NCT01982240
The purpose of this study is to confirm that the investigational medication, plecanatide, is safe and effective in treating chronic idiopathic constipation.
NCT00658515
This study will evaluate the potential of RO4607381 to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in stable coronary heart disease patients with recent Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and evaluate the long term safety profile of the drug. Eligible patients in stable condition will be randomized to receive either RO4607381 600mg po or placebo po, daily, together with a background of standard medication for ACS (including aspirin, antihypertensives and statins). The anticipated time on study treatment is 2+ years, and the target sample size is 15,600 individuals.
NCT00697203
This 4 arm study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of RO4607381 when co-administered with pravastatin in patients with low or relatively low HDL-C levels. Patients will be randomised to one of 4 groups to receive either RO4607381 300mg, 600mg or 900mg po daily, or placebo po daily, for 12 weeks. All patients will also receive pravastatin 40mg po daily for 12 weeks. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3 months and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
NCT03379376
This trial determines how well eHealth mindful movement and breathing works to improve outcomes in participants undergoing gynecologic surgery. Supportive therapy, such as eHealth mindful movement and breathing, uses techniques that include gentle movements, breathing, and relaxation techniques which may help participants cope with and improve their surgical experiences.
NCT03294538
The objectives of this study were to evaluate the therapeutic equivalence of the Test formulation, generic Estradiol Vaginal Cream United States Pharmacopoeia (USP), 0.01% (Teva Pharmaceuticals, United States of America) to the marketed product, Estrace® Cream estradiol vaginal cream USP, 0.01% (Warner Chilcott) in participants with atrophic vaginitis; to demonstrate the superiority of the Test and Reference (active) treatments over Placebo (vehicle) cream in participants with atrophic vaginitis; and to compare the safety of Test, Reference, and Placebo treatments in participants with atrophic vaginitis.
NCT02544152
A study of the efficacy and safety of Lubiprostone in subjects diagnosed with IBS-M/IBS-U.
NCT02345252
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the noninferiority of switching to emtricitabine/rilpivirine /tenofovir alafenamide (FTC/RPV/TAF) fixed-dose combination (FDC) as compared to continuing FTC/RPV/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) FDC (FTC/RPV/TDF) in virologically suppressed HIV-1 infected participants.
NCT00597818
The primary purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of three dose levels of cobiprostone as compared to placebo in OA/RA patients treated with an NSAID for 20 months.
NCT01839097
The primary objective of this study is to determine the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) for belinostat when combined with CHOP regimen and establish the recommended belinostat dose for the Phase 3 study.
NCT03064802
A multicenter patient registry was created with aim of documenting how spine and neurosurgeons are utilizing Burst Biologics products along with patient outcomes. These include radiographic measures such as fusion outcome, instrumentation integrity, and clinical outcomes (symptom and function improvement) based on surgeon and patient based outcome assessments.
NCT03811652
To assess safety and tolerability, describe the dose-limiting toxicities, assess the preliminary antitumor activity, determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or the highest protocol-defined dose (maximum administered dose) in the absence of establishing the MTD, and a recommended dose for further evaluation of MEDI7247 in patients with selected advanced or metastatic solid tumor malignancies that have received at least 1 prior line of treatment.
NCT02943564
This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of two doses of rapastinel, 225 milligrams (mg) and 450 mg, compared to placebo adjunctive to antidepressant therapy (ADT) in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) who have a partial response to ADT.
NCT02404220
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety of entospletinib in combination with vincristine (VCR), and dexamethasone (DEX) in adults with previously treated relapsed or refractory B-cell lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). This is a dose escalation study in which after 2 induction cycles participants may be put on maintenance for up to 36 cycles if they have obtained clinical benefit from the treatment.
NCT01565668
This study will evaluate two doses of Quizartinib in patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia who are also FMS-like tyrosine kinase - internal tandem duplication ( FLT3-ITD) positive. Patient will be randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to one of two treatment arms. Both treatment arms will receive Quizartinib but at different doses. The study treatment is taken orally in 28 day cycles until either disease progression occurs or an unacceptable toxicity occurs. In addition to the study assessments to evaluate the disease, blood will be drawn to measure drug levels and biomarkers. Patients will be followed for survival at three month intervals after the end of treatment.
NCT01146834
This phase III randomized trial compares three different peripheral stem cell mobilization regimens for patients with multiple myeloma who have received primary induction therapy or other therapies. Up to 180 patients will be enrolled. Patients eligible for treatment will be randomized to one of the three following mobilization regimens: Arm A = VELCADE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, \& G-CSF Arm B = VELCADE \& G-CSF Arm C = CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE \& G-CSF Arm D = PLERIXAFOR \& G-CSF Arm E = PLERIXAFOR, VELCADE, \& G-CSF
NCT02367014
Phase 1/2, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, multiple ascending dose, placebo-controlled study that enrolled 36 subjects with mitochondrial myopathy associated with genetically confirmed mitochondrial disease to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and preliminary efficacy of MTP-131 in this patient population.

NCT02591355
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a novel therapeutic modality that has seen broad applications for a number of medical indications including those in orthopedics, dentistry, and dermatology. In dermatology, its uses have included treatment of chronic wounds and facial rejuvenation. More recently, anecdotal reports have suggested some efficacy in the treatment of hair loss, but to the best of our knowledge, there has been only one published case series documenting its use for this indication.
