NCT01989468
The purpose of this study is to provide 24 - 52 week efficacy, safety and tolerability data, and up to 3-year efficacy, safety and tolerability data in subjects with active Psoriatic Arthritis despite current or previous nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) therapy and/or previous anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) therapy.
NCT02851472
The investigators seek to determine whether providing inhaled nitric oxide (iNO; a vasodilator) will improve the delivery of oxygen to the brain, kidney and intestines of preterm neonates during and after the subject receives a packed red blood cell transfusion (PRBC) for anemia vs. baseline period. The investigators will observe the effect of inhaled nitric oxide vs. placebo at these body sites to determine whether iNO will alter the fractional tissue oxygen extraction. Treatment and control groups will be compared to each other at equivalent epochs as will individual patients before, during and after the PRBC transfusion.
NCT02680158
The purpose of this study is to compare acute tear production produced by the Oculeve Intranasal Lacrimal Neurostimulator with two control devices in participants with aqueous tear deficiency.
NCT01994889
This Phase 3 study will investigate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of an oral daily dose of 20 mg or 80 mg tafamidis meglumine capsules compared to placebo in subjects with either transthyretin genetic variants or wild-type transthyretin resulting in amyloid cardiomyopathy.
NCT01180036
The primary outcome of this study is to determine whether or not the B cell targeting with Rituximab is non-inferior or more effective than Cyclosporine in inducing long term remission of proteinuria.
NCT02669433
This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intepirdine (RVT-101) in patients with dementia with Lewy bodies.
NCT02021929
The main purpose of this clinical trial is to determine the safety and effects of the study drug, sorafenib, in adults diagnosed with hepatopulmonary syndrome (HPS). The study will evaluate how well the drug is tolerated and its effect on the level of oxygen in the blood and the function of the lung vessels.
NCT01211873
The purpose of this study is to look at the safety (what are the side effects)and efficacy (how well does it work) of Dotarem® when used in taking images of the brain / spine. The results will be compared to the results of MRI taken without Dotarem.
NCT01829997
Spine fusion is one of the most common procedures performed in spinal surgery. Several surgical techniques can achieve a solid union, but the intertransverse posterolateral fusion (PLF) is the most widely used. However, complications can develop when the bone graft material used is insufficient to achieve the desired fusion. With its unique properties, nanOss Bioactive 3D can be mixed with bone marrow aspirate (BMA) and autograft bone to obtain new bone growth during the healing process. nanOss Bioactive 3D is approved for use in the U.S., however, additional information is useful to assess its efficacy in the posterolateral spine. The purpose of this study is to assess fusion results in the posterolateral spine using nanOss Bioactive 3D mixed with autograft bone and BMA. It is hypothesized that the use of nanOss Bioactive 3D will result in fusion at 12 months, with CT evidence of bridging trabecular bone, less than 3mm of translational motion, and less than 5 degrees of angular motion.
NCT02147197
This study will evaluate the superiority of ulipristal acetate versus placebo for the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding associated with uterine fibroids
NCT01264718
The Kids' HELP trial rigorously documented that a Parent Mentor intervention results in multiple benefits: more children are insured faster, children's access to healthcare and parental satisfaction improve, quality of well-child care is enhanced, thousands of dollars are saved per child, jobs are created, disparities are eliminated, and the intervention potentially could save our nation billions of dollars.
NCT02960854
A study to evaluate the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of Nivolumab in participants with severe sepsis or septic shock.
NCT03419715
The study is to assess the effectiveness of topically applied bimatoprost in reducing migraine headache frequency, severity, and duration. It will also assess the effect of topical bimatoprost on quality of life.
NCT03721900
The purpose of this study is to measure the amount of ketamine in blood over time in subjects diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and explore the anti-depressive effects of ketamine delivered by transdermal patch.
NCT02687191
This study employs a modified continual reassessment method (mCRM) design to estimate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of PF-05230907, defined as a target toxicity rate of 15% based on treatment emergent thromboembolic and/or ischemic events (TIEs). The mCRM design utilizes Bayesian methodology to continuously learn the dose-toxicity relationship, which is characterized by a parametric model. Subjects with a diagnosis of ICH (determined by computed tomography) will be enrolled in cohorts of 3. The total length of time planned for study participation is approximately 3 months; 6.0 hours for screening, a single dose administration with a 4-day minimum hospital confinement period and follow-up visits through Day 91. Severity of adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) will be graded according to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) version 4.03. All subjects who receive PF-05230907 are evaluable for TIEs. The determination of MTD using mCRM modeling will be based on TIEs which occur through 7 days post-dose (Day 8).
NCT01767519
A study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of BOTOX® or Solifenacin in patients with overactive bladder (OAB) and urinary incontinence.
NCT00168298
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of an intravitreal implant of dexamethasone for the treatment of macular edema associated with retinal vein occlusion.
NCT02568683
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety of ENTO with VCR in participants with relapsed or refractory B-cell NHL.
