NCT05310071
The primary objective of this study is to verify the clinical benefit of monthly doses of aducanumab in slowing cognitive and functional impairment as measured by changes in the Clinical Dementia Rating Scale Sum of Boxes (CDR-SB) score as compared with placebo in participants with early Alzheimer's disease.
NCT02717507
This phase IIb trial studies how well low-dose carvedilol works in preventing heart failure in cancer survivors exposed to high dose anthracyclines for management of childhood cancer. Patients who received high-dose anthracycline chemotherapy are at a much greater risk for developing heart failure compared to survivors who didn't get any anthracycline chemotherapy. Heart failure happens when the heart muscle has been weakened and can't pump blood as well as it should. Carvedilol may help lower the risk of cardiovascular complications.
NCT05607810
This is a prospective, observational study designed to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of ADVM-022 in participants with diabetic macular edema (DME). Participants who previously participated in the INFINITY parent study and received a single unilateral intravitreal dose of ADVM-022 are eligible for enrollment upon completion of the end of study visit in the parent study.
NCT06601062
The goal of this study is to develop and test a telehealth tool intended to support community mental health clinicians to deliver cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The main aims of the study are to: 1. Collaborate with clinicians and supervisors to design an accessible prototype to increase clinician use of CBT in community mental health settings through focus groups, interviews, and surveys. 2. Adapt the initial model through feedback from clinicians and their patients who will be asked to test the tool then complete interviews and surveys. 3. Test the model with clinicians and their patients who will be asked to use the tool for several weeks. 4. Evaluate the acceptability and feasibility of using the tool in a pilot trial through surveys and interviews.
NCT06937450
This HTX treatment study evaluates the effects of chest tube size and the benefits of daily irrigations on acute HTX. 20 acutely injured but stable trauma patients requiring a chest tube for HTX will be enrolled. Patients will be assigned a 28Fr or 14 Fr chest tube with serial lavage and drainage. The endpoints will be HTX volume (by CT scan), complications, additional interventions, hospital length of stay, chest tube duration, provider feedback, and patient-reported outcomes.
NCT05547698
The purpose of this research study is to compare the technique of performing bilateral lung transplantation off-pump vs venoarterial ECMO (VA ECMO). The goal of the trial is to determine which technique has lower rates of primary graft dysfunction.
NCT01568489
The objective of this phase 2 study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of HL-009 Liposomal Gel in adult patients with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (AD).
NCT05120193
This is a prospective, multicenter, randomized clinical evaluation of the Sphere-9 Mapping and Ablation Catheter with the Affera Mapping and Ablation System. Subjects will be randomly assigned 1:1 to receive treatment with either the Sphere-9 Mapping and Ablation Catheter and the Affera Mapping and Ablation System (investigational device) or the THERMOCOOL SMARTTOUCH® SF radiofrequency ablation catheter (control device).
NCT05506943
This is a multi-center, open-label, randomized, phase 2/3 trial of the bispecific antibody CTX-009 plus paclitaxel versus paclitaxel in patients with previously treated, unresectable advanced or metastatic biliary tract cancers.
NCT06771037
This research study is being conducted to learn if Transcutaneous Auricular Neurostimulation (tAN®) may be effective in treating alcohol withdrawal syndrome. Transcutaneous Auricular Neurostimulation (tAN®) works by delivering small electrical stimulations to the Vagus and Trigeminal nerves. This study will be conducted over the course of five days. Participants will be enrolled within 24 hours of entering treatment for alcohol withdrawal management. A total of 60 individuals will be enrolled and randomly assigned to either active (treatment with the device + treatment as usual) or sham (treatment as usual) group. Data will be collected on alcohol craving, use of comfort medications, sleep, and mood.
NCT04075825
The main aim is to follow-up on long term side effect and symptom improvement of Darvadstrocel in the treatment of complex perianal fistula in adults. Participants will not receive any drug in this study.
NCT04440189
This is a pivotal study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a single injection of autologous adipose-derived SVF produced using the GID SVF-2 device system for treatment of pain with concomitant improvement in function associated with osteoarthritis of the knee joint.
NCT01353547
The purpose of the research study is to identify the genetic, environmental and immune profiles that may increase a person's risk of developing multiple sclerosis (MS). While MS is not a disease caused by a single variation in genetic material (DNA), a single environmental factor, or a single malfunction in immune cells, there are genetic alterations, environmental exposures and immunologic factors that make the development of MS more likely. Obtaining information about who is at risk for MS will be beneficial in the future if the investigators can identify effective ways to prevent or slow down the progression of this disease.
NCT03664232
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of JNJ-42165279 compared with placebo in the improvement of symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) during 12 weeks of treatment using the Autism Behavior Inventory (ABI).
NCT05425927
This study is being conducted for evaluation of 3D Synthetic MRI (SyMRI 15, 3D) for neuroimaging,
NCT06297941
The goal of this study is to determine the safety and antitumor effects of REM-422, a MYB mRNA degrader, in people with Higher Risk MDS and relapsed/refractory AML
NCT05660772
The goal of this clinical trial is to examine the effect of a single autologous, intra-articular injection of MFat versus corticosteroid injection for the treatment of pain and function associated with K/L grade 2/3 knee Osteoarthritis. Participants will receive an injection of MFat or a corticosteroid.
NCT03458832
The primary cause of facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), a common adult-onset dystrophy, was recently discovered identifying targets for therapy. As multiple drug companies pursue treatments for FSHD, there is an urgent need to define the clinical trial strategies which will hasten drug development, including creating disease-relevant outcome measures and optimizing inclusion criteria. This proposal will develop two new outcome measures (FSHD-COM and EIM) and optimize eligibility criteria by testing 320 patients across 14 international sites over a period of 24 months.
NCT05304962
