NCT04694300
This double-blind pilot study will evaluate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of an over-the-counter (OTC) regimen of naproxen sodium versus acetaminophen in patients receiving one or two (adjacent) dental implants. It will also confirm that naproxen sodium in the OTC dosage range is a good alternative to immediate-release opioid formulations, which are subject to misuse, abuse and diversion in this patient population.
NCT05305040
This is a Phase 3 study to evaluate posoleucel (ALVR105, Viralym-M); an allogeneic, off-the-shelf multi-virus specific T cell therapy that targets six viral pathogens: BK virus, cytomegalovirus, adenovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, human herpesvirus 6 and JC virus.
NCT04657016
This is a study of tirzepatide in participants with obesity. The purpose of this study is to learn more about how tirzepatide maintains body weight or adds to weight loss after an intensive lifestyle modification program. The study will last about 2 years (29 visits).
NCT05262517
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of rimegepant versus placebo in the acute treatment of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD), which are medical conditions involving the temporomandibular joint (the joint connecting the jawbone to the skull) and surrounding muscles and tissues.
NCT05674110
The goal of this project is to provide diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) and simultaneously address food insecurity for a high-risk, ethnically diverse adult population who participate in a food pantry. This project will utilize a Community-Based Participatory Research model (CBPR). Community representatives will engage in project implementation by participating in designing the messaging for cultural impact and advising in study operations. This intervention targets food pantry clients self-reporting a T2DM diagnosis or who screen positive for T2DM through on-site HbA1c testing. Once enrolled, participants will complete self-paced web-based/mobile DSMES modules, available in English and Spanish, that include the ADCES7 (Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists) Self-Care BehaviorsTM. Support through text messaging, monthly group sessions, and peer mentorship will be facilitated by nursing students, registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), and diabetes care and education specialists (DCES) for 12 weeks. Participants will receive nutritious food from the pantry consistent with dietary guidelines for diabetes.
NCT00847613
This study is designed to provide safety and efficacy data to support the development of CP-690,550 in patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis on background of methotrexate.
NCT03992456
This phase II trial studies how well retreatment with panitumumab works compared to standard of care regorafenib or trifluridine and tipiracil hydrochloride (TAS-102) in treating patients with colorectal cancer that is negative for RAS wild-type colorectal cancer has spread to other places in the body (metastatic), and/or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable), and is negative for resistance mutations in blood. Treatment with panitumumab may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Some tumors need growth factors to keep growing. Growth factor antagonists, such as regorafenib, may interfere with the growth factor and stop the tumor from growing. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as TAS-102, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving panitumumab may work better in treating patients with colorectal cancer than with the usual treatment of regorafenib or TAS-102.
NCT00703677
The goal of this trial is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of lithium in people with progressive supranuclear palsy or corticobasal degeneration.
NCT03451331
This is a randomized phase 2 trial of gemcitabine + carboplatin + nivolumab or gemcitabine + oxaliplatin + nivolumab for the treatment of cisplatin-ineligible patients with metastatic urothelial cancer. Randomization will be stratified on the lymph node only (and/or unresectable primary) metastatic status.
NCT03849118
89Zr-TLX250 is under clinical development as a diagnostic agent targeting clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
NCT05255445
Red Blood Cell - IMProving trAnsfusions for Chronically Transfused recipients (RBC-IMPACT) is an observational cohort study to assess donor, component, and recipient factors that contribute to RBC efficacy in chronically and episodically transfused patients. The objective of the study is to determine how specific genetic and non-genetic factors in donors and recipients may impact RBC survival after transfusion - in short, what factors on both the donor and recipient side may improve the efficacy of the transfusion.
NCT04605484
The purpose of this study is to compare Posoleucel (formerly known as ALVR105; Viralym-M) to placebo in kidney transplant recipients who have high or low levels of BK virus in their blood.
NCT05343143
This is a 10-subject, 12-month follow-up, prospective, multi-center, open-label, single arm clinical trial designed to understand the initial performance characteristics and confirm the safety profile of the NeuraGen 3D Nerve Guide Matrix.
NCT05121376
This is a Phase 1/2, single-arm, open-label, dose-escalation and dose-expansion study of BMN 331 for the treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) due to C1 Esterase Inhibitor (C1-INH) protein deficiency. The study drug BMN 331is identified as AAV5 hSERPING1, an adeno-associated virus (AAV5)-based gene therapy vector that expresses wild-type human C1 Esterase Inhibitor (hC1-INH), under the control of a liver-selective promoter, and is being developed for the treatment of HAE with C1-INH deficiency. The pharmaceutical form of BMN 331 is a solution for intravenous infusion.
NCT02628899
To assess the safety and feasibility of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) with commercially available bioprostheses in patients with severe, symptomatic aortic stenosis (AS) who are low-risk (STS score ≤3%) for surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR).
NCT03001882
The purpose of this study is to explore the possible links between participant characteristics and their cancer, with how effective the combination of nivolumab with ipilimumab is, in participants with Stage IV or recurrent Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).
NCT05079711
The purpose of this study is to establish lay user performance criteria for the SavvyCheck Vaginal Yeast Test in comparison to standard vaginal yeast culture and identification method for Candida (the Reference Method). Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and sequencing of fungi will be used as an aid to explain the nature of the discrepancy in the case of discordant results between the lay user-performed SavvyCheck Vaginal Yeast Test and standard vaginal yeast culture and identification method for Candida.
NCT04345900
To assess the duration of severe neutropenia (DSN) in treatment Cycle 1 in patients treated with docetaxel (75 mg/m2) + plinabulin (5, 10, or 20 mg/m2) or with docetaxel (75 mg/m2) + pegfilgrastim (6 mg). Neutrophils count was to be assessed at baseline (prior to Cycle 1 docetaxel dose) and during Cycle 1 on Days 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 15 (pre-dose on dosing days; times equivalent to pre dose on other days).
NCT02616146
The purpose of this study is to assess the contraceptive efficacy of the etonogestrel + 17β-estradiol (ENG-E2) vaginal ring in women between 18 and 35 years of age based on the number of in-treatment pregnancies as expressed by the Pearl Index (PI). The study will also assess the safety and tolerability of ENG-E2 vaginal ring. The levonorgestrel-ethinyl estradiol (LNG-EE) 150/30 μg combined oral contraceptive (COC) will be used as the active comparator.
