NCT03258554
This phase II/III trial studies how well radiation therapy works with durvalumab or cetuximab in treating patients with head and neck cancer that has spread to a local and/or regional area of the body who cannot take cisplatin. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Cetuximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. It is not known if radiation therapy with durvalumab will work better than the usual therapy of radiation therapy with cetuximab in treating patients with head and neck cancer.
NCT07290569
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled, dose-range finding study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ORKA-001 in adult participants with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.
NCT06661720
This phase III trial compares the effect of adding tivozanib to standard therapy pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab alone for the treatment of patients with high-risk renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Tivozanib is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals tumor cells to multiply. This helps stop the spread of tumor cells. Giving pembrolizumab and tivozanib together may work better than pembrolizumab alone in treating patients with RCC.
NCT06470867
Veterans are most likely to disclose suicidal thoughts to their close supports such as family and friends. These loved ones are, in turn, very interested in learning how to help a Veteran in need. Close supports are uniquely poised to provide a meaningful contribution to suicide prevention, if they can learn how to effectively promote Veterans' connection to care. VA S.A.V.E. (Signs; Ask; Validate; Encourage) is a suicide prevention gatekeeper training specifically tailored to the Veteran community that teaches close supports how to identify signs of suicide risk and how to connect the at-risk person to professional treatment. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of VA S.A.V.E. and to explore factors impacting its potential widespread implementation.
NCT07074977
The primary objective of this study is to assess the PK/PD relationship of nemolizumab in adult participants aged 18 years or above with chronic pruritus of unknown origin (CPUO) during a 16-week treatment period.
NCT06864988
A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Masked, Active-Controlled Trial in Adults with Macular Neovascularization Secondary to Age-Related Macular Degeneration
NCT06271291
This study evaluates individuals without pancreatic cancer, but who have been determined to be at higher-than-average lifetime risk of developing pancreatic cancer to help detect pancreatic cancer or other cancers at an earlier time when they might be more easily treated and cured.
NCT04269200
A study to assess the efficacy and safety of durvalumab in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy (paclitaxel + carboplatin) followed by maintenance durvalumab with or without olaparib for patients with newly diagnosed advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer.
NCT06191744
Follicular lymphoma (FL) is the second most common B-cell cancer and the most common type of cancer of lymphocytes. Unfortunately, this disease is incurable with conventional treatment and the disease recurs in almost all patients. This study will assess how safe and effective epcoritamab is in combination with lenalidomide and rituximab (R2) in treating adult participants with previously untreated FL. Adverse events and change in disease condition will be assessed. Epcoritamab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of FL. Study doctors put the participants in 1 of 5 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. Around 1095 adult participants with previously untreated FL will be enrolled in approximately 250 sites across the world. Participants will receive R2 (intravenous \[IV\] infusion of rituximab (R) and oral capsules of lenalidomide) alone or in combination with subcutaneous injections of epcoritamab. Participants may also receive investigator's choice chemoimmunotherapy (CIT): IV infusion of obinutuzumab (G) and IV injections of cyclophosphamide, IV injections of doxorubicin, IV injections of vincristine, oral tablets of prednisone (CHOP) \[G-CHOP\]/ R-CHOP or G and IV infusion of bendamustine (Benda) \[G-Benda\]/R-Benda. The total treatment duration will be 120 weeks for all arms except A2, which is 24 weeks of treatment. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
NCT06857955
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of QCZ484 or placebo, given subcutaneously, every 6 months, at different dose levels in patients with mild to moderate hypertension
NCT07148739
This clinical trial is examining the action and effects of several new drugs in the treatment of cystic fibrosis in children. In addition, several genetic factors are examined. The hope is that the ability to determine prior to treatment those individuals who will or will not respond to existing therapies will avoid needless risk of side effects and the high cost of a potentially ineffective treatment regimen. Understanding the way these drugs work in the body and the best way to study them is critical to expanding the use of these drugs to all patients with cystic fibrosis (CF).
NCT04803201
This phase II trial studies the effect of duvelisib or CC-486 and usual chemotherapy consisting of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposide, and prednisone in treating patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma. Duvelisib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as CC-486, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposide and prednisone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. This trial may help find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach for treating peripheral T-cell lymphoma.
NCT05500222
This study will determine the effect of oral 80 mg resmetirom administered once daily on participants with well-compensated non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) cirrhosis by measuring the time to experiencing a Composite Clinical Outcome event.
NCT04527991
The primary objective of this study is to assess overall survival (OS) with sacituzumab govitecan-hziy in comparison with treatment of physician's choice (TPC) in participants with metastatic or locally advanced unresectable urothelial cancer (UC).
NCT06744920
A study to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of Remibrutinib versus placebo in adult patients with Generalized Myasthenia Gravis who are on stable, standard-of-care (SOC) treatment.
NCT05774756
The goal of this trial is to learn how well Setmelanotide works to improve weight reduction, hunger, and quality of life in patients 4 years of age and older with acquired Hypothalamic Obesity (HO). To determine how well setmelanotide works and how safe it is, patients with HO will take a daily injection of either setmelanotide or placebo and complete trial assessments for 52 weeks on a therapeutic regimen. A separate sub-study in patients with congenital HO is detailed under NCT06760546.
