NCT01418014
The advances in treatment to prevent maternal HIV transmission to neonates have been groundbreaking. As a result, the number of new perinatally-infected children in the U.S. is now small. Subsequent improvements in the treatment of HIV-infected infants and children have been equally remarkable, ensuring that most previously infected American children have survived and are approaching adolescence. In addition, the number of HIV-infected adolescents worldwide is growing substantially in both resource-poor countries and in countries with increasing levels of health care. Therefore, there is a global cohort of children who have been living with HIV infection since birth who are aging into adolescence. Little is definitively known about the impact of HIV infection and its treatment on the maturation process in these children. AMP is a prospective cohort study designed to define the impact of HIV infection and antiretroviral therapy on pre-adolescents and adolescents with perinatal HIV infection. Domains to be investigated include growth and sexual maturation, metabolic risk factors for cardiovascular disease, cardiac function, bone health, neurologic, neurodevelopment, language, hearing and behavioral function, and sexually transmitted infections (STI).
NCT05785754
This is a multicenter, open-label, Phase 1 study to assess the effects of DCSZ11 as a monotherapy and in combination in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The study consists of an Escalation Phase (Phase 1a) and a Dose Expansion/Optimization Phase (Phase 1b).
NCT05518487
An open label, non-randomized pilot study in kidney transplant recipients who received a completed primary series and bivalent booster of mRNA based COVID-19 vaccine and have ≤2500 U/mL SARS-CoV-2 S antibody concentration using the Roche Elecsys(R) anti-RBD assay. Up to 80 participants will be enrolled in this study. Eligible participants will receive a dose of the Sanofi-GSK monovalent (B.1.351) CoV2 preS dTM-AS03 COVID-19 vaccine candidate.. The primary objective is to determine whether a booster dose of the Sanofi-GSK monovalent (B.1.351) CoV2 preS dTM-AS03 COVID-19 vaccine will elicit an increased SARS-CoV-2 antibody response in participants who have failed to maintain an antibody titer \>2500 U/mL (using the Roche Elecsys(R) anti-RBD assay) to 2 or more doses of mRNA based COVID-19 vaccine
NCT05768269
This study is designed to collect long-term safety and survival data from participants previously treated in an eligible Century-sponsored index trial. This is an observational study, and the elements of the study design allow for important follow-up for safety, survival, and the continued evaluation of any late adverse events (AEs) that may appear after treatment with such cellular products. Additionally, collection of persistence data from participants will support the identification of any long-term risks or late AEs that may be causally related to treatment with such cellular products.
NCT03544632
Although other methods (e.g., autologous fat transfer, dermal-/collagen-based fillers) for soft tissue reconstruction exist, each has distinct disadvantages leaving room for improvement in this treatment area. Investigators in the Elisseeff Laboratory (Johns Hopkins University Department of Biomedical Engineering) have recently generated a novel tissue-derived material to create instructive matrices for soft tissue reconstruction called Acellular Adipose Tissue (AAT). This material takes advantage of the inherent bioactivity and unique mechanical properties of subcutaneous adipose tissue. Investigators' preclinical data suggest that AAT is safe for use in small and large animals; investigators' clinical (Phase I) data suggest that AAT is safe for use in humans. These data indicate that a Phase II, dose-escalation study of AAT's safety and efficacy in human subjects is warranted.
NCT03111550
This study is a 6-month, prospective, multicenter, bilateral, randomized clinical investigation of the TECNIS Model ZHR00 and Model ZQR00 IOLs versus the TECNIS Symfony control IOL. The study was conducted at 12 sites in the U.S.A and treated approximately 240 subjects, equally split between the two test groups and the control group.
NCT05463744
The main purpose of this study is to measure the safety and efficacy of insulin efsitora alfa (LY3209590) compared with insulin degludec in participants with type 1 diabetes treated with multiple daily injection therapy.
NCT02612454
The primary objective of the study is to assess the long-term safety of dupilumab in pediatric participants with AD. The secondary objectives of the study are: * To assess the long-term efficacy of dupilumab in pediatric participants with AD * To assess the trough concentrations of functional dupilumab in serum and the immunogenicity in pediatric participants with AD after re-treatment with dupilumab Optional Pre-filled Pen (PFP) Sub-Study in pediatric patients ≥2 to \<12 years of age with AD Co-Primary Objectives are: * To evaluate the pharmacokinetic (PK) of dupilumab PFPs * To evaluate the safety of dupilumab PFPs Secondary Objective is: \- To evaluate the immunogenicity of dupilumab PFPs
NCT04595331
To evaluate long-term safety and effectiveness data of Sculptra Aesthetic beyond the Month 12 duration of the pivotal study 43USSA1812 (NCT04124692) to help characterize the long-term safety and effectiveness profile of the more dilute suspension.
NCT04697784
The purpose of this study is to determine the long-term performance of the TREO Abdominal Stent-Graft as a treatment for patients with Infrarenal Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms or Aorto-iliac Aneurysms.
NCT03045406
Apixaban for the treatment of venous thromboembolism in patients with cancer: a prospective randomized open blinded end-point (PROBE) study
NCT03248492
Some human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) breast cancer patients do not respond or become resistant to current treatment. DS-8201a is a new experimental product that is a combination of an antibody and a drug. It has not yet been approved for use. DS-8201a may slow down tumor growth. This might improve outcomes for these patients.
NCT05561127

NCT05037123
The study utilizes a 3-arm placebo-controlled RCT to study the effectiveness of ketamine in reducing chronic post-mastectomy pain. Participants randomized to the first arm will receive a 0.35 mg/kg dose after induction, followed by a 0.25 mg/kg/hr infusion during surgery (up to a maximum of 6 hours) and continued for 2 hours postoperatively. Participants in the second arm will receive a single dose of 0.6 mg/kg of ketamine in the post-anesthesia care unit, and the final group will serve as the control group and receive saline (no ketamine).
NCT06066502
The goal of this interventional study is to compare standard mechanical ventilation to a lung-stress oriented ventilation strategy in patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). Participants will be ventilated according to one of two different strategies. The main question the study hopes to answer is whether the personalized ventilation strategy helps improve survival.
