NCT04541446
Human participants will include medical residents. Each year the entering 1st year medical residents at Hershey Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center will be taught to perform these procedures using the DHRT or the DHRT+ devices. The resident's performance will be measured and evaluated by these devices during the training. The technique of the training does not differ from what is currently taught at either of these institutions. In addition the residents will be required to pass the same skills assessment currently required at their institution. Upon successfully passing the skills assessment the residents will perform CVC interventions on under supervision. After the procedure the investigators will examine patient files to determine any changes in central line related complications and infection rates due to new clinical educational practices.

IMGN853-0420 is a multicenter, open-label, phase 2 study of carboplatin plus mirvetuximab soravtansine followed by mirvetuximab soravtansine continuation in folate receptor-alpha positive, recurrent platinum sensitive, high-grade epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer following 1 prior line of platinum-based chemotherapy.
NCT04770545
This is a phase 3, open-label, multicenter, extension study to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of pegcetacoplan (APL-2) in subjects with geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD) who participated in Study APL2-103 (NCT03777332) or completed the treatment at Month 24 of either Study APL2-303 (Derby, NCT03525613) or Study APL2-304 (Oaks, NCT03525600).
NCT03047369
The Myelin Disorders Biorepository Project (MDBP) seeks to collect and analyze clinical data and biological samples from leukodystrophy patients worldwide to support ongoing and future research projects. The MDBP is one of the world's largest leukodystrophy biorepositories, having enrolled nearly 2,000 affected individuals since it was launched over a decade ago. Researchers working in the biorepository hope to use these materials to uncover new genetic etiologies for various leukodystrophies, develop biomarkers for use in future clinical trials, and better understand the natural history of these disorders. The knowledge gained from these efforts may help improve the diagnostic tools and treatment options available to patients in the future.
NCT07219524
The goal of this clinical trial is to test the feasibility and acceptability of the Bright IDEAS problem-solving skills training (PSST) intervention for parents of children undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The main question aims to answer: * Determine the feasibility and acceptability of a multimodal PSST intervention for English and Spanish-speaking parents of children and adolescents undergoing autologous and allogeneic HSCT using a randomized controlled trial design and mixed methods approach to evaluation * To evaluate the effectiveness of a PSST intervention on PSS acquisition and psychological distress compared to a control group of parents receiving non-directive psychosocial care (n=25). * To explore the effect of the parent PSST on child quality of life (QoL) and self-reported symptoms, mediated by parent psychological distress If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare PSST intervention usual or standard psychosocial care. Participants will complete 6-8 sessions of intervention. All participants will complete surveys.
NCT07219862
This study is testing software designed to help healthcare providers choose the best HIV treatment combinations for their patients. HIV medicines, known as antiretroviral therapy (ART), can be complex to manage because the right regimen depends on many factors-such as drug resistance, other health conditions, and medication schedules. Many people with HIV are cared for by general clinicians who may not have access to HIV specialists, which can make treatment decisions more challenging. In this study, healthcare providers will use patient cases to compare standard HIV treatment resources with a new clinical decision support tool that gives evidence-based ART recommendations at the point of care. The investigators hypothesize that using the tool will help providers select treatment plans that better match clinical guidelines, make decisions faster, reduce mental effort, and increase overall satisfaction with the prescribing process.
NCT03590652
The purpose of this study is to determine the overall response rate of patients with Multiple Myeloma to the combination of Daratumumab, Ixazomib, Pomalidomide and Dexamethasone.
NCT06116890
The purpose of this study is to evaluate efficacy and safety of KHK4951 eye drops in patients with nAMD.
NCT06072131
Part 1: This is a 5 Arm study primarily to determine the best dose out of the two dose levels of Belinostat and Pralatrexate combined with CHOP/COP in newly diagnosed PTCL patients based on Safety for part 2 study. Part 2 (Efficacy and Safety): This is a 3 Arm study. Patients with previously untreated PTCL will be randomized 1:1:1 into 1 of 3 treatment groups: 2 experimental treatment groups (Bel-CHOP or Fol-COP) or 1 active comparator treatment group (CHOP). Patients will be treated for up to 6 cycles. The primary objective is to compare the Progression Free Survival of patients with newly diagnosed PTCL treated for up to 6 cycles with Beleodaq (belinostat) in combination with CHOP (Bel-CHOP) or Folotyn (pralatrexate injection) in combination with COP (Fol-COP) to CHOP alone.
