Key finding: Across six- months of GLP-1 treatment, participants reported statistically significant improvements in mental health, eating disorder symptoms, and health-related quality of life domains such as pain interference and sleep quality. Message for readers: Although GLP-1 medicines are prescribed primarily for weight loss and metabolic health benefits, growing evidence suggests that these medicines may also facilitate meaningful improvements in mental health and quality of life.

The main purpose of this study is to evaulate the efficacy and safety of galcanezumab in participants 6 to 17 years of age for the preventive treatment of episodic migraine. The primary objective is to demonstrate the superiority of galcanezumab versus placebo in the reduction of monthly migraine headache days across the 3-month double-blind treatment period.

This is a study in adults with various types of advanced cancer. The purpose of the study is to test a medicine called BI 754091 in combination with several other cancer medicines. BI 754091 is an immunotherapy. This means it may help the immune system fight cancer. Such therapies are also called immune checkpoint inhibitors. How long the participants are in the study depends on whether they benefit from treatment and whether they experience unacceptable side effects. The participants are put into different groups. Each group receives BI 754091 in combination with another medicine. The doctors check whether the tumors shrink or disappear. The doctors also check the general health of the participants.

This phase II/III trial studies the best dose of duloxetine and how well it works in preventing pain, tingling, and numbness (peripheral neuropathy) caused by treatment with oxaliplatin in patients with stage II-III colorectal cancer. Duloxetine increases the amount of certain chemicals in the brain that help relieve depression and pain. Giving duloxetine in patients undergoing treatment with oxaliplatin for colorectal cancer may help prevent peripheral neuropathy.

This phase II trial compares the effect of treatment with palbociclib alone to treatment with palbociclib plus cemiplimab for treating patients with dedifferentiated liposarcoma that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced). Palbociclib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Cemiplimab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. The combination of these two drugs may be more effective in shrinking or stabilizing advanced dedifferentiated liposarcoma compared to palbociclib alone.

This is a Phase 1/2, multi-center, open-label basket study designed to evaluate the safety and anti-tumor activity of IDE196 in patients with solid tumors harboring GNAQ or GNA11 (GNAQ/11) mutations or PRKC fusions, including metastatic uveal melanoma (MUM), cutaneous melanoma, colorectal cancer, and other solid tumors. Phase 1 (dose escalation - monotherapy) will assess safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of IDE196 via standard dose escalation scheme and determine the recommended Phase 2 dose. Safety and anti-tumor activity will be assessed in the Phase 2 (dose expansion) part of the study. Phase 1 (dose escalation - binimetib combination) will assess safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of IDE196 and binimetinib via standard dose escalation scheme and determine the recommended Phase 2 dose. Safety and anti-tumor activity will be assessed in the Phase 2 (dose expansion) part of the study. Phase 1 (dose escalation - crizotinib combination) will assess safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of IDE196 and crizotinib via standard dose escalation scheme and determine the recommended Phase 2 dose. The primary objective of this trial is to compare the safety and efficacy of the SINOMED BuMA Supreme biodegradable coronary stent in patients with up to 3 coronary lesions to either the XIENCE or Promus durable polymer coronary stents. This prospective, global, multi-center, randomized 2:1, single blind study will enroll up to 1632 subjects at up to 130 investigational sites in North America, Japan, and Europe. Subjects will have clinical follow-up in-hospital and at 30 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 2, 3, 4, and 5 years.

BOLD-100 is an intravenously administered sterile solution containing the ruthenium-based small molecule. BOLD-100 has been shown to preferentially decrease the expression of GRP78 in tumour cells and ER stressed cells when compared to normal cells. BOLD-100 will be combined with cytotoxic FOLFOX chemotherapy in this study, with a dose escalation cohort to ensure tolerability and safety, followed by a cohort expansion phase.

This study will have two parts. The main aims are to: * check the side effects from mezagitamab. * check for long-term side effects from mezagitamab. Before starting the study, participants will be asked to provide a 24-hour urine sample. A few weeks later, if enrolled they will begin receiving a subcutaneous injection (under the skin) of mezagitamab once a week for 8 weeks then once every 2 weeks for 16 weeks. When treatment has ended, there will be a 24-week follow-up period. Participants who receive benefit from the treatment may continue in the second part of the study where they will be monitored for up to 96 weeks and possibly retreated for another 24 weeks.

This observational study aims to assess recovery of the immune system and immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases in children, adolescents, and young adults who recently completed treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Several children's hospitals in the United States are participating in the study, which will enroll up to 100 pediatric participants. The study is intended to determine the rate of infection after leukemia treatment and to inform future studies and recommendations about whether children and adolescents who have leukemia should receive additional vaccine doses or boosters after treatment.
