NCT02625610
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate superiority of treatment with avelumab versus continuation of first-line chemotherapy.
NCT04911478
The purpose of this study is to assess long-term side effects from subjects who receive an Adicet Bio γδ CAR T cell product. Subjects will join this study once they complete the parent interventional study. No additional study drug will be given, but subjects can receive other therapies for their cancer while they are being followed for long term safety in this study. For a period of 15 years from the first administration of Adicet Bio allogeneic γδ CAR T cell product, subjects will be assessed for long-term safety and survival through collection of data that include safety, efficacy, pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity.
NCT03272165
This is a study of single ascending intravenous doses of MEDI1341 or placebo in up to 48 healthy volunteers, aged 18 to 65 years. The study will include up to 6 planned cohorts; each cohort will comprise 8 participants. Each participant will receive a single 60 minute intravenous infusion of MEDI1341 or placebo and will undergo scheduled assessments over a period of 13 weeks. The main aim of the study is to assess the safety and tolerability of single doses of MEDI1341 in healthy volunteers.
NCT03395704
This study is a Phase 2 multicenter, randomized, placebo controlled, single-blind study. The primary objective of the study is to compare the effect of weekly dosing of LJPC-401 (synthetic human hepcidin) versus placebo on transferrin saturation (TSAT) in an adult hereditary hemochromatosis patient population.
NCT03951077
This study will assess the potential impact of elagolix on disordered pituitary and ovarian hormones in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
NCT01070069
To determine the safety and effectiveness of PEVAR.
NCT01646814
This trial is a Phase 2, randomized, controlled study to compare the degree of mucosal injury after the oral administration of an investigational product, PL2200, and a marketed 325 mg immediate-release aspirin product.
NCT04020042
Ultrasound is widely in uses for vascular, nerve block and sometimes neuraxial block. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the impact of a handheld ultrasound device on the time to complete labor epidural placement and success rate of epidural analgesia in parturients with a wide range of body mass indexes (BMIs). A handheld ultrasound device (Accuro, Rhivanna Medical, Charlottesville, VA) may eliminate the time for equipment setup due to its portability and instant power-up. In addition, it provides a simulated diagram to aid in identifying bone and lumbar spaces. These unique features may be helpful in laboring women with a particular BMI range. We aim to define the usefulness of guidance with a handheld ultrasound in completing labor epidural analgesia in various BMIs. The primary outcome: The time needed to complete epidural placements. Secondary outcomes: * The number of needle insertion attempts, * The rate of success measured by the need to replacements during the labor course for vaginal or cesarean delivery.
NCT04905459
This is a multicenter, observational study with primary endpoints to determine the sensitivity and specificity of two investigational software devices that detect the presence of more than mild diabetic retinopathy (mtmDR) in healthcare settings.
NCT04934397
To assess the effects of partially hydrolyzed whey protein-based infant formula with oligosaccharides on symptoms of formula intolerance in healthy, term infants.
NCT03738423
The primary objective of the study is to assess the efficacy of REGN3500 monotherapy in Atopic dermatitis (AD), as well as understand the dose-response relationship, compared with placebo treatment, in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD. Secondary objectives are to: * Assess the safety and tolerability of subcutaneous (SC) doses of REGN3500 monotherapy in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD * Assess the Pharmacokinetics (PK) of REGN3500 in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD * Assess the immunogenicity of REGN3500 in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD
NCT04201418
To evaluate the effectiveness of patisiran in patients with ATTRv amyloidosis with polyneuropathy who have a V122I or T60A mutation.
NCT01434290
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells. Specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue. Given radiation therapy in different ways may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial studies radiation therapy to see how well it works in treating patients with prostate cancer.
NCT04331080
The purpose of this study is to evaluate effectiveness of Granexin® gel in reducing scar formation in surgical incisional wounds.
NCT04350593
This is an international, multicenter, parallel-group, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, study in hospitalized adult patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, India, Canada, and United Kingdom. The study is evaluating the effect of dapagliflozin 10 milligrams versus placebo, given once daily for 30 days in addition to background local standard of care therapy, on reducing complications and all-cause mortality, or improving clinical recovery.
NCT03007888
Primary Objective: To compare the pharmacokinetics (PK) of single and multiple doses of IPX203 with Immediate release carbidopa-levodopa (IR CD-LD) in subjects with advanced Parkinson's disease (PD). Secondary Objectives: To compare the pharmacodynamics of single and multiple doses of IPX203 with IR CD-LD. To compare the efficacy of IPX203 with IR CD-LD following multiple doses. To evaluate the safety of IPX203.
NCT02660164
The objective of the study is to evaluate, in a blinded fashion, the effectiveness of the Nautilus BrainPulse device when used as an aid in the diagnosis of concussion.
NCT02357810
The purpose of this clinical research study is to learn if pazopanib when given in combination with topotecan can help to control sarcomas. The safety of this drug combination will also be studied. Pazopanib hydrochloride and topotecan hydrochloride may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT02348203
This randomized phase II trial studies the effects of aspirin and zileuton on genes related to tobacco use in current smokers. Aspirin and zileuton may interfere with genes related to tobacco use and may be useful in preventing lung cancer in current smokers.
NCT04264767
Nucleix EpiCheck® tests analyzes the methylation pattern in a panel of DNA methylation biomarkers and determines whether this pattern is consistent with cancer under test or with non-cancer tissue. This study is being performed as part of the development process of the Pan Cancer EpiCheck test which includes the identification of different methylation profiles in various cancer types and healthy controls.
