NCT00620542
A 104-week, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, multi-center Phase IIIb study comparing the effects of treatment with rosuvastatin 40 mg or atorvastatin 80 mg on atherosclerotic disease burden as measured by intravascular ultrasound in patients with coronary artery disease.
NCT00130273
This study will determine whether a managed problem solving intervention can help patients with HIV better follow their anti-HIV drug regimen and can control HIV better than the standard of care.
NCT00050960
This study evaluates the use of Targretin capsules (bexarotene) in combination with standard chemotherapy for the treatment of metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) in patients who have not yet received chemotherapy for their lung cancer.
NCT00503464
This project involves a comprehensive assessment of barriers to diabetes guidelines adherence across 25 practices in the Crozer-Keystone primary care PBRN. A Barrier Assessment Tool (BAT) will be validated to correlate with provider and practice adherence to diabetes care guidelines. The network is part of the Crozer-Keystone Health System located in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in the southeast quadrant of the Philadelphia metropolitan region.
NCT01033825
To demonstrate the effects of ciclesonide applied as a nasal aerosol and ciclesonide aqueous (AQ) nasal spray on hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis.
NCT00246571
The purpose of this study is to compare progression free survival for SU011248 \[sutent (sunitinib malate)\] versus standard of care therapy in patients with previously treated, advanced, triple receptor negative (ER, PR, HER2) locally recurrent or metastatic breast cancer.
NCT00885742
Congenital deficiency of factor XIII (FXIII) is an extremely rare inherited disorder associated with potentially life-threatening bleeding. Factor XIII Concentrate is given to patients whose blood is lacking factor XIII. Factor XIII Concentrate works by assisting blood in the usual clotting process, thereby preventing bleeding. In this study, patients will be treated with FXIII Concentrate (Human) and followed closely to determine that they receive the dose that will best minimize the chance of bruising and bleeding.
NCT00682500
This study will determine if administration of an suspension of calfactant, a lung surfactant, intratracheally in patients with Direct Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome within 48 hours of requiring mechanical ventilation can decrease the mortality in patients with lethal disease and shorten the course of respiratory failure in patients with sub-lethal disease.
NCT01173419
This is a multi center, randomized, comparison study using two already cleared methods of treatment of the great saphenous vein (GSV). The hypothesis to be tested is that the use of the Venacure EVLT NeverTouch procedure is no worse than the RF ClosureFAST procedure for treatment of the GSV. Evaluation of post operative pain and bruising, quality of life assessments, adverse event assessments, confirmation of long term GSV closure, use of medications are criteria that will be evaluated during the course of this study.
NCT00493285
The overall objective of the MEDI-534 clinical development program is to evaluate the safety, efficacy and tolerability of MEDI-534 for the prevention of serious RSV and PIV3 disease in young infants.
NCT01456611
The objective of this study is to evaluate the clinical equivalence and safety of the Test formulation of diclofenac sodium topical gel 1% (Anchen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) compared to the marketed formulation Voltaren® Gel (diclofenac sodium topical gel) 1% (Novartis) in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. The efficacy of both the Test and Reference formulations will also be compared to the Placebo gel to determine Superiority.
NCT00471146
The purpose of this study is to determine whether investigational study drug, AG-013736, and gemcitabine are effective in the first-line treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer.
NCT00065429
This study was a Phase I/II trial primarily focused on efficacy of BB-10901 in relapsed small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors.
NCT00004920
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. It is not yet known whether receiving cisplatin with raltitrexed is more effective than cisplatin alone for malignant mesothelioma. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of cisplatin with or without raltitrexed in treating patients who have malignant mesothelioma of the pleura.
NCT00793897
A Phase I dose escalation study to determine the safety, tolerability, pharmacodynamics and preliminary anti-tumor activity of BMS-754807 in combination with chemotherapy drugs, paclitaxel and carboplatin, in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. In addition, the study is expected to identify the recommended dose or dose range of BMS-754807 in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin for Phase 2 studies
NCT00788333
This is a Phase I/II study to evaluate the safety profile, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics following daily oral doses of 50 to 200 mg of BMS-754807 in combination with trastuzumab (Herceptin®) in subjects with advanced or metastatic Her-2-positive breast cancer. In addition, the study is expected to identify the recommended dose or dose range of BMS-754807 in combination with trastuzumab for Phase II studies and provide preliminary evidence of anti-tumor activity in Her-2-positive breast cancer subjects after trastuzumab failure
