NCT03428217
Tthe primary objective of this study is to compare blinded Independent Radiology Committee (IRC)-adjudicated progression free survival (PFS) of patients treated with CB-839 + cabozantinib (CB-Cabo) versus placebo + cabozantinib (Pbo-Cabo) for advanced or metastatic clear-cell RCC (ccRCC).
NCT02399813
This is a single arm Phase 2 study. Stage 1 and 2 of the study are monotherapy evaluations of ADXS11-001 in 31 and 24 participants, respectively with persistent/recurrent, loco-regional or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma (SCCA) of the anorectal canal that have received at least 1 regimen for the treatment of advanced disease.
NCT02278250
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and tolerability of multiple ascending doses of single-agent M4344 administered twice-weekly (BIW), twice daily (BID) or once daily dose schedule in participants with advanced solid tumors. This investigation is a three part study examining M4344 alone and in combination with carboplatin to determine the safety and maximum tolerated dose.
NCT04262232
The Cancer Health Empowerment for Living without Pain (Ca-HELP) is an evidence-based communication tool that empowers and engages patients to communicate effectively with their physicians about pain. The Ca-HELP intervention is rooted in social-cognitive theory which posits that behavior change and maintenance depends largely on individuals' ability and self-efficacy to execute a specific behavior. Ca-HELP coaches patients to ask questions, make requests, and signal distress to their physicians in order to achieve improved pain control. Previous research indicates significant improvement among cancer patients in their self-efficacy to communicate about their pain to their oncologists and reductions in pain misconceptions and pain-related impairment. Although a promising tool among geriatric cancer patients, Ca-HELP is not currently designed for optimal dissemination in rural settings.
NCT02969525
This is a study to evaluate the dose response based on the efficacy, safety and tolerability of bimekizumab in subjects with active psoriatic arthritis.
NCT03190473
Indication for use: "The Svelte DES is indicated for improving coronary luminal diameter in patients with symptomatic heart disease, including patients with non-ST elevation MI due to discrete de novo native coronary artery lesions. The treated lesion length should be less than the nominal stent length with a reference vessel diameter of 2.25 mm - 4.00 mm
NCT01238172
RATIONALE: Eating a diet high in vegetables may slow down disease progression in patients with prostate cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized clinical trial is studying how well diet works in altering disease progression in patients with prostate cancer on active surveillance.
NCT03775512
Prospective, non-randomized, pre-market clinical evaluation of the QDOT MICRO™ Catheter to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness when compared to an historical control performance goal.
NCT03541174
The goal of this clinical trial is to show the blood pressure lowering effect of aprocitentan, a new drug, when added to other anti-hypertensive drugs of patients with difficult to control (resistant) high blood pressure (hypertension), and to show that blood pressure reduction is kept for long period of time.
NCT03479307
To evaluate the efficacy of Bilastine ophthalmic solution 0.6% compared to vehicle and Zaditen (Ketotifen ophthalmic solution 0.025%) for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.
NCT02561988
This is a Phase 1, open-label, dose-escalation study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD) and antineoplastic activity of avapritinib (also known as BLU-285), administered orally (PO), in adult patients with advanced systemic mastocytosis and other relapsed or refractory myeloid malignancies. The study consists of 2 parts:, dose-escalation (Part 1) and expansion (Part 2).
NCT03616834
Phase 2, open-label study that will evaluate the safety, tolerability, antitumor activities.
NCT03443076
This study will assess the relative bioavailability of 500 mg eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) + docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in a self-micro-emulsifying delivery system (SMEDS) formulation compared with a standard omega-3-acid ethyl ester product in healthy men and women.
NCT01316146
The body has different ways of fighting infection and disease. No single way seems perfect for fighting cancer. This research study combines two different ways of fighting disease: antibodies and T cells. Antibodies are proteins that protect the body from diseases caused by germs or toxic substances. They work by binding those germs or substances, which stops them from growing and causing bad effects. T cells, also called T lymphocytes, are special infection-fighting blood cells that can kill other cells, including tumor cells or cells that are infected with germs. Both antibodies and T cells have been used to treat patients with cancers: they both have shown promise, but have not been strong enough to cure most patients. Investigators hope that both will work better together. Investigators have found from previous research that they can put a new gene into T cells that will make them recognize cancer cells and kill them. Investigators now want to see if they can attach a gene to T cells that will help them do a better job at recognizing and killing lymphoma cells. The new gene that investigators will put in T cells makes an antibody called anti-CD30. This antibody sticks to lymphoma cells because of a substance on the outside of the cells called CD30. Anti-CD30 antibodies have been used to treat people with lymphoma, but have not been strong enough to cure most patients. For this study, the anti-CD30 antibody has been changed so that instead of floating free in the blood it is now joined to the T cells. When an antibody is joined to a T cell in this way, it is called a chimeric receptor. These CD30 chimeric receptor-activated T cells seem to kill some of the tumor, but they don't last very long and so their chances of fighting the cancer are unknown.
NCT05423327
Collection of clinical and genetic data to help identify individuals that carry genetic variants of known importance in Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH)
NCT00996970
The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the novel H1Nl influenza (inactivated/killed formulation) vaccine among both HIV-infected and HIV-uninfected persons. The administration of the H1Nl vaccination is not part of the study's procedures, but is being given as part of routine care.
NCT03507452
The purpose of this study is to evaluate, in patients with tumors known to express the protein mesothelin, the following properties of BAY2287411 injection: * safety (to identify, assess, minimize, and appropriately manage the risks associated to the study drug) * tolerability (the degree to which side effects can be tolerated by your body) * maximum tolerated dose * pharmacokinetics (the effect of your body on the study drug) * anti-tumor activity * recommended dose for further clinical development
NCT05209308
A Phase 2 study of Zandelisib with Venetoclax (VEN) and Rituximab (R) in subjects with Relapsed/Refractory CLL.
NCT04512079
Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), has led to unprecedented morbidity and mortality in the modern era. To date, nearly 13 million people have contracted COVID-19, leading to more than 550,000 deaths worldwide. As the number of affected individuals continues to climb, effective strategies for treatment and prevention of the disease are of paramount importance. SARS-CoV-2 is understood to directly invade cells via the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor, which is expressed predominantly in the lungs but also throughout the cardiovascular system. Thus, while acute respiratory distress syndrome remains a feared complication, new thromboembolic disease has emerged as a common and potentially catastrophic manifestation of COVID-19.
NCT02940353
Prospective, single cohort, multi-center study evaluating the TREFOIL concept for the treatment of edentulous or patients with failing mandibular dentition over 5 years. 90 patients (15 per centre) will be included. The subject population is at least 18 years old, in need of an implant restored full prosthesis providing sufficient bone in the interforaminal where a fixed restoration on three implants is regarded as an appropriate treatment solution. The components are TREFOIL treatment concept (implants and framework).
