured by the Knee Osteoarthritis Outcome Survey (KOOS) Symptoms subscale through Day 30 compared with vehicle irrigation solution for knee symptoms in subjects undergoing meniscectomy.
NCT00965380
The purpose of this study is to utilize Trinity Evolution in conjunction with an interbody spacer and supplemental posterior fixation of the surgeon's choice and to follow the patients to measure the clinical outcomes and rate of fusion. The hypothesis of the study is that Trinity Evolution combined with an interbody spacer and supplemental posterior fixation will result in fusion rates and clinical outcomes similar to those with other routinely used autograft and allograft materials including: fusion, improvement in pain and function, maintenance of lower extremity neurological function, and absence of serious adverse events related to the use of the Trinity Evolution product.
NCT02472977
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the combination of Ulocuplumab and Nivolumab is safe and effective in the treatment of pancreatic cancer and small cell lung cancer.
NCT03175354
This is a randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of ALX-101 Gel 1.5% and 5% and a matching ALX-101 Gel Vehicle when applied topically twice daily for 42 days to adult and adolescent subjects with moderate atopic dermatitis.
NCT00100659
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of peginterferon alfa-2a (PEG-2a) in combination with ribavirin (RV) and PEG-2a alone for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (CHC) infection in children. The purpose of this study is also to determine whether PEG-2a in combination with RV or PEG-2a alone will result in a longer response rate in children with CHC.
NCT02074410
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of OMS643762 (the study drug) in subjects with Huntington's disease (HD).
NCT00516256
The aims include: 1. To measure the effect of the three study conditions on Quality of Life (QOL). * CHESS and Cancer Information Mentor will not differ initially (6 weeks) or late in treatment (6 months) in QOL * CHESS +Cancer Information Mentor will have the largest impact on QOL (initially and late in treatment) and will be significantly better than either CHESS or Cancer Information Mentor alone. 2. To measure potential intervening or mediating processes, so that we can determine how CHESS and the Cancer Information Mentor produce associated QOL benefits. 3. To conduct exploratory use analyses examining which types of CHESS content, sequential patterns of content use, or other characteristics of use behavior are associated with greater pretest-posttest improvements in QOL. 4. To conduct a secondary analysis exploring whether men whose partners have actively used CHESS do better than those whose partners did not use CHESS.
NCT02109562
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of RBP-7000 compared with placebo in the treatment of patients with schizophrenia. This will be a double-blind, placebo-controlled, Phase III study with 90 mg and 120 mg doses of RBP-7000 compared with placebo over an 8-week treatment period.
NCT00475644
To evaluate the antitumor activity, as measured by tumor response rate, of enzastaurin in participants with Follicular Lymphoma (FL).
NCT01147640
A Phase 2, multicenter, prospective, randomized, double-blind study of CXA-101/ tazobactam (1000/500 mg q8h) and metronidazole (500 mg q8h) IV infusion vs. meropenem IV infusion (1000 mg q8h) and a matching saline placebo (q8h) in the treatment of cIAI in adult subjects. Dose adjustments for subjects with mild renal impairment are not necessary and subjects with more severe degrees of renal failure are excluded.
NCT01782963
This research study is a Phase II clinical trial. Phase II clinical trials test the effectiveness of an investigational combination of drugs. The purpose is to learn whether the combination of drugs works in treating a specific cancer. "Investigational" means that the combination of drugs is still being studied. It also means that research doctors are trying to find out more about it. Examples of what they want to learn about are the safest dose to use, the side effects it may cause, and if the combination of drugs works for treating different types of cancer.
NCT00744952
Assessing disease activity in people with Takayasu's arteritis is difficult, as most people with the disease do not exhibit visible, measurable symptoms. Combination positron emission tomography/computed axial tomography (PET/CT) is a particularly sensitive, accurate scanning method that may improve researchers' ability to evaluate people with the disease. This study will determine the effectiveness of PET/CT in assessing disease activity in people with Takayasu's arteritis.
NCT00838565
This study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of PF-04236921 administered monthly as three intravenous infusions. Each group of patients will be assigned to a dose level; Safety and tolerability of a low dose level will be required before proceeding to successively higher dose levels. Blood tests will be performed to measure the amount of drug and changes in measures of inflammation.
NCT02918071
The purpose of the study is to assess functionality, performance, and reliability of an single-use auto-injector (AI) with benralizumab administered subcutaneously (SC) in an at-home setting reported by the patient or caregiver, and to confirm the safety and clinical benefit of benralizumab administration in asthma patients with severe asthma
NCT02456584
This is a randomized, multi-center, parallel-group Phase I study to evaluate the pharmacodynamics (PD) of Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (MPA) after a single subcutaneous (SC) injection of 150 mg/mL or 300 mg/2 mL Depo-Provera CI in the abdomen of women of reproductive age with a confirmed ovulatory baseline cycle.
