NCT01451463
In individuals with Huntington's disease (HD), chorea may contribute to balance problems and difficulties with walking, sit to stand transfers and stair climbing that in turn may contribute to high fall rates. Xenazine (tetrabenazine) is a monoamine-depleting drug that is commonly used to reduce chorea. The purpose of this study is to compare: 1) spatial and temporal gait measures, 2) performance on functional mobility measures, and 3) amount of daily walking activity before and after administration of Xenazine in individuals with HD. It is hypothesized that the use of Xenazine to decrease chorea will improve functions of 1) gait, 2) sit-to-stand transfers 3) stair climbing and 4) overall daily physical activity and function.
NCT02452892
The purpose of this study is to compare the relative effectiveness of 20 and 60 minutes of Low-Field Magnetic Stimulation in relieving symptoms in patients with major depression who are treatment resistant.
NCT01005173
This study is a non-intervention, multicenter study to address biomarkers of acetaminophen toxicity in children. Specifically, the study will examine acetaminophen (APAP) protein adducts and markers of liver injury in the blood samples of hospitalized children and adolescents who are receiving standard doses of acetaminophen, and children and adolescents who are status post acetaminophen overdose. Ultimately, the data generated from this study will be used to establish second generation biomarkers of acetaminophen toxicity, based on specific adduct proteins, which can be used in future risk assessment studies of children receiving acetaminophen.

NCT00867087
The purpose of this study is to evaluate inotuzumab ozogamicin in combination with rituximab prior to an autologous stem cell transplant (aSCT) in patients with relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
NCT00381797
This phase II trial is studying how well giving bevacizumab together with irinotecan works in treating young patients with recurrent, progressive, or refractory glioma, medulloblastoma, ependymoma, or low grade glioma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Bevacizumab may also stop the growth of glioma by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving bevacizumab together with irinotecan may kill more tumor cells.
NCT00528606
This was a Phase 3, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study conducted in the United States. Subjects with a diagnosis of Dupuytren's contracture in a metacarpophalangeal (MP) or proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint that resulted in a fixed flexion deformity of at least one finger, other than the thumb, that was at least 20° as measured by finger goniometry and was suitable for injection were randomized 2:1 to receive AA4500 0.58 mg or placebo. This study was designed to be part of the larger clinical program, for adult patients with Dupuytren's contracture with a palpable cord, where the data from 2 pivotal Placebo-Controlled studies (AUX-CC-857 (NCT00528606) and AUX-CC-859 (NCT00533273)) and 7 non-pivotal studies were evaluated.
NCT01281254
To determine if AMG 386 plus pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) is superior to placebo plus PLD as measured by progression-free survival (PFS) The hypothesis for this study is that AMG 386 plus PLD will prolong PFS compared to placebo plus PLD in women with recurrent partially platinum sensitive or resistant epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer.
NCT02290691
The purpose of this study is to determine if the administration of flu vaccine using Needle-Free is equivalent to Needle and Syringe administration as measured by laboratory tests of immune response.

NCT01722461
This is a prospective, multi-center, randomized, double-blinded study. Subjects enrolled will be randomly assigned to receive either active treatments for axillary hyperhidrosis with the Ulthera System in both axillas, or sham treatments, also with the Ulthera System but with the energy settings on the device set to deliver no ultrasound energy. Subjects will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio, with 2 subjects randomized to active treatment for every one subject randomized to sham treatment. Subjects will receive 2 study treatments 30 days apart. Subjects and study personnel conducting efficacy measures will be blinded to the assigned treatment groups. The study hypothesis is that subjects in the active treatment group will have a greater reduction in underarm sweating compared to those in the sham group as measured by a quality of life questionnaire. All subjects will undergo follow-up assessments at 14 days and 30 days from the date of their first study treatment, and 14 days, 30 days, 3 months and 6 months from the date of their second study treatment. Subjects in the active treatment group will also undergo follow-up assessments at 9 months and 12 months from the date of their second study treatment.
