NCT00056459
To compare treatment with oxaliplatin/5-FU/leucovorin plus vatalanib versus oxaliplatin/5-FU/leucovorin plus placebo in patients with colorectal cancer that has spread to other organs and are seeking first chemotherapy treatment
NCT02275351
The purpose of this study is to characterize the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of topical SM04554 solution (0.15% and 0.25%) applied to the scalp of male subjects with Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA).
NCT02384941
This Phase 3 study was intended to demonstrate superiority of either sotagliflozin high dose or low dose versus placebo on glycosylated hemoglobin A1C (A1C) reduction at Week 24 when used as an adjunct in adult participants with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D) who have inadequate glycemic control with insulin therapy.
NCT01298219
The primary purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of lubiprostone administration in subjects with Opioid-induced Bowel Dysfunction.
NCT02694328
This study will evaluate weight gain of ALKS 3831 compared to olanzapine in adult subjects with schizophrenia.
NCT02459899
The primary objective of this study was to define the dose leading to desirable efficacy, as measured by the change in hemoglobin A1C (A1C) between Baseline and Week 12.
NCT01067781
The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare the safety and immune responses following a two vaccination regimen by transcutaneous immunization with heat-labile enterotoxin of E. coli (LT) patches or Placebo, with or without alcohol swabbing
NCT03267940
The study is being conducted to assess the safety and tolerability of (1) PEGPH20 in combination with CIS and GEM (PEGCISGEM), and (2) PEGPH20 in combination with CIS, GEM, and atezolizumab (PEGCISGEMATEZO) compared with (3) cisplatin and gemcitabine (CISGEM).
NCT01742208
This Phase 2 study was intended to assess the pharmacodynamics (PD), pharmacokinetics (PK), safety and efficacy of sotagliflozin following daily oral administration for 29 days in participants with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM).
NCT02608034
This is a two-part, Phase 1, open-label, multicenter, two-period, one-sequence study to investigate the effect of itraconazole and rifampin on the PK of vemurafenib following multiple 960 milligrams (mg) twice daily (BID) dosing in adult participants with unresectable Stage IIIC or Stage IV metastatic melanoma positive for the BRAF V600 mutation, or other malignant tumor types that harbor a V600-activating mutation of BRAF where the participant has no acceptable standard treatment options.
NCT01781975
Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) results from the autoimmune destruction of insulin-producing ß cells. Although exogenous insulin is widely available, it is not possible for affected individuals to consistently achieve euglycemia with current technology, and thus they are at risk for devastating long-term complications. This phase II study is designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of imatinib mesylate as a novel therapy for new-onset T1DM. Imatinib is a first-in-class tyrosine kinase inhibitor. This study will explore the potential role of short-term therapy with imatinib to induce tolerance and possibly lead to a durable long-term remission of T1DM.
NCT02414165
This is a multicenter, randomized, open-label phase 2/3 study of Toca 511 and Toca FC versus standard of care that comprises Investigator's choice of single agent chemotherapy (lomustine or temozolomide) or bevacizumab administered to subjects undergoing resection for first or second recurrence (including this recurrence) of GBM or AA. Subjects meeting all of the inclusion and none of the exclusion criteria will be randomized prior to surgery in a 1:1 ratio to receive either Toca 511 and Toca FC (Experimental arm, Arm T) or control treatment with one option of standard of care (Arm SOC). Stratification will be done by IDH1 mutation status. A second stratification factor is based on the patient's Karnofsky Performance Score (KPS) (70-80 vs 90-100). Further, to account for potential differences in treatment choices for the control arm in regions, the trial will be stratified by geographical region during the randomization process. NCT02161406
The study hypothesis is that SC abatacept is safe and shows evidence of efficacy (improvement in modified Rodnan score \[mRSS\]) in patients with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (dcScc) compared to matching placebo.
NCT02989415
The aim of this study is to assess the incidence of postoperative pulmonary complications in patients undergoing mechanical ventilation during general anesthesia for robotic surgery, to characterize current practices of mechanical ventilation and to evaluate a possible association between ventilatory parameters and postoperative pulmonary complications.
NCT03100058
This was a dose-finding study that evaluated the change in weight after 24 weeks treatment with 8 different doses of LIK066 compared to placebo in obese or overweight adults, followed by 24 weeks treatment with 2 doses of LIK066 and placebo.
NCT03706248
To compare the sensitivity and specificity estimates of Colvera with that of a commercially available CEA test for detection of recurrent disease in subjects with colorectal cancer that have documented recurrence or no evidence of recurrence by CT.
NCT01978912
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and exploratory efficacy of KTP-001 in subjects with lumbar disc herniation.
NCT01791153
This multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of tocilizumab in participants with GCA. The study will consist of 2 parts: a 52-week double-blind treatment period (Part 1) followed by a 104-week open label long-term follow-up period (Part 2). In Part 1 of the study eligible participants will be randomized to receive either tocilizumab every week (qw) or every 2 weeks (q2w) or placebo for 52 weeks, with tapering oral daily doses of prednisone. After Week 52, participants in remission will stop study treatment and enter long-term follow-up, whereas participants with disease activity or flares will receive open-label tocilizumab or other treatment at the discretion of the investigator for a maximum period of 104 weeks.
NCT01094496
The major purpose of this study is to examine the anti-tumor activity of the CDX-1307 vaccine regimen when it is given before and after bladder cancer surgery. The study will also provide information about the safety of the vaccine regimen when given in combination with chemotherapy, and how it affects the immune systems.
NCT02429167
The purpose of this study is to determine if clinic and home training with a study device will improve a balance deficit. The study device is called Portable Neuromodulation Stimulator (PoNS). The study device will be placed on the tongue to deliver nerve stimulation. The study is testing if use of the study device in conjunction with physical therapy will improve balance and gait in patients suffering from a TBI. The effects of using the device and undergoing therapy will be measured using standardized tests of movement control, gait, headache and other TBI symptoms.
