NCT02822508
The objective of this study is to evaluate multiple doses of BLI801 Laxative for safety and efficacy versus placebo in adults experiencing non-idiopathic constipation.
NCT00716976
RATIONALE: Sodium thiosulfate may reduce or prevent hearing loss in young patients receiving cisplatin for cancer. It is not yet known whether sodium thiosulfate is more effective than no additional treatment in preventing hearing loss. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying sodium thiosulfate to see how well it works in preventing hearing loss in young patients receiving cisplatin for newly diagnosed germ cell tumor, hepatoblastoma, medulloblastoma, neuroblastoma, osteosarcoma, or other malignancy.
NCT01946139
This clinical trial studies anal human papillomavirus (HPV) tests in screening for cell changes in the anus in patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Screening tests may help doctors find cancer cells early and plan better treatment for anal cancer. Completing multiple screening tests may help find the best method for detecting cell changes in the anus.
NCT02905240
A double-blind, multicenter, randomized, controlled trial (RCT) that will evaluate the efficacy of a single dose of Autologous Protein Solution (APS) in patients with Osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee.
NCT02834780
The purpose of this study is to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of H3B-6527, and to assess the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of H3B-6527.
NCT04163458
Development of multiple follicles and pregnancy in ovulatory women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation as part of an assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycle.
NCT02772081
This study compared the administration of porcine surfactant (poractant alfa, Curosurf®) through a less invasive method (LISA), using a thin catheter, CHF 6440 (LISACATH®), during non-invasive ventilation (CPAP, NIPPV, BiPAP) with an approved conventional surfactant administration during invasive ventilation followed by rapid extubation in terms of short term and mid-term safety and efficacy in spontaneously breathing preterm neonates who have clinical signs of respiratory distress syndrome (RDS).
NCT00739986
Assessment of the number of days' treatment with semapimod necessary for efficacy, as measured by response rate to CNI-1493 as compared to placebo, in patients with moderate to severe Crohn's disease (CD).
NCT02578797
The purpose of this study is to determine whether daily treatment with apalutamide affects the ventricular repolarization in participants with Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (CRPC)
NCT00634634
Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor that is approved in the first-line treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive or hormone receptor unknown locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Sorafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor and by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of sorafenib when given in combination with letrozole and to see how well they work in treating postmenopausal women with metastatic breast cancer.
NCT03045276
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of behavioral feedback plus economic incentives to promote treatment adherence among a large diverse population of adolescents and young adults (AYA) with kidney transplant (KT) or spina bifida (SB).
NCT04299880
This is an open-label, multi-center, multi-national, non-randomized rollover study designed to allow continued access to napabucasin for patients who have participated in a Boston Biomedical-sponsored study and are being treated with napabucasin (monotherapy or combination) and who are deriving continued clinical benefit in the parent study at the time of closure.
NCT01546766
The basic objective of this project is to test a modification of existing technology for monitoring the responses of the pupil to light as a method for detecting regional losses of function of the retina. The "instrument" consists of a commercially available set of goggles that monitor the eye positions and pupils using infrared light and small cameras. The signals from the monitoring cameras are collected in a computer that records how their pupils have responded to each lighting condition. Because diabetics develop damage initially to certain parts of the retina before they have more serious damage, the ultimate goal of this research is to develop a simple, noninvasive, rapid method for widespread screening of diabetics in order to identify those who may require medical attention and/or therapy for diabetic retinopathy.
NCT05247281
This multicenter, randomized controlled trial will compare the use of NGS and traditional culture in directing antimicrobial treatment for patients with periprosthetic joint infection.
NCT04277546
The purpose of this OLE Study D5272C00002 (Legacy #3151-202-008) is to permit participants who previously enrolled in the double-blind Study D5272C00001 (Legacy #3151-201-008) to receive brazikumab, allowing for long-term observation of safety and efficacy in these participants treated with brazikumab. There are no formal hypotheses to be tested. Safety and efficacy data obtained in this study will be included in regulatory product submissions as appropriate.
NCT02170025
Assessment of the safety, tolerability and early signs of efficacy of three times a day orally administered BAY63-2521 in adult delta F508 homozygous Cystic Fibrosis patients not on treatment with Orkambi
NCT04623996
This study will evaluate preliminary safety and efficacy of TP-0184 to treat anemia when administered to adult patients with Revised International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS-R) low or intermediate risk MDS. The recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) will be determined by the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or maximum administered dose (MAD) in the Phase 1 portion of the study.
NCT03054363
This is a multicenter run-in phase Ib / roll-over phase II study of triple targeted drug combination (HER2-targeted small molecule inhibitor tucatinib, CDK4/6 inhibitor palbociclib and aromatase inhibitor letrozole) as a first or second line of therapy in patients with metastatic hormone receptor positive and HER2-positive breast cancer.
NCT02581891
This study aims to evaluate the optimal use, efficacy, and safety of a Treat-and-Extend regimen with aflibercept in subjects with nAMD.
