This study is designed to investigate the safety and tolerability of a new drug, AZD5363, in patients with advanced cancer - and to identify a dose and schedule that can be used in the future. This study will also investigate how the body handles AZD5363 (ie, how quickly the body absorbs and removes the drug). This study will also investigate anti-tumour activity of AZD5363 in patients with advanced / metastatic breast, gynaecological cancers or other solid cancers bearing either AKT1 / PIK3CA or PTEN mutation.

This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a chemotherapeutic drug (topotecan) as it is given directly into brain tumors by a delivery technique called convection-enhanced delivery. This drug has been used for different types of cancer, but in this study it will be given by an experimental delivery technique designed to maximize the amount of drug delivered to the brain tumor and minimize the side effects in other parts of the body. This study will also evaluate advanced magnetic resonance (MR) imaging techniques. The study will assess quality of life parameters throughout the follow-up period.

The goal of this study is to study the adaptation process in newly implanted Single-Sided Deaf Cochlear Implant (SSD-CI) users. Subjects will use four frequency maps for the first month after CI activation. One of these maps will be standard of care and the other three will have higher low frequency edges than the standard of care default maps. These maps will alternate daily during the first month (with exceptions made for situations when the subject is allowed to use a preferred map rather than the map predetermined for use that day), and after that point each subject will make a selection at the beginning of the week to compare all four maps and decide which one to use at the beginning of the following week. The goal of this study is to investigate how reducing place-pitch mismatch in SSD CI users affects 1) sound quality, 2) device use, and 3) speech perception.

This study will evaluate whether applying micro drops of cyanoacrylate glue to the participant's peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) insertion site prior to covering the area of PICC line with a transparent film dressing will make the PICC dressing last longer and prevent an occurrence of PICC line moving out of its original placement. The investigators aims to evaluate whether 1) using the cyanoacrylate glue will lengthen the time to first dressing change; and 2) participants in the experimental arm (glue used) will have fewer dressing changes per week compared to the control arm (standard care) during admission.

The CardioClip study is exploring the use of a wireless sensor to monitor pressure in the pulmonary artery. This sensor is inserted much like the mTEER procedure, a non-surgical method through a vein in the groin. The investigators want to find out if the sensor, by constantly sending information about heart function, can help improve patient outcomes. This means doctors could adjust medications based on real-time pressure changes detected by the sensor. The results from this study will help pave the way for future trials, asking if using these wireless sensors could benefit people with valve disease and heart failure.

This is a prospective comparative study, where patients who meet inclusion criteria undergoing a craniofacial procedure will either be provided with novel high dissolving transitional foods for use in the post-operative period (Intervention Group) or will not be provided the food and will proceed as per current standard of care (Standard of Care Group). Both groups will be followed pre-operatively at time of pre-operative visit, and will be followed in the post-operative period, with two visits at 1 and 3 weeks post-operatively, respectively.

The goal of this study is to extend the efficacy evidence of sustained release methylphenidate compound (JornayPM) in adults with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). JornayPM has recently been approved for treatment of patients 6 years and older with ADHD; the release mechanism is unique among ADHD products in that it is taken in the evening, with effects in the morning upon awakening and then throughout the subsequent day. Of note, to date, there is no clinical data as to the tolerability or clinical effects or dosing in adults with ADHD; therefore the primary aim of this trial is to gather the first set of these data.

The rare histiocytic disorders (RHDs) are characterized by the infiltration of one or more organs by non-LCH histiocytes. They can range from localized disease that resolves spontaneously, to progressive disseminated forms that can be sometimes life-threatening. Since they are extremely rare, there is limited understanding of their causes and best treatment options. Physicians, patients and parents of children with RHDs frequently consult members of the Histiocyte Society regarding the best management of these disorders. Very often, no specific recommendation can be made due to the lack of prospective outcome data, or even large retrospective case series. The creation of an international rare histiocytic disorders registry (IRHDR) could facilitate a uniform diagnosis of the RHDs, as well as the collection and analysis of the clinical, epidemiological, treatment and survival data of patients with RHD. The registry may also lead to future therapeutic recommendations, provide a framework for future clinical trials and create excellent research opportunities.

This is a prospective observational cohort study that will include SBHC patients at the 6 participating SBHCs who receive a reproductive health visit as part of their care in a setting where telehealth-supported care is available. Information will be collected during patient interviews in the follow-up observation period regarding LARC initiation, satisfaction and continuation. Aim 1. Quantify uptake of LARC (contraceptive implant, IUD) within the SBHC network following implementation of telehealth-supported LARC provision. Aim 2: Describe the implementation of telehealth-supported long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) service provision in school-based health centers (SBHCs) using mixed methods. Aim 3: Quantify LARC continuation, as in absolute continuation rate 12 months post-initiation, with analyses also examining continuation at 6 months follow-up period, among LARC initiators within the SBHC network following implementation of telehealth-supported LARC provision. Aim 4: Compare continuation rates across dimensions of telehealth experience.

The purpose of this study is to estimate the observed incidence of the health outcomes (suicide attempt or ideation, suicide ideation, suicide attempt, psychosis, and substance abuse) in a cohort of participants diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) who are first-line new therapy with methylphenidate monotherapy, lisdexamfetamine monotherapy, atomoxetine monotherapy, amphetamine/dextroamphetamine combo therapy, and either methylphenidate/lisdexamfetamine/atomoxetine monotherapy or amphetamine/dextroamphetamine combo therapy during the 'on treatment' period from 7 days after the start of exposure through the end of exposure (treatment discontinuation for at least 60 days) and the 'intent to treat' period from 7 days after start of treatment to end of continuous observation; and to compare the hazards of outcomes (suicide attempt or ideation, suicide ideation, suicide attempt, psychosis, and substance abuse) in the target cohort (participants diagnosed with ADHD who are first-line monotherapy new users of methylphenidate) versus each comparator cohort (patients diagnosed with ADHD who are first-line newly exposed to lisdexamfetamine monotherapy, atomoxetine monotherapy, amphetamine/dextroamphetamine combo therapy) during the 'on treatment' period from 7 days after the start of exposure through the end of exposure (treatment discontinuation for at least 60 days) and the 'intent to treat' period from 7 days after start of treatment to end of continuous observation.

This is a prospective, observational study designed to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of RGX-314. Eligible participants are those who were previously enrolled in a clinical study of nAMD in which they received suprachoroidal space (SCS) administration of RGX-314. Enrollment of each participant in the current study should occur after the participant has completed either the end of study or early discontinuation visit in the previous (parent) clinical study. Participants will be followed for up to 5 years after RGX-314 administration (inclusive of the parent study). As such, the total study duration for each participant may vary depending on when they enroll in the current study following RGX-314 administration in the parent study.

Narrative: Worldwide, traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a leading cause of death and disability among children and adolescents. The Investigators aim to test whether pediatric TBI treatment guided by invasive intracranial pressure monitoring produces better patient outcomes than care guided by a protocol without invasive monitoring. Study findings will inform clinical practice in treating pediatric severe TBI globally. Focused didactic and experience-based learning opportunities will increase the research capacity of pediatric intensivists in Latin America.
