NCT04565366
The overall goal of Transforming Research and Clinical Knowledge in Spinal Cord Injury (TRACK-SCI) study is to determine the relationships among the clinical, neuroimaging, cognitive, genetic and proteomic biomarker characteristics of acute traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI). TRACK-SCI seeks to combine high quality care variables with high density physiology data collection to better understand diagnose, characterize, and track the temporal profile of recovery for SCI patients. The Investigators are enrolling patients within 24 hours of injury who present to a TRACK-SCI site with a spinal cord injury that meets eligibility criteria.
NCT04452669
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether inhaled epoprostenol given via a breath actuated delivery system will help improve oxygen levels and treatment outcomes in patients with COVID-19 who are on mechanical ventilation.
NCT05624918
This is a single arm phase II study. All patients will receive 3 cycles of the treatment of nab-paclitaxel (Days 1, 8 and 15), gemcitabine (Days 1, 8 and 15), and TTFields (worn every day for at least 18 hours). Following the initial 3 cycles of gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel/TTFields treatment, patients will undergo restaging by CT or MRI. Patients with stable disease or better will undergo surgery for resection within 8 weeks following completion of initial chemotherapy although enrolling sites are encouraged to perform resection within 4 weeks of Cycle 3 D15 of therapy. If resection yields R0 or R1, patients will begin an additional 3 cycles of gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel/TTFields treatment within 8 weeks of surgery. Based on available literature, it is expected that a percentage of patients will not undergo resection either due to disease progression or due to toxicities/ complications of the neoadjuvant segment of therapy. These patients will be included in the evaluable patients for both co-primary endpoints as well as the secondary endpoints including ORR, adverse events, and OS.
NCT03104699
This is a 2-part trial: a Phase 1, open-label, dose-escalation study in participants with metastatic or locally advanced solid tumors, with a consecutive Phase 2 expansion to evaluate efficacy in participants with recurrent, unresectable, or metastatic (advanced) cervical cancer that has progressed after a platinum-based treatment regimen.
NCT02684006
This is a phase 3 randomized trial evaluating the anti-tumor activity and safety of avelumab in combination with axitinib and of sunitinib monotherapy, administered as first-line treatment, in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma
NCT01853891
With the advent of electricity, light at night has become a ubiquitous part of our society. The main purpose of this study is to determine whether sleeping with dim light (40 lux), the brightness of a night light) in your bedroom for 5 consecutive nights will result in increased markers of inflammation in the blood compared to sleeping in darkness during the night in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). A secondary aim is to examine the effects on insulin sensitivity, other blood proteins, and RNA molecules as a result of sleeping with dim light. RNA molecules are substances in blood that dictate what type of proteins the body should make.
NCT05525520
This phase 2 trial will evaluate the effects of EP547 in subjects with cholestatic pruritus due to Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) or Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC)
NCT04011722
The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the acute safety and effectiveness of the next-generation Navitor (Portico™ NG) Transcatheter Aortic Heart Valve as assessed by the rate of all-cause mortality at 30 days and the rate of moderate or greater paravalvular leak at 30 days in a high or extreme surgical risk patient population to support CE (Conformité Européenne) Mark and FDA approval.
NCT05349721
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of PTC857 treatment in participants diagnosed with ALS.
NCT03535740
The primary purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of brigatinib by confirmed objective response rate (ORR) by response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors \[RECIST\]), in participants with ALK+ locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC whose disease has progressed on therapy with alectinib or ceritinib.
NCT03176134
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of tedizolid phosphate (MK-1986) compared with comparator antibacterial agent in participants from birth to less than 12 years of age with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI).
NCT03729596
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) pharmacodynamics and preliminary antitumor activity of vobramitamab duocarmazine (MGC018) in patients with advanced solid tumors. Patients with solid tumors will be enrolled in the Dose Escalation Phase; Cohort Expansion will include metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN), and melanoma. Patients who do not experience unacceptable toxicity or meet criteria for permanent discontinuation may undergo additional cycles for up to two years. Patients in Cohort Expansion will be followed for survival every 3 months for 2 years following last dose.
NCT03122730
The purpose of the Phase 2a study is to: 1) demonstrate that the estimated VentaProst dose is safe and equivalent in effect to a dose administered via epoprostenol aerosolization by the current off-label-use practice; and 2) demonstrate that an optimum effect can be rapidly obtained with VentaProst titration.
NCT05150704
This is a phase III, multi-center international, single blind randomized controlled trial to test the efficacy of pulsed intravenous (IV) methylprednisolone versus standard therapy on top of maximal support in patients with Acute myocarditis (AM).
NCT05082090
This protocol is designed to study Orthofix regulatory approved and commercially available spine devices to generate Real World Evidence (RWE) of device safety and performance in the treatment of patients with spine injuries and/or disorders following the local medical standard of care. The clinical data generated from this study will support compliance to global regulatory requirements including but not limited to the European Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR) for the applicable devices.
NCT06032559
This hybrid implementation-effectiveness trial will evaluate Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement (MORE) for patients with opioid use disorder receiving methadone treatment (MT). The investigators will also assess barriers and facilitators to integrating MORE into methadone treatment, and evaluate the impact of a sustainable train-the-trainer model on provider burden, intervention fidelity, intervention engagement, and outcomes. Participants will be assigned to a higher intensity MORE implementation strategy, a minimal intensity implementation strategy consisting of a simple, scripted mindfulness practice (SMP) extracted from the MORE treatment manual with minimal training and feedback and no supervision, or methadone treatment as usual (TAU). We aim to: * Examine barriers and facilitators to the implementation of MORE and SMP in MT and evaluate strategies for optimizing training, fidelity, and engagement. * Evaluate the effectiveness and treatment fidelity of a higher intensity MORE implementation strategy versus a lower intensity, scripted mindfulness practice (SMP) implementation strategy as an adjunct to methadone TAU or methadone TAU, only. Outcomes include opioid and other drug use, craving, MT discontinuation, depression, anxiety, and physical pain (secondary outcomes) than patients randomized to TAU.
NCT05954988
This study will assess the safety and tolerability of inhaled LTI-03 in treatment naïve participants with newly diagnosed IPF.
