REMICADE (infliximab) is a drug used to treat active Crohn's disease and is being tested in an experiment to see if it may be useful in preventing relapse of Crohn's disease after surgical resection. This study will compare the effects (both good and bad) of REMICADE (infliximab) to those of placebo. Placebo looks like the drug being studied but has no active ingredients.

Congestive heart failure is a common disorder in which the heart cannot pump enough blood to meet the needs of the rest of the body. Poor sodium handling by the kidneys is a damaging effect of heart failure, and it leads to symptoms of congestion such as shortness of breath or ankle swelling. Recent studies suggest that reducing the nerve activity to a kidney could reduce sodium retention and blood pressure. An improvement in the way the kidneys handle sodium may reduce disease progression and decrease symptoms for heart failure patients.

JC virus is a benign virus which infects approximately up to 90% of the normal adult population. However, it may be reactivated in people who have a decreased immune function as in HIV infection, cancer, chemotherapy, transplant recipients, or in MS patients treated with natalizumab (Tysabri). In these patients, JC virus can cause a severe brain disease called Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML), for which there is no cure. As of September 2013, 400 MS patients in the world, who have been treated with natalizumab, have developed PML. The risk of PML is approximately 5 patients in 1000 after 24 months on the drug. Researchers do not know exactly in which cells of the body the virus lives but it has been isolated from the blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and from the brains of patients with immunosuppression. In this study, the investigators wish to determine precisely where the virus lives, and how the body prevents it from causing brain disease. Because of the association of PML with natalizumab, the investigators would like to see if there is a difference in the amounts of virus in blood, urine, and CSF found in MS patients treated with natalizumab or those treated with different medications for MS, or those not treated at all. The investigators hope that this knowledge will allow us to find better ways of preventing the development of PML as well as treatments for patients with PML.

The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good and/or bad, sunitinib has on patients and their tumors. At this time, no drugs are routinely used to treat meningioma, hemangioblastoma or hemangiopericytoma. Only surgery and radiation therapy are known to be useful. Sunitinib is a drug approved for advanced kidney cancer. Sunitinib is also being studied for other tumors. It may be useful in the treatment of brain tumors because it can prevent formation of new blood vessels that allow tumor cells to survive and grow.

The purpose of this research study is to see if the study drug, CT-011, is safe to give and if it helps people with melanoma that has spread to other areas of their body. CT-011 is a monoclonal antibody. Monoclonal antibodies are a type of drug that is typically given by infusion into a vein (intravenously). Monoclonal antibodies are antibodies made in a lab instead of by the immune system which then recruit the immune system to help fight cancer cells. All final eligible subjects will receive an intravenous infusion of CT-011. This study will test two dose levels of the study drug: Group 1: Patients in this group will be given the study drug at dose level 1 (1.5 mg/kg). Group 2: Patients in this group will be given the study drug at dose level 2 (6.0 mg/kg). Each group will be given the study drug through an IV (a needle put into a vein in the arm) on day 1. After day 1, the study drug will be given every other week. Patients may be given a total of up to 27 study drug infusions for about 12 months while they are in the study. Approximately 100 patients will participate in this study.

Many women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) ask their doctor if there are any behaviors they should avoid, or any behaviors they should emphasize during their IVF cycle. This study examines the effects of health habits surrounding exercise, smoking, alcohol, sleep, caffeine, herbal medications, acupuncture, and diet on pregnancy rates during IVF cycles. The purpose of this study is to determine if lifestyle behaviors have a significant impact on pregnancy rates during treatment with IVF. This is an observational study conducted at a private academically-affiliated infertility clinic and includes 118 women ages 44 and below scheduled to undergo IVF treatment. All subjects were asked to complete a health history survey at the time of enrollment and a daily survey during each day of their IVF cycle. The primary outcome is clinical pregnancy rate.

The purpose of this is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of imetelstat (GRN163L) as maintenance therapy for patients with advanced stage NSCLC who have not progressed after 4 cycles of platinum based therapy. Participants will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to imetelstat + standard of care versus standard of care alone. Participants who received bevacizumab with their induction chemotherapy will continue to receive bevacizumab on this study.
