Enrollment is open to all eligible patients.
NCT01137253
The investigators are interested in the role of the autonomic nervous system in the regulation of endothelial function among obese hypertensive subjects. In particular, the investigators will study how endothelial function (response to intra-arterial acetylcholine) changes during autonomic withdrawal.
NCT00790816
This study is designed to provide continued access to lapatinib as monotherapy or as part of a combination regimen to cancer subjects who are currently participating in a phase I trial that has met its study objectives.
NCT00698399
This is an observational study examining serum markers in patients who are undergoing either a cadaveric liver transplant or a living related liver transplant.
NCT01953874
The aim of the study is to compare the effects of MV targeted ASV in addition to optimized medical therapy versus optimized medical therapy alone at 6 months in patients with acute decompensated HF. The study will also assess changes in functional parameters, biomarkers, quality of life (QOL), and sleep.
NCT02823951
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the proportion of patients who demonstrate no medical need to discontinue therapy among DMT-naïve patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis after 1 year of treatment with Rebif 44 mcg tiw or with Tecfidera 240 mg bid based on real-world data.
NCT01691807
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the potential drug-drug interactions between ofatumumab and bendamustine in subjects with previously untreated or relapsed indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL).
NCT02243917
This is a multicenter, open-label, Phase 1 study of orally administered CB-5083 in adult subjects with advanced metastatic solid tumors. The study will be conducted in 2 parts: an initial Dose Escalation Phase (Phase 1a) of CB-5083 in subjects with advanced metastatic solid tumors who have progressed or are non-responsive to available therapies and for which no standard therapy exists, followed by a Dose Expansion Phase (Phase 1b) which will include 1 to 4 arms: one arm in subjects with RAS mutated mCRC; optionally, at sponsors discretion, 3 additional arms may be added for subjects with advanced RCC, advanced pNET, or solid tumors with mutations in the RAS-MAPK pathway.
NCT02223598
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability, dose limiting toxicities, and maximum tolerated dose of CB-5083 in subjects with lymphoid hematological malignancies.
NCT01718938
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, incomplete block, three period fixed sequence crossover, multicenter, placebo-controlled study. The study will assess three oral doses of velusetrag (5 mg, 15 mg, and/or 30 mg) or placebo, administered once daily in three periods of 1-week duration each, with a 1-week washout period between treatment periods, in subjects with diabetic or idiopathic gastroparesis. Study 0093 will evaluate the effect of velusetrag in subjects with diabetic or idiopathic gastroparesis by assessing changes in gastric emptying.
NCT01972529
This is a global, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group study using avatrombopag to treat adults with thrombocytopenia associated with liver disease. The study will evaluate avatrombopag in the treatment of thrombocytopenia associated with liver disease prior to an elective procedure to reduce the need for platelet transfusions or any rescue procedure for bleeding due to procedural and post-procedural bleeding complications. Participants will be enrolled into 2 cohorts according to mean baseline platelet count and, within each baseline platelet count cohort will be further stratified by risk of bleeding associated with the elective procedure (low, moderate, or high) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) status (Yes or No).
NCT01092611
The purpose of this long-term follow-up study is to assess the long-term health status of HIV-infected subjects who previously participated in GSK-sponsored trials evaluating the investigational HIV vaccine 732462. This study will provide additional data concerning the long-term benefits/risks associated with vaccination. No vaccine will be administered during the study period. Vaccines were administered during the primary studies.
NCT00115349
The purpose of this study is to determine whether left ventricular function improves more rapidly with deferoxamine (DFO) and deferiprone (L1) combination therapy than with DFO monotherapy in patients with thalassemia and decreased ejection fractions. Secondary aims include evaluating changes in myocardial iron burden using T2\* and estimating the relative incidence and severity of chelator-induced toxicity.
NCT01710293
Many missed and delayed cancer diagnoses result from breakdowns in communication and coordination of abnormal findings suspicious for cancer, which often first emerge in the primary care setting. Delays in the follow-up of abnormal test results persist despite the reliable delivery of test results through the electronic health record. This intervention is the final study in a three-phase project that will develop and test an innovative automated surveillance intervention to improve timely diagnosis and follow-up of five common cancers in primary care practice. The investigators hypothesize that the median time in days from diagnostic clue to follow-up action (e.g. time to colonoscopy examination after am abnormal colon-related test) will be significantly less in the intervention arm than in usual care. The investigators also hypothesize that the proportion of patients receiving appropriate and timely follow-up care will be significantly higher in the intervention arm than in usual care.
NCT03076372
MM-310 is a liposomal formulation of a docetaxel prodrug that targets the EphA2 receptor on cancer cells. Docetaxel is an approved chemotherapeutic drug. This study is a Phase 1 open-label study of MM-310 in patients with solid tumors. In the first part of the study, MM-310 will be assessed as a monotherapy until a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) is established. After an MTD of MM-310 as a monotherapy is established, an expansion cohort and MM-310 in combination with other therapies will be assessed.
NCT02658435
The study aims to provide evidence of retinal safety to support the use of tafenoquine as a potential single dose radical cure treatment for patients with Plasmodium vivax (P. vivax) malaria (i.e., co-administration of a schizonticidal drug with TQ). The study will be conducted as a single masked, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel group design. It will assess retinal changes from baseline using spectral domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fundus auto fluorescence (FAF) at Month 3 (90 days) post-dose in adult healthy volunteers (participants). A placebo control group will be used to compare the results in the TQ group. Interim analysis will be conducted after completing 100 out of 300 participants in TQ group and 50 out of 150 participants in matched placebo.
