The purpose of this randomized multiple-site clinical study is to determine whether a revised CATCH-IT (Internet-based depression prevention program) is more effective than a general health education Internet intervention (Health Education)on teens ages 13-18 (inclusive). It is hypothesized that teens in CATCH-IT will exhibit lower levels of depressed mood and/or maintain lower depressive scores over 2 years long-term follow up as compared to teens in Health Education group.

This is an open-label study with daily doses up to 144 mg/day Strattera (atomoxetine) in the treatment of adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder not otherwise specified. The researchers hypothesize ADHD symptomatology in adults with ADHD NOS will be responsive to Strattera treatment and Strattera treatment (in doses of up to 120 mg/day or 1.5 mg/kg/day, whichever is less) in adults with ADHD NOS will be safe and well tolerated.

This program will be open to adult patients in the U.S. with Excessive Daytime Sleepiness (EDS) associated with narcolepsy, with or without cataplexy. Pitolisant will be made available through treating physicians participating in the program.

The investigators are doing a research study to find out if riluzole, when taken along with a standard antidepressant (sertraline) can help people with major depression. This research study will compare riluzole + sertraline to placebo + sertraline. The investigators hypothesize that adding riluzole will lead to a better antidepressant response, in less time, then sertraline alone.

This study tests a 12-episode Internet-based, guide enhanced Love, Sex, \& Choices (LSC) HIV prevention soap opera video series for smartphones or computers, in a randomized clinical trial among predominately at-risk African American urban women. The following hypotheses are to be tested: 1) The LSC treatment arm will show lower unprotected sex risk, meaning lower frequency of unprotected sex (vaginal + anal) with high risk partners at 6 months post intervention compared to an attention control arm 2) The LSC treatment arm will show higher participation in HIV testing at 6 months post intervention compared to the control. If effective, this video intervention could be rapidly implemented and brought to scale at low cost via the Internet, widely reaching young urban women with the goal of reducing HIV risk behavior and increasing HIV testing.

The primary aim of this study is to observe if the use of the rapid responds electroencephalography (EEG) system impacts physician decision making. Secondary aims include exploring the safety and performance information of the Ceribell EEG system compared to conventional EEG system. The study will recruit physicians (Faculty physicians and Trainees) at up to five institutions and examine the impact of rapid response EEG when providing care to patients in whom EEG recording has been ordered for clinical reasons.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a combination of a drug, porfimer sodium (Photofrin), which is activated by a light from a laser that emits no heat. This technique works to allow the medical doctor to specifically target and destroy abnormal or cancer cells while limiting damage to surrounding healthy tissue. The activation of the drug is done by lighting the abnormal areas using a fiber optic device (very fine fiber like a fishing line that permits light transmission) inserted into a flexible tube with a light called cholangioscope for the bile duct. The light will activate the porfimer sodium concentrated in the abnormal tissue, leading to its destruction. This research study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of PDT with porfimer sodium administered with Standard Medical Care (SMC) compared to SMC alone on the overall survival time of patients with non-operable advanced cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer of the bile ducts. It will involve 200 patients across North America and Europe. Other countries may participate if needed. Participation will last at least 18 months.

This study seeks to better characterize relationships between visual function and the progression (worsening) of geographic atrophy (GA) due to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The study is also intended to generate new information on the relationship between genetics and GA progression. This is a global, prospective, multicenter, epidemiologic study enrolling participants with GA secondary to AMD. The study visits are scheduled to occur every 6 months. The anticipated duration of the study is up to 48 months. There is a planned interim analysis around the 2-year time window for the study.

This 2 arm safety study will compare the outcome with respect to a composite endpoint of all-cause mortality and non-fatal cardiovascular events (myocardial infarction, stroke) in CKD participants either on dialysis or not receiving renal replacement therapy under treatment with methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta or reference ESAs. Participants will be randomized to receive intravenous (iv) or subcutaneous (sc) methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta at the following doses: for participants not already receiving ESA treatment, methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta will be administered at a starting dose of 0.6 micrograms per kilograms every 2 weeks (mcg/kg/2wks) iv or sc; for participants receiving maintenance ESA treatment, iv or sc methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta will be administered at an initial monthly dose of 120, 200 or 360 micrograms (mcg) depending on the weekly dose of ESA received prior to first methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta administration. Participants randomized to reference ESA treatment will receive iv or sc ESAs in accordance with their prescribed dosing information.
