NCT06308653
Approximately 240 eligible adult participants (≥18 years old) who meet Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5-TR) criteria for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) will be enrolled. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive a single oral dose of Psilocybin 25 mg, Psilocybin 5 mg, or inactive placebo. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of Psilocybin 25 mg versus placebo in adults with MDD, as assessed by the difference between groups in change in depressive symptoms from Baseline to Day 43 post-dose, and to characterize the durability of initial treatment effect and subsequent response to optional Psilocybin 25 mg re-administration(s) during the 1-year Follow-up Period.
NCT02595944
This phase III ALCHEMIST treatment trial studies how well nivolumab after surgery and chemotherapy work in treating patients with stage IB-IIIA non-small cell lung cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
NCT04225871
The RAISE-XT study is an open-label extension study to evaluate the long-term efficacy, safety, and tolerability of zilucoplan in subjects with gMG who have previously participated in a qualifying Ra Pharmaceuticals sponsored zilucoplan study.
NCT06612268
This study is conducted to confirm whether etavopivat works well at reducing the number of Vaso-occlusive crisis VOCs (sickle cell pain crises) caused by obstructions in blood vessels in adults and adolescents living with sickle cell disease. The study will also evaluate how well etavopivat can reduce the damage to different organs, improve your exercise tolerance and reduce fatigue in people with sickle cell disease. The participants will either get etavopivat or placebo. Which treatment the participants will get is decided by chance. Etavopivat is a new medicine and is currently being tested in other studies in addition to this one. The study will last for about 2 years.
NCT04123795
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetic (PK) of certolizumab pegol (CZP) in study participants aged 6 to 17 years with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis (PSO) in order to support extrapolation of efficacy.
NCT05931887
To assess the ability of the Silq ClearTract™ 100% Silicone 2-Way Foley Catheter to reduce catheter associated complications in subjects that require a long-term indwelling Foley catheter when compared to other commercially available Foley catheters.
NCT04239235
INtegrated Support Persons Into Recovery (INSPIRE) is a 4-year research project that tests whether integrating a patient's support person into a patient's treatment with Buprenorphine/Naloxone can improve outcomes. The study will examine whether a counseling program called CRAFT for a support person, such as a family member, spouse or friend, can improve patient outcomes.
NCT07549581
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of multiple dose oral administration of SEP-380135 in participants with schizophrenia or with a major depressive episode associated with bipolar I or II disorder or major depressive disorder (MDD).
NCT06212804
This is a first-in-human (FIH), randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, single ascending dose (SAD) study to assess the safety and tolerability of VIS954, a monoclonal antibody, in healthy adult male and female participants.
NCT06972459
The main purpose of this study is to see how orforglipron, compared with placebo, helps reduce body weight in participants with obesity or with overweight and at least one other related health condition (excluding type 2 diabetes). This trial is part of the master protocol study J2A-MC-GZPO (NCT06993792). Participation in the study will last about 18 months.
NCT07223138
This is a study to demonstrate the long-term safety, tolerability and clinical efficacy of sonelokimab in the treatment of patients with psoriatic arthritis who completed a parental study (M1095-PSA-301 or M1095-PSA-302)
NCT02100904
The ULTRA Registry is a nationwide observational arm of the ULTRA trial. Data from the ULTRA Registry will be used to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of laparoscopic RF ablation (Acessa). The ULTRA Registry will recruit women age 21 or older who plan to undergo or have undergone laparoscopic RF ablation (Acessa) or myomectomy within the United States. Participants will be recruited through study materials distributed at clinical offices across the country where gynecologists are performing laparoscopic RF ablation (Acessa). Study participants will consent to participate in a 3 year prospective study conducted by UCSF but the fibroid procedure will be performed by the study participants' own gynecologist. We will evaluate changes in fibroid-related symptoms from pre-treatment values to 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, and 36 months after RFA (Acessa). We will determine long-term efficacy of RFA (Acessa) by evaluating the rate of re-treatment for symptomatic fibroids after the RFA (Acessa) procedure versus myomectomy. Participants will be asked for permission to review their medical records to assess surgical and pregnancy outcomes. UC San Francisco will have oversight of all scientific and administrative aspects of the study. All study data will be stored securely in a HIPAA compliant, secure database monitored by the UC San Francisco Coordinating Center.
