The main aim of the study is to evaluate the lielihood of panenteric mucosal healing in Crohn's disease patients treated with vedolizumab The study will include patients with active Crohn's disease who are starting treatment with vedolizumab. The patients will undergo evaluation with panenteric capsule endoscopy, intestinal ultrasound and inflammatory biomarkers before treatment onset, at week 14 and week 52

Phase angle (PhA) is a biometric parameter measured by bioimpedance analysis (BIA), which reflects organism cellularity and tissues hydration. In addition, since it correlates with the presence of inflammation and the nutritional status, it could be useful to monitor inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) activity. The aim of this study was to establish the potential use of PhA as a new non-invasive and sensitive marker correlated with mucosal healing and/or IBD activity.

This randomized, controlled study aims to evaluate the impact of therapeutic intervention (step up) for the patients who are clinical remission with Magnetic Resonance Enterocolonography (MREC) active. In addition, to evaluate the impact of therapeutic step down for the patients who archived clinical and MREC remission. The primary endpoint is the rate of clinical remission at 104 weeks.

This study aims to test a new treatment called hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for a severe type of inflammatory bowel disease called perianal Crohn's disease (PCD). PCD causes painful perianal infections and chronic drainage from fistula tracts, and current treatments are only moderately effective and may not be suitable for all patients. HBOT is a safe and commonly used treatment for chronic non-healing wounds and other conditions. Previous studies have suggested that HBOT may help heal fistulas in PCD patients, but these studies were small and lacked controls.
