NCT05967195
Individuals with first-episode psychosis (FEP) are at high-risk for several poor functional and clinical outcomes, including suicide. Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) is a multidisciplinary, team-based intervention known to improve such outcomes, including suicide risk. However, 30-50% of patients disengage from CSC, thereby limiting its impact. This pilot study will develop and test feasibility of a behavioral change program that uses moderate financial incentives to encourage treatment engagement in 2 CSC programs. A single-arm of 80 patient-participants at these two clinics will be recruited to assess feasibility and acceptability from patient perspectives. Additionally,15 clinicians at these two clinics will be recruited to assess feasibility and acceptability from clinician perspectives, and 50 clinicians from peer clinics not involved in the intervention will be recruited to assess scalability of the intervention. The trial will feature an three-month period for recruitment and baseline data collection and will subsequently feature three intervention periods (3 months each) where modifications to the interventions will be tested (each informed by the feasibility and acceptability findings of the prior period) with the aim of sequentially improving it.
NCT02932449
This is a 5-year, longitudinal, observational study of patients with PBC designed to specifically address important clinical questions that remain incompletely answered from registration trials. NCT04223778
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a switch to MK-8591A (a fixed dose combination of doravirine and islatravir) in human immunodeficiency virus -1 (HIV-1)-infected participants virologically suppressed on a protocol-specified antiretroviral regimen. The primary hypothesis is that a switch to MK-8591A will be non-inferior to continued treatment with baseline antiretroviral therapy (ART) as assessed by the percentage of participants with HIV-1 ribonucleic acid (RNA) ≥50 copies/mL at Week 48.
NCT04589650
This is a prospective Phase II multi-center study with an initial 16-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled period, followed by two extension periods to assess the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics (PK) of alpelisib in pediatric and adult patients with PIK3CA-related overgrowth spectrum (PROS)
NCT05031910
This clinical trial studies the use of virtual reality technology and three dimensional surgery (3D-surgery) modeling to enhance current treatments in head and neck cancer surgery. Virtual reality 3D-surgery modeling may improve quality of surgical planning and interdisciplinary communication between surgeons and pathologists during the treatment of head and neck squamous cell cancer and ultimately increase the accuracy of planning, the quality of communication, and maximize the outcome patients with head and neck cancer experience throughout treatment.
NCT07234968
Subjects will be randomized into 2 groups (stent or no stent) prior to radical cystectomy with ileal conduit urinary diversion (RCIC). They will follow the standard of care and be enrolled in the study for 12 months post-op. Risk of post-op complications will be analyzed.
NCT07415772
The right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC) is increasingly being targeted with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to reduce anxiety expression; however, there is little mechanistic evidence supporting an optimized treatment protocol. Thus, the objective of the current project is to develop an interleaved TMS/fMRI that can assess the effect of neuromodulatory (potentially therapeutic) TMS protocols on neural and behavioral measures related to anxiety expression. PUBLIC HEALTH RELEVANCE: These results will yield direct evidence that 1 Hz and cTBS modulate brain activity associated with anxiety expression and regulation, thus informing novel TMS based anxiety treatments.
NCT05593029
Demonstrate ability of SEP-363856 to be superior to placebo as an adjunctive therapy to ADT in change from baseline in depressive symptoms (MADRS \& CGI-S) in MDD patients who had an inadequate response to prior ADT therapy.
NCT07415824
The Multiple Sclerosis Implementation Network (MSIN) is a collaboration between the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA), The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. The goal of MSIN is to improve Multiple Sclerosis (MS) care, patient health, and quality of life through the development and support of implementation research and clinical practice collaboration. MSIN brings together healthcare teams, people with MS, and research leaders in MS and implementation science (IS) to learn, share, test, implement, and disseminate innovations that improve MS care, patient health, and quality of life. This ClinicalTrials.gov record pertains to the MSIN Patient Registry, which is a comprehensive database that integrates participants' electronic health records from various providers.
NCT06433219
The purpose of this study is to measure the effect and safety of treatment with tuvusertib combined with either niraparib or lartesertib in participants with epithelial ovarian cancer and to assess any differences between tuvusertib monotherapy and combination therapy. The participants will previously have progressed while treated with a poly ADP ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibitor. The primary objectives of this study are to assess the effect of the treatment in terms of overall response, i.e. whether the tumor disappears, shrinks, remains unchanged, or gets worse and safety in terms of adverse events.
NCT05303064
To compare changes in body mass index (BMI) Z-score following treatment with OLZ/SAM vs olanzapine

NCT06100744
Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a type of arthritis that happens when the body's immune system attacks healthy cells and tissues causing joint pain, stiffness, and swelling. Symptoms can get worse and go away for periods of time. PsA that begins before a patient's 16th birthday is called juvenile PsA (jPsA).This study will evaluate how safe risankizumab is for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis and to assess change in disease symptoms. Risankizumab is being studied for the treatment of jPsA and adalimumab is approved for the treatment of jPsA. Participants are placed in 1 of 2 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 4 chance that participants will be assigned to receive adalimumab. Approximately 40 juvenile participants with jPsA will be enrolled at approximately 30 sites worldwide. Participants will receive risankizumab and adalimumab as subcutaneous (SC) injections based on body weight. At the start of Period 1, participants are randomized to receive risankizumab or adalimumab for 24 weeks. Participants who respond to the study treatment received in Period 1, will continue to receive the same treatment in Period 2 for another 100 weeks. Those with worsening jPsA symptoms in Period 2 will be withdrawn from the study. Participants who receive adalimumab are followed for safety for 70 days after the last study treatment. Participants who receive risankizumab are followed for 140 days after the last study treatment. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care (due to study procedures). Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
