NCT00839527
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of albiglutide in subjects with type 2 diabetes
NCT00838903
The purpose of this study is to determine if albiglutide is safe and effective in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
NCT00090194
The purpose of this study is to determine if IGIV-C, 10% will be effective in converting a donor-recipient crossmatch status from positive to negative. The crossmatch test is used to determine if the donor tissue and recipient tissue are compatible. The study will also evaluate if IGIV-C, 10% will allow successful kidney transplantation in a patient who otherwise would not be able to receive a transplant. Three dose levels of IGIV-C, 10% will be evaluated to determine what dose level is most effective.
NCT01137669
The purpose of this study is to test the safety of a licensed zoster vaccine, ZOSTAVAX® (Zoster Vaccine Live) in 40 subjects, age 18 years or older, with chronic kidney disease (CKD) who are scheduled to receive a living donor kidney transplant. ZOSTAVAX® is not licensed for use in immunosuppressed persons and in the United States for individuals less than 50 years of age. Subjects will receive either ZOSTAVAX® vaccine or placebo (inactive substance) no less than 4 weeks prior to their kidney transplant. Study procedures include: physical exam, blood samples and documentation of daily temperatures and/or side effects in a diary following vaccination. Participants may be involved in study related procedures for up to 18 months.
NCT00976391
This study will examine the safety and efficacy of albiglutide in combination with insulin glargine as compared with the combination of insulin glargine and preprandial lispro insulin in subjects with type 2 diabetes.
NCT02589236
This will be a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel group study. The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of Cavosonstat (N91115) in adult patients with CF who are homozygous for the F508del-CFTR mutation and being treated with lumacaftor/ivacaftor (Orkambi™).
NCT01257438
The primary purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the FLUENCY® PLUS Endovascular Stent Graft can effectively and safely treat in-stent restenotic lesions in the venous outflow of the Arteriovenous (AV) access circuit of hemodialysis patients with either of the two predominant vascular access types - those with an AV graft and those with an AV fistula.
NCT02543918
The purpose of this study is to compare the body's immune response when vaccines are given alone versus when vaccines are given along with the study drug called ixekizumab. The vaccines protect against pneumonia and tetanus. This study will last about 6 weeks with follow-up at 12 weeks.
NCT01134042
The purpose of the study is to compare the efficacy and safety of fluticasone furoate/vilanterol (GW642444) inhalation powder administered once daily each evening with fluticasone furoate inhalation powder administered alone once daily each evening in adolescent and adult subjects 12 years of age and older with persistent bronchial asthma over a 24-week period.
NCT01431950
A randomised, double-blind, multi-centre study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of two doses of inhaled fluticasone furoate in the treatment of persistent asthma in adults and adolescents currently receiving mid to high strength inhaled corticosteroids.
NCT00108797
This trial is conducted in the United States of America (USA). This study compares the effectiveness and safety of NovoSeven® to FEIBA (FEIBA VH) in haemophilia patients with inhibitors being treated for joint bleeds.
NCT00875563
The Zenith(R) Fenestrated AAA Endovascular Graft Clinical Study is a clinical investigation approved by the US FDA to study the safety and effectiveness of the Zenith(R) Fenestrated AAA Endovascular Graft in the treatment of abdominal aortic and aorto-iliac aneurysms.
NCT00084175
The purpose of this study is to evaluate a five-session Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Disease (HIV/AIDS) group therapy designed specifically for heterosexual men. This therapy is compared to standard HIV/AIDS education, which generally consists of a single session of HIV education.
NCT00033020
The purpose of this study is to test the utilization of incentive values (considerably lower than those typically used in research clinics) to motivate clients to attend treatment and initiate and sustain abstinence.
NCT02668523
The objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Raindrop Near Vision Inlay implanted in bilateral pseudophakes with presbyopia for improvement of near and intermediate vision.
NCT00608855
RATIONALE: Percutaneous cryoablation may help relieve pain caused by bone metastases. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying the side effects and how well percutaneous cryoablation works in treating patients with painful bone metastases.
NCT01469793
This multicenter, open-label, dose-escalating study will assess the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of DMOT4039A in participants with unresectable pancreatic or platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. Cohorts of participants will receive multiple ascending intravenous doses of DMOT4039A.
NCT00027300
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of natalizumab in the treatment of individuals who have been diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (MS). It is hoped that natalizumab will prevent certain types of white blood cells from moving out of the bloodstream into organs, including the brain, that are being damaged by autoimmune disease (a disease in which the body's own immune system attacks certain organs). These white blood cells are thought to cause inflammation that can result in lesions (small areas of damage) in the brain. These lesions are thought to be the cause of relapses and disability in MS.
NCT00318383
The purpose of this study is to determine whether vaccination with NicVAX will result in a higher continuous abstinence rate than vaccination with placebo in smokers who want to quit smoking. In addition, two different formulations and dosing schedules will be studied, to select the dose and dosing schedule which generates the highest level of anti-nicotine antibodies. The primary study period is 12 months, which was extended by amendment to include up to 2 years of observations.
NCT00082485
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of baclofen for the treatment of cocaine dependence.
