NCT04048876
This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, multinational, dose-finding study evaluating the efficacy of three treatment doses of CC-90001 compared with placebo, in Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) participants with Stage 2, Stage 3 liver fibrosis. This study is designed to assess response to treatment on measures of fibrosis and other efficacy parameters. It will also assess dose response and overall safety.
NCT00134030
This randomized phase III trial is studying combination chemotherapy followed by surgery and two different combination chemotherapy regimens with or without PEG-interferon alfa-2b to compare how well they work in treating patients with osteosarcoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more tumor cells. Biological therapies, such as PEG-interferon alfa-2b, may interfere with the growth of tumor cells. Giving combination chemotherapy before surgery may shrink the tumor so it can be removed. Giving combination chemotherapy together with PEG-interferon alfa-2b after surgery may kill any remaining tumor cells. It is not yet known whether giving combination therapy together with PEG-interferon alfa-2b is more effective than two different combination chemotherapy regimens alone after surgery in treating osteosarcoma.
NCT04882774
This study aims to decrease elevated pressure in the lungs of patients with pulmonary hypertension from left heart with elevated pulmonary vascular resistance by utilizing aggressive fluid management with ReDS Pro System and CardioMEMS device. Participants with persistently elevated pulmonary pressure at Week 16 will begin oral treprostinil in combination with the fluid management plan while those with improved pressures maintain their fluid management plan for an additional 16 weeks.
NCT04672798
BRITEPath (BP) aims to support co-located mental health clinicians in the development of a high quality, effective, and personalized safety plan for referred patients who screen positive for depression and/or suicidal ideation. BRITEPath utilizes BRITE, a safety planning and emotion regulation app that is loaded on the patient's smart phone and has previously been shown to be well accepted and to reduce suicide attempts compared to usual care in psychiatric inpatients (HR = 0.49). To support mental health clinicians in the development of effective safety plans, study investigators will develop Guide2Brite (G2B), which provides step-by-step instructions for the mental health clinician on how to populate BRITE onto the patient's smartphone and BRITEBoard, a clinician dashboard that tracks patient symptoms, app use, and rating on helpfulness of different interventions assessed through BRITE.
NCT02527681
This study characterized the pharmacokinetics and safety of a single dose of ceftobiprole in neonates and infants aged ≤ 3 months.
NCT02057107
The aim of this trial is to examine the addition of docetaxel on disease progression, metastasis and survival of patients otherwise treated with SBRT and cetuximab alone. To better resolve the impact of the experimental treatment the presence/absence of prior cetuximab treatment will be determine before assigning treatment to either cetuximab and SBRT only or cetuximab, SBRT, and docetaxel.
NCT05887050
This study was a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, clinical trial with two parallel groups. Participants reported to a single investigational center in Ohio (i.e., The Center for Applied Health Sciences) during the 12 week trial.
NCT05291936
This is a bilateral wear, dispensing, randomized, controlled, double-masked, 2-sequence ×2-period crossover study to evaluate ocular physiology following contact lens wear.
NCT04561115
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate bioequivalence of IVIG-PEG with Gamunex-C (IVIG-C) at steady-state as determined by comparing total Immunoglobulin G (IgG) area under the concentration-time curve during the defined dosing interval (\[AUC0-τ\] either every 3 weeks \[AUC0-21 days\] or every 4 weeks \[AUC0-28 days\]) and maximum concentration in a dosing interval (Cmax) in participants diagnosed with primary humoral immunodeficiency (PI) currently receiving chronic IVIG replacement treatment.
NCT00667459
The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the PRESTIGE® LP Cervical Disc as a method of treating patients with symptoms of cervical degenerative disc disease at a single level from C3-C4 to C6-C7.
NCT02425826
This study will evaluate the clinical efficacy, the patients quality of life, and safety of oral apremilast 30 mg twice daily (BID) compared to placebo, in adult patients with moderate plaque psoriasis during the 16 week Placebo controlled Phase and then upto 1 year in the Extension Phase of the trial.
NCT03657160
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of vedolizumab when added to background aGvHD prophylaxis regimen compared to placebo and background aGvHD prophylaxis regimen on intestinal aGvHD-free survival by Day +180 in participants who receive allo-HSCT as treatment for a hematologic malignancy or myeloproliferative disorder.
NCT03944785
This is a Phase IV, prospective, observational, post-marketing study designed to obtain additional data on the effect of XADAGO on motor and non-motor symptoms in Parkinson's Disease patients newly prescribed XADAGO.
NCT02066181
This randomized phase III trial compares the effects, good and/or bad, of sorafenib tosylate in treating patients with desmoid tumors or aggressive fibromatosis. Sorafenib tosylate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the proteins needed for cell growth. \[Funding Source - FDA OOPD\]
NCT00622583
This is an open-label, multi-center, long-term, prospective hernia mesh registry. A minimum of 4,800 hernia patients will be enrolled from approximately 60 active sites globally
NCT05283499
The purpose of this study is to test protocols being developed for the conduct of a large sale multi-site clinical trial which will compare opioids to non-opioids for managing post-surgical impacted 3rd molar extraction pain.
NCT00002826
RATIONALE: Some tumors become resistant to chemotherapy drugs. Combining PSC 833 with a chemotherapy drug may reduce resistance to the drug, and allow the tumor cells to be killed. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of PSC 883 and paclitaxel in treating women who have recurrent or metastatic breast cancer.
NCT03383666
This is a prospective, multi-center, non-randomized clinical evaluation utilizing the PulseRider® Aneurysm Neck Reconstruction Device.
NCT01711541
This partially randomized phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of veliparib when given together with combination chemotherapy and to see how well they work in treating patients with stage IV head and neck cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel, cisplatin, and fluorouracil, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Veliparib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether combination chemotherapy is more effective when given with or without veliparib in treating head and neck cancer.
NCT02914639
The primary purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and exploratory efficacy of SF0166 Topical Ophthalmic Solution in patients with Neovascular (wet) Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
