NCT01806129
This clinical trial studies reproductive health program in patients with cancer. A reproductive health program may improve patients' understanding of reproductive risks and receipt of appropriate treatment to achieve their reproductive health goals.
NCT03442114
The goal of the study is to understand how best to help parents of young children with sickle cell disease and their clinicians have a shared discussion about hydroxyurea (one that takes into account medical evidence and parent values and preferences). The study will compare two methods to help clinicians facilitate this-a clinician pocket guide and a clinician hydroxyurea shared decision making toolkit-in a group of parents of children ages 0-5 with sickle cell disease. The investigators hope that both methods lead to parents reaching a high-quality, well-informed decision. In addition, the team hopes to demonstrate that parents who experience a shared decision will have lower anxiety and decisional uncertainty. The researchers also expect these parents to be more likely to choose hydroxyurea and that their children will have less pain, fewer hospitalizations, better developmental outcomes, and higher quality of life. The project team hopes to show that the toolkit method is easy for clinicians to use and gives parents the support needed to make an informed decision.
NCT04076813
The purpose of this registry is to address optimal platelet inhibition during the early management of MI patients prior to coronary angiography or CABG.
NCT06046066
This study is to assess the MTD and RP2D of NM6603 in adult patients with advanced solid tumors.
NCT06415058
The goal of this study is to compare blood drawn using a device called HemoIV to standard-of-care blood drawn from a vein in the arm or from an IV catheter. The HemoIV is a device that is attached to an IV line. This device allows for blood to be drawn while a patient is receiving IV fluids. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Will the HemoIV device allow blood to be drawn without having to stop IV fluids? * Will the HemoIV device provide the same laboratory results as blood draws done by current standard practice? Participants will: * Receive standard medical procedures and/or treatment; * Have a HemoIV device inserted into their IV line in one arm; * Have an blood drawn twice from the HemoIV and from an IV line or needle stick from a vein in the other arm. The second blood draw will be done about 8-22 hours after the first blood draw; * Have the device removed after the second blood draw; * Receive a phone call about 8 days later to see how you are doing.
NCT03999996
The purpose of this study is to describe antibody persistence for each of the 4 dengue serotypes for up to 63 months after the first vaccination in the primary vaccination series for participants from parent trial DEN-315 (NCT03341637) (Mexico) and for up to 36 months after the first vaccination in the primary vaccination series for participants from parent trial DEN-304 (NCT03423173) (United States \[US\]) and to describe the impact of a tetravalent dengue vaccine (TDV) booster dose vs placebo on antibody response for each of the 4 dengue serotypes at 1 month and 6 months post administration of the TDV booster or placebo.
NCT03956355
This is a randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled Phase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of topical tapinarof cream, 1% once daily for the treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults. Approximately 500 adult subjects with plaque psoriasis will be randomized 2:1 to receive either tapinarof cream, 1% or matching vehicle cream once daily for 12 weeks.
NCT04533451
This trial studies the side effects of pembrolizumab with or without chemotherapy in treating patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer that has come back (recurrent) and has spread to other places in the body (advanced). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as pemetrexed and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving pembrolizumab with or without chemotherapy may shrink the tumor in older patients with non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT04223856
This study is being done to see how well two drugs (enfortumab vedotin and pembrolizumab) work together to treat patients with urothelial cancer. The study will compare these drugs to other drugs that are usually used to treat this cancer (standard of care). The patients in this study will have cancer that has spread from their urinary system to other parts of their body.
NCT05393895
This is a multi-center, double-masked, vehicle-controlled study. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety of CSF-1 compared with vehicle in presbyopic subjects. Subjects will be treated for at least 6 weeks.
NCT05256134
A study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of gantenerumab in amyloid-positive, cognitively unimpaired participants at risk for or at the earliest stages of AD. The planned number of participants for this study is approximately 1200 participants randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either gantenerumab or placebo (600 participants randomized to gantenerumab and 600 participants randomized to placebo).
NCT04088773
This research study will evaluate if specific blood, stool and MRI tests can tell the difference between bowel wall inflammation without scarring and bowel wall inflammation with scarring that can cause bowel blockages requiring surgery.
NCT06137144
This study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK and preliminary efficacy following oral administration of AZD3470 as a monotherapy, and in combination with other anticancer agents in participants with haematologic malignancies.
NCT05680740
This is an open-label, multi-center study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of VTAMA (tapinarof) cream, 1% in adults with intertriginous psoriasis
NCT05269355
This study will compare the efficacy and safety of unesbulin plus dacarbazine versus placebo plus dacarbazine in participants with unresectable or metastatic, relapsed or refractory LMS who have received at least 1 prior line of systemic therapy.
NCT04231266
GNE myopathy is a rare genetic muscle disease characterized by progressive muscle atrophy and weakness. The disease is caused by mutations in the gene that encodes the enzyme that initiates and regulates N-acetylneuraminic acid (Neu5Ac) biosynthesis and glycan sialylation. Currently, there is no therapy available for this disease. N-Acetylmannosamine (ManNAc), an orphan drug in development for GNE myopathy, is an uncharged monosaccharide and the first committed precursor in Neu5Ac biosynthesis. In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial the efficacy and long-term safety of ManNAc will be evaluated in subjects with GNE myopathy.
NCT05797896
An observational study to investigate the natural history and evaluate biomarkers of participants with geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration
NCT05789576
This is an open-label, multi-center study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of VTAMA (tapinarof) cream, 1% in adults with plaque psoriasis occurring in the head and neck region
NCT03094169
