This is an observational study, in which data from people in the United States (US) with chronic kidney disease (CKD) together with type 2 diabetes (T2D) are studied. The participants in this study are already receiving the study treatment finerenone as part of their regular care from their doctors. In observational studies, only observations are made without specified advice or interventions. CKD is a long-term progressive decrease in the kidneys' ability to work properly. In people with T2D, the body does not make enough of a hormone called insulin, or does not use insulin well enough. The resulting high blood sugar levels can cause damage to the kidneys. CKD often occurs together with T2D or as a consequence of T2D. Finerenone works by blocking certain proteins, called mineralocorticoid receptors. By doing this, it may reduce damage to kidneys, heart and blood vessels. Finerenone was recently approved in the US and is now available for doctors to prescribe to people with CKD together with T2D. Consequently, there is a need to collect more information about how finerenone is used, its safety and how well it works under real-world conditions. The main purpose of this study is to collect and describe the characteristics of people with CKD and T2D who are receiving finerenone treatment as prescribed by their doctors. To do this, the researchers will collect data on: * general information of the participants such as age or gender * any other disease or medical condition in the participants * other medications used while taking finerenone. The researchers will also collect data on kidney function and possible heart problems to find out how well finerenone works. Additionally, medical problems possibly related to finerenone treatment will be collected to learn more about how safe finerenone is in real-world use. The data will come from US databases Optum Electronic Health Records (EHR) and OM1 Real-World Data Cloud (RWDC). They will cover the period from July 2021 to May 2023. Only already available data is collected and studied. There are no required visits or tests in this study.

Pre-collected convenient sampling is expected to include 200 patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease stage 5 or end-stage renal disease, including patients who have received regular dialysis. The survey will be conducted with a single questionnaire. There are five questionnaires, including: demographic characteristics, chronic kidney disease prognosis cognition And life-support treatment information questionnaire, short-form recall symptom assessment scale, loss of memory scale and decision-making conflict scale; after the researcher explains, the patient fills in by himself or the researcher fills in after the patient answers. Fatigue is a prevalent adverse event associated with systemic therapy using tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). Meldonium, a fatty acid oxidation inhibitor, modifies the carnitine pathway, a nutrient critical for fat metabolism. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) classified meldonium as a banned substance due to its documented use by athletes aiming to enhance physical performance. In this study, the safety and preliminary efficacy of meldonium in treatment-related fatigue will be assessed.

This is a prospective, open-label trial to assess the efficacy of melanocortin receptor agonist bremelanotide (BMT) when administered with RAAS inhibition therapy after six months in subjects with Type II diabetic nephropathy. After six months of therapy, all subjects will remain in trial for further assessment and undergo a diagnostic renal biopsy to assess the effect of melanocortin therapy on diabetic histopathology at 12 months.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of a single oral dose of fezolinetant and ES259564 (fezolinetant metabolite) in female participants with varying levels of renal impairment (mild, moderate and severe) compared to healthy female participants with normal renal function. This study will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of a single oral dose of fezolinetant in female participants with varying levels of renal impairment (mild, moderate and severe) and healthy female participants with normal renal function. Renal function will be measured by estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) using the modification of diet in renal disease (MDRD) formula: Mild (eGFR 60 to \< 90 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal impairment; moderate (eGFR 30 to \< 60 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal impairment, severe (eGFR \< 30 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal impairment and not on hemodialysis and normal (eGFR ≥ 90 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal function.

The ipilimumab and nivolumab combination is now part of the standard of care for the treatment of melanoma, renal and lung cancer patients. Grade 3/4 adverse events (AEs) occur in 30 to 60% of patients included in clinical trials. Grade 3/4 AEs are more frequently observed (50-60% of patients) in melanoma because ipilimumab is administrated at 3mg/kg in this population. Among these AEs, early detection of immune related AEs is critical to an adequate medical management. In this context, dedicated tools for remote monitoring of these patients are crucial. The investigators developed within the Immucare consortium a simplified medical questionnaire which is addressed weekly to the patients. This questionnaire along with an algorithm gives to the clinician regular feedback on their patients' general symptoms. The investigators herein want to evaluate in a randomized prospective trial the efficacy of this remote monitoring to reduce the time between the start of AE and the reporting to the medical team, which could lead to detect and treat earlier AEs induced by nivolumab and ipilimumab in the melanoma, lung and renal cancer patients' population.

End-stage kidney disease (ESKD) is a significant, expensive health problem. Kidney transplantation improves survival, quality of life, and is much cheaper than dialysis treatment for ESKD. However sometimes kidney transplants from a deceased donor function poorly after surgery, and a period of continued dialysis is needed, a condition known as delayed graft function (DGF). In addition to complicating recovery, DGF can adversely affect long-term kidney function and the health of the recipient. Intravenous fluids given during and after transplantation (usually 0.9% sodium chloride or saline) are critical to preserve kidney transplant function, but there is evidence that 0.9% saline may not be the safest fluid to use due to its high chloride content. BEST Fluids is a randomised controlled trial that aims to find out whether using a balanced low-chloride solution - Plasma-Lyte 148® - as an alternative to normal saline in deceased donor kidney transplantation, will improve kidney transplant function, reduce the impact of DGF, and improve long-term outcomes for patients.

The goal of this clinical trial is to test whether potassium citrate improves skeletal health in adults and children with chronic kidney disease. The main questions it aims to answer are: * To evaluate effects of potassium citrate treatment on bone quality and strength. * To evaluate mechanism(s) underlying the effects of potassium citrate on skeletal health. Participants will be asked to: * provide blood, urine and answer questions about health and diet three times during an 8 months period * undergo advanced bone imaging with high resolution-peripheral quantitative CT scan twice during 8 months * take study pills for 4-6 weeks at the beginning of the study to ensure safety * take either potassium citrate or placebo for 6 months during the blinded portion of the study As part of the study, there will be a run-in period followed by the placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial. Researchers will compare the bone imaging between the potassium citrate and the placebo groups at the end of the study.

Hepatorenal syndrome-acute kidney injury (HRS-AKI), a potentially reversible renal failure, is a serious, rapidly progressing, often fatal, complication of decompensated cirrhosis. Terlipressin is a synthetic vasopressin analogue that acts as a systemic vasoconstrictor via the vascular vasopressin V1 receptors. In HRS-AKI patients the strong V1 receptor-mediated vasoconstrictor activity of terlipressin, particularly in the splanchnic area, increases effective intravascular volume and mean arterial pressure (MAP), ameliorates renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and sympathetic nervous system hyperactivity, and improves renal blood flow. The INFUSE trial will evaluate the use of continuous terlipressin infusion in patients on the liver transplant waiting list with HRS-AKI.

The goal of this open-label, non-randomized clinical trial is to determine what effects, if any, an FDA-approved drug class known as SGLT2 inhibitors (Canagliflozin or INVOKANA) has any protective effects on kidney function in Type 2 diabetes. We are looking for participants 18-80 years of age, who have had a clinical diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes for ≥ 3 years. Participants will be asked to sign a consent and complete a screening visit prior to study entry including the following procedures for this study: Consent and Screening: * Laboratory tests to determine baseline health * Ultrasound to measure kidney size and ensure presence of 2 functioning kidneys Month 0: * Study entry kidney MRI (day 0) * Study entry kidney biopsy (within 30 days of MRI) * Study entry visit for dispensing 100 mg/daily Canagliflozin medication 3 month supply Month 3: * Study visit to dispense remaining 3 months of 100 mg/daily Canagliflozin medication * Review of systems Month 6: * Follow-up kidney MRI * Follow-up kidney biopsy Study participants will also be requested to provide blood and urine samples for biobanking purposes. They will also be provided the opportunity to provide a stool sample at two time points, as well as the option to participate in a related study collecting samples to create induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs). Participants will be compensated for their time and loss of work time, additionally, a nominal additional compensation for optional stool and iPSC samples.
