NCT02605447
The EVOLVE Short DAPT Study is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm study designed to assess the safety of 3-month DAPT in subjects at high risk for bleeding undergoing PCI with a SYNERGY Stent System.
NCT01532362
The primary objective for this trial is to determine the biological ability of apricoxib to decrease T reg cells in the peripheral blood and tumor infiltrating lymphocytes in subjects compared to those who have not in subjects with early stage Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). The secondary objectives are to determine the efficacy of apricoxib to inhibit CD4+CD25+ T reg and FOXP3 function and exploration of COX-2 dependent biomarkers of apoptosis resistance, angiogenesis, invasion, and immunity.
NCT02664922
The purpose of this study is to compare different combinations of anesthetic drugs (cause loss of sensation) in terms of effectiveness, adverse effects, pain relief, and patient comfort for cardiac electrophysiology procedures. In addition, the investigators are studying the different anesthetic combinations to determine the best approach in terms of identification and treatment of arrhythmias.
NCT02357121
This is an open-label pilot, feasibility/exploratory study to evaluate the safety of laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) using Visualase in the focal ablation of prostate tissue and to gather data for the design of future studies. Intra-procedure temperature and concurrent rectal wall thermistor monitoring will be performed for internal validation. Subjects will be monitored for adverse events, and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) questionnaires will be obtained. Post-treatment MRI and biopsies will be obtained to evaluate histologic and radiologic changes. Biomarker (PSA, PCA3 and PHI) kinetics will also be monitored.
NCT01013285
RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Bevacizumab may also stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Giving bevacizumab together with temozolomide and radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying the side effects and how well giving bevacizumab together with temozolomide and external beam radiation therapy works when given as first-line therapy in treating patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme or gliosarcoma.
NCT02015559
This randomized phase II trial studies how well mucoadhesive oral wound rinse works in preventing and treating stomatitis in patients with estrogen receptor (ER)- or progesterone receptor (PR)-positive metastatic or locally recurrent breast cancer that cannot be removed by surgery receiving everolimus. Mucoadhesive oral wound rinse may help prevent symptoms of stomatitis, or mouth sores, in patients receiving everolimus.
NCT02815709
The primary objective is to evaluate the analgesic efficacy of intravenous (IV) oliceridine administered as needed (PRN) compared with placebo in patients with moderate to severe acute postoperative pain after bunionectomy.
NCT02656875
Patients with moderate to severe pain caused by medical conditions or surgery, who require IV opioid therapy may be enrolled in this open label safety study. Patients will be treated with TRV130 by IV bolus, PCA (patient-controlled analgesia) administration, or both, as determined by the investigator, for a duration not to exceed 14 days.
NCT04474405
This early phase 1 study explored the brain uptake, retention, and safety of flortaucipir and obtained preliminary information regarding dosimetry of flortaucipir.
NCT01015768
The purpose of this study is to assess corneal staining and to measure the relative corneal epithelial "barrier" function (the degree to which the cornea can prevent penetration of colored sodium fluorescein dye into the eye) after 8 hours of wear with a known soft contact lens and multipurpose lens care solution combination.
NCT03808688
To evaluate the IOP lowering efficacy of netarsudil ophthalmic solution 0.02% when used as monotherapy or when used concomitantly with other IOP-lowering agents in subjects with elevated IOP due to open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension in a real-world clinical setting. The study is an open-label design. The patients will receive treatment for 12 weeks.
NCT03137069
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of GDC-0853 compared with placebo in participants with Refractory Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) already treated with anti-histamines. Participants have the option to enter the Open-Label Extension (OLE) study after completing the 8-week treatment period.
NCT03040713
This study is designed to assess the usefulness of flortaucipir in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging for subjects diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).
NCT02441283
This was a long-term follow-up study to evaluate the durability of sustained virologic response (SVR), persistence of direct-acting antiviral agent (DAA) resistance, and clinical outcomes for participants who received glecaprevir (ABT-493) and/or pibrentasvir (ABT-530) in prior AbbVie Phase 2 or 3 clinical studies for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.
NCT01196208
The purpose of this study is to provide the option of brentuximab vedotin treatment to eligible patients in studies SGN35-005 and C25001
NCT01913548
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that a sufficient number of iron-overloaded thalassemia (THAL), Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)and Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA) populations with similar duration of chronic transfusion, and age at start of transfusions would be available for a confirmatory study. The study will examine the hypothesis that a chronic inflammatory state in SCD leads to hepcidin- and cytokine-mediated iron withholding within the RES (reticuloendothelial system), lower plasma NTBI (non-transferrin bound iron) levels, less distribution of iron to the heart in SCD.
NCT03249909
Investigate impact of gelling fiber dressings on handling exudate in medium to high exuding wounds
NCT01219699
This is a first-in-man trial, in which BYL719 will be administered to adult patients with advanced solid tumors, whose tumors have an alteration of the PIK3CA gene and whose disease has progressed despite standard therapy or for whom no standard therapy exists. A combination of BYL719 with fulvestrant will also be investigated in post-menopausal patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer whose tumors have an alteration of the PIK3CA gene. The single agent MTD dose expansion cohort and the fulvestrant combination MTD dose expansion cohort will also include ER+/HER2- breast cancer patients whose tumors have the wild type PIK3CA gene
NCT02298322
Study to Evaluate Non-Invasive Subcutaneous Fat Reduction in the Submental Area using Cryolipolysis. Healthy adult men and women with submental skin fold thickness \> 1cm who desire reduction of submental fat.
NCT01983501
The purpose of this study is to determine the maximal tolerated dose (MTD) or recommended dose (RD) and to assess the safety and tolerability of tucatinib (ONT-380) combined with ado-trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) in patients with HER2+ breast cancer.
