This study utilizes multimodal brain imaging to obtain quantitative biomarkers of brain injury and to improve understanding of the biological basis of brain pathology in adolescents with concussion. The aim of this study is to demonstrate that clazosentan, administered as a continuous intravenous infusion at either 5 mg/h or 15 mg/h until Day 14 post aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH), reduces the incidence of cerebral vasospasm-related morbidity and all-cause mortality within 6 weeks post-aSAH treated by endovascular coiling. The primary endpoint of the study is the occurrence of cerebral vasospasm-related morbidity, and mortality of all-causes within 6 weeks post-aSAH, defined by at least one of the following: 1. Death (all causes). 2. New cerebral infarct(s) due to cerebral vasospasm as either the primary or relevant contributing cause, or not adjudicated to be entirely due to causes other than vasospasm. 3. Delayed ischemic neurological deficit (DIND) due to cerebral vasospasm as either the primary or relevant contributing cause, or not adjudicated to be entirely due to causes other than vasospasm. 4. Administration of a valid rescue therapy in the presence of confirmed cerebral vasospasm on angiography (DSA or CTA). An independent Critical Events Committee (CEC) will adjudicate whether or not patients meet the primary endpoint and its individual morbidity components.

Primary hyperparathyroidism is a significant medical and public health problem in the world and affects approximately 100,000 new patients in the United States alone. If left untreated this can lead to renal stones, osteoporosis, fatigue, and depression. The best treatment for primary hyperparathyroidism is surgical parathyroidectomy. However surgical parathyroidectomy can be difficult due to the variant location of the parathyroid glands. Up to 5% of patients leave the operating room without surgical cure. Primary hyperparathyroidism is an ideal disease to investigate intraoperative fluorescent imaging. This would allow surgeons to identify the parathyroid glands and resect the suspicious parathyroid glands. Folate receptor (FR) has been found to be over-expressed in parathyroid tissue and not thyroid issues. An ideal surgical treatment would combine FR-specific fluorescent tracers with intraoperative imaging. It is important to note that FR is expressed only in the proximal tubules of the kidneys, activated macrophages, and in the choroidal plexus. Thus, the false positive detection rate is expected to be extremely low. A group well known to us in the Netherlands has completed a pilot study utilizing a folate-FITC conjugate in 12 patients with ovarian cancer. Another group of investigators in Mayo have subsequently performed this study on 20 more patients without any serious adverse events (personal communication). They report excellent sensitivity and specificity with this technique with only grade 1 side effects (allergic reaction). All side effects reversed when the injection was halted. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to insect bites should not participate (fluorescein is derived from the firefly insect, folate is an essential vitamin). A fluorescent contrast agent (folate-FITC or EC17) will be used to determine if it will localize to the primary tumor nodule(s) or mass(es) of patients undergoing parathyroid surgery.

PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying risk factors for developing blood clots in patients who are undergoing cancer treatment for newly diagnosed gliomas.

This research study is a Phase I clinical trial. Phase I clinical trials test the safety of an investigational drug. Phase I studies also try to define the appropriate dose of the investigational drug to use for further studies. "Investigational" means that the drug is still being studied and that research doctors are trying to find out more about it. It also means that the FDA has not approved brentuximab vedotin for the treatment of GVHD. Currently, corticosteroids are the standard/first line of treatment for people with GVHD. However, some patients do not achieve a good response with steroids and other experience flare-ups while tapering steroid treatment. Corticosteroid treatment has also led to a weakening of the immune system. For this reason, there have been increased attempts by researchers to find other options for the treatment of Graft vs. Host Disease. Brentuximab vedotin is a drug that is FDA approved for the treatment of certain types of cancers, like Hodgkin's lymphoma. Recent research studies have found increased levels of protein called CD30 in people with acute GVHD. Brentuximab vedotin is designed to target CD30. Researchers have never tried to target the CD30 molecule for the treatment of GVHD, but results from other research studies show that it could help slow the growth of your disease. In this research study, we are trying to determine the safest dose of brentuximab vedotin that can be given to patients with GVHD.

The purpose of this prospective registry is to collect real world, post-marketing data on the use of Stryker Target® 360,Target® 2D, and 2nd generation Target® Nano coils for the embolization of ruptured or unruptured intracranial saccular aneurysms. Up to 300 patients (150 in the TARGET 360°/Helical arm and 150 in the New NANO arm) presenting with intracranial aneurysms suitable for coil embolization will be enrolled at up to 20 sites. A post hoc analysis comparing Target® 360° and Target® 2D coil technical and clinical endpoints will be performed.

This multicenter study will enroll approximately 185 participants with metastatic or advanced sarcoma, to assess the effectiveness and safety of IMC-A12 monotherapy for this indication. Participants will be stratified into five tiers according to diagnosis: 1. Ewing's sarcoma/peripheral neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) 2. rhabdomyosarcoma 3. leiomyosarcoma 4. adipocytic sarcoma 5. synovial sarcoma. A total of 85 participants will be enrolled initially, 17 in each tier. Participants will receive single agent IMC-A12 every 2 weeks. A treatment cycle will be defined as 6 weeks, with radiological evaluation at every cycle. Safety and response in the initial 17 participants in each tier will be used to determine whether to extend enrollment to the target total of 37 participants per tier.
