NCT02746471
The Reveal LINQ Registry will generate reliable long-term "real world" data of product performance, economic valuation, site-of-service procedural information.
NCT04321811
Background: During the current COVID-19 pandemic there is urgent need for information about the natural history of the infection in non-hospitalized patients, including the severity and duration of symptoms, and outcome from early in the infection, among different subgroups of patients. In addition, a large, real-world data registry can provide information about how different concomitant medications may differentially affect symptoms among patient subgroups. Such information can be invaluable for clinicians managing chronic diseases during this pandemic, as well as identify interventions undertaken in a naturalistic setting that have differential effects. Such factors may include patient diet, over the counter or prescription medications, and herbal and alternative treatments, among others. Identifying the natural disease history in patients from different demographic and disease subgroups will be important for identifying at-risk patients and effectiveness of interventions undertaken in the community. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand at the population level the symptomatic course of known or suspected COVID-19 patients while sheltering-in-place or under quarantine. Symptoms will be measured using a daily report derived from the CTCAE-PRO as well as free response. Outcomes will be assessed based on the duration and severity of infection, hospitalization, lost-to-follow-up, or death. As a patient-centric registry, patients themselves may propose, suggest, and/or submit evidence or ideas for relevant collection.
NCT02088931
The purpose of this study is to test the safety of the experimental therapy of a single infusion of Regulatory T cells (Tregs). The investigators want to find out what effects, good or bad, Tregs will have on the kidney transplant patients. There are different types of T cells. This study uses Regulatory T cells (Tregs), which are found in the blood and are part of the immune system that stops other immune cells from working. Tregs help to turn off the immune system after other immune cells have finished tackling outside infections, and Tregs keep the immune system in check so that the body does not attack itself. The researchers are hoping that, by giving an infusion of Tregs that the attack on the kidney can be stopped and kidney function will be stabilized. It is not known if the Treg experimental therapy can stop the inflammation in the kidney. In this study, the researchers will take some of Tregs from the patient, multiply them in the laboratory, and then infuse them back into the patient. The procedure used to multiply Tregs is an experimental process performed in the laboratory. Similar procedures done with mice have been shown to reverse inflammation but it is not known whether the results will be the same in humans. This therapy has not yet been done in humans outside of a research study.
NCT05021172
This clinical trial assesses the feasibility and acceptability of a smarter screening intervention for breast and colorectal cancer in older adults. This study aims to learn more about how to support patients and physicians in making cancer screening decisions for older adults.
NCT01452854
The purpose of this study is to look at how a chemotherapy treatment (Temozolomide, also called Temodar) affects the process of ovarian aging which is measured by a decline in ovarian follicle count, in patients with Low Grade Glioma (LGG). It is important to know if different patient factors and Temozolomide influence the rate of ovarian aging in women with LGG who have good long-term survival rates. This will allow better counseling about the effects of this particular chemotherapy agent on fertility in women.
NCT05447637
This registry is for men who have prostate cancer and have had multigene panel hereditary testing. The registry will gather data on genetic testing results and how that information may change physician treatment or follow up recommendations. It will also gather data on the patient's experience with genetic testing, through a post-test survey to be completed 60-90days after results have been received and discussed with their provider.
NCT01085084
The study aims to evaluate the safety and clinical effect of daily oral treatment with laquinimod capsules (0.5 milligrams \[mg\] and 1 mg) in participants with active lupus arthritis. Laquinimod is a novel immunomodulating drug which is currently in advanced stages of development by Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd. for Multiple Sclerosis.
NCT04874077
Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is the leading cause of disability worldwide. Depression and anxiety disorders are among the most prevalent of all mental disorders, with an estimated annual prevalence of 9.7% and 18.1% respectively. It has been known for the last 100 years that depression and anxiety both likely affect vocal acoustic properties. In 1921, Emil Kraepelin, characterized depressed patient's voices as having a lower pitch, lower volume, lower rate of speech, more monotony of prosody as well as more hesitations, stuttering, and whispering. Mechanistically, it is possible that the neural circuitry involved in the pathophysiology of mood and anxiety disorders impinge upon the neural circuit involved in speech production, affecting qualities that include rate, prosody, speech latency and other paralinguistic features. Thus, acoustic features of speech may be one of the more readily accessible biomarkers for these conditions. Given this understanding, the investigators sought to develop a passive vocal biomarker instrument for depression and anxiety screening that could markedly expand access as well as standardize the quality of screening in primary care settings.
NCT03105128
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of risankizumab versus placebo during induction therapy in participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD).
NCT01306331
This is a research study of a new experimental vaginal gel that helps in vaginal pH regulation and results in immobilization of spermatozoa by maintaining the normally low vaginal pH, even in the presence of semen. This vaginal gel is called Phexxi™ (previously known as Amphora) and was compared to a commercially available spermicide called Conceptrol®, which contains nonoxynol 9; commonly abbreviated as N-9. Conceptrol® can help prevent pregnancy. This study objective was to determine if this product prevents pregnancy when inserted into the vagina before intercourse.
NCT01034631
The purpose of this study is to determine whether BNC105P in combination with/following everolimus is effective in the treatment of progressive metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma following prior tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
NCT03301168
This study will evaluate pediatric patients with malignant or non-malignant blood cell disorders who are having a blood stem cell transplant depleted of T cell receptor (TCR) alfa and beta cells that comes from a partially matched family donor. The study will assess whether immune cells, called T cells, from the family donor, that are specially grown in the laboratory and given back to the patient along with the stem cell transplant can help the immune system recover faster after transplant. As a safety measure these T cells have been programmed with a self-destruct switch so that they can be destroyed if they start to react against tissues (graft versus host disease).
NCT04320745
This study will evaluate the effect of a once daily Androderm® dose on Blood Pressure (BP) in adult hypogonadal men as measured by 24-hour ABPM.
NCT01681433
This Phase II study has been designed to evaluate the anti-tumor effects of adding OGX-427 to continuing abiraterone acetate and prednisone treatment in men with metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC) who have prostate-specific antigen (PSA) progression
NCT04346537
The objective of this study is it to confirm the safety and effectiveness of the INGEVITY+ Active Fixation Pace/Sense Lead.
NCT04016779
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of SPN-812 (Viloxazine extended-release capsules; 200-600 mg) in adults 18-65 years of age with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
NCT02340221
This international, multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study is designed to compare the efficacy and safety of taselisib + fulvestrant with that of placebo + fulvestrant in postmenopausal women with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2)-negative, oncogene that encodes for phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase (PIK3CA)-mutant, unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer after recurrence or progression during or after an aromatase inhibitor (AI) therapy. There will be a 2:1 randomization to the taselisib arm versus the placebo arm. Enrollment will be enriched for participants with PIK3CA mutant tumors via central testing. The anticipated duration of the study is approximately 3.5 years.
NCT01744223
This study will evaluate patients with blood cell cancers who are going to have an allogeneic (donor) blood stem cell transplant from a partially matched relative. The research study will test whether immune cells, called T cells, which come from the donor relative and are specially grown in the laboratory and then given back to the patient along with the stem cell transplant (T cell addback), can help the immune system recover faster after the transplant. As a safety measure, these T cells have been "programmed" with a "self-destruct switch" so that if, after they have been given to the patient, the T cells start to react against the tissues (called "graft versus host" disease, GVHD), the T cells can be destroyed.
NCT00779324
