In this study, we will evaluate clinical activity, safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and immunogenicity of 5 LY2525623 dosing groups compared to placebo in adults with plaque psoriasis.
NCT00744237
This study will evaluate the effects of nebivolol on glycemic control compared with metoprolol and HCTZ in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus
NCT00057720
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate superiority in survival in favor of TLK286 as compared to active control therapy with Doxil/Caelyx or Hycamtin in the intent-to-treat (ITT) populations.
NCT00195715
To evaluate the long-term maintenance of response, safety and tolerability of repeated administration of adalimumab in subjects with Crohn's disease who participated in and successfully completed Protocol M02-404 or Protocol M04-691.
NCT01055106
The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of GW05 administered in 3 regimens versus metronidazole 0.75% for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis.
NCT00804986
A multicenter, multinational, randomized,double-blind, placebo-controlled study in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). Patients with inadequate glycemic control using diet and exercise alone, or in combination with metformin, will be enrolled. The primary objective of this study is to test the hypothesis that LY2428757 given to patients with T2DM inadequately controlled with diet and exercise alone, or metformin monotherapy, produces a significant decrease in the mean hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) from baseline to endpoint at 12 weeks as compared to placebo. Trial consists of 12 weeks of double-blind treatment and 4-week safety follow-up.
NCT00757237
The purpose of this study was to assess the comparative safety and effectiveness of aztreonam for inhalation solution versus tobramycin inhalation solution in adult and pediatric patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) and pulmonary Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) infection.
NCT00040638
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of TLK286 in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT00047801
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness and safety of TLK286 given intravenously once every three weeks in combination with docetaxel (Taxotere) in the treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer that is resistant to platinum-based chemotherapy.
NCT00768339
AEG35156 has shown early evidence of activity in patients with advanced indolent B-cell lymphomas in Phase 1 trials and merits further evaluation in this disease. This trial is designed to determine the recommended dose of AEG35156 in patients with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and indolent B-cell lymphomas.
NCT00044356
The purpose of this clinical trial is to determine if Allovectin-7®, an experimental gene-based immunotherapy, can shrink melanoma tumors. The trial will also examine if this treatment can improve the time to disease progression.
NCT00725881
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics of multiple, once-daily, intravenous doses of trans sodium crocetinate (TSC). The effectiveness of TSC in alleviating the symptoms of intermittent claudication (IC) will also be assessed.
NCT01401335
The investigators propose a prospective single arm pilot cohort study of 100 youth (ages 15-25) to evaluate the feasibility of this project. A convenience sample of subjects will be enrolled on a voluntary basis from those who come to the day care center located in Nyanza, a district of the Southern province, in Rwanda.
NCT00040677
ICA-17043 is being developed for the chronic treatment of patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) in both adults and children. ICA-17043 is a potent and specific inhibitor of a channel in human red blood cells (RBCs) that blocks RBC dehydration. ICA-17043 is expected to inhibit RBC dehydration and thus should prevent or delay the sickling process. By reducing sickled cells, an improvement in anemia, a reduction in painful crises, and ultimately, less end-organ disease is anticipated.
NCT00089427
This Phase 1 study in patients with newly diagnosed malignant glioma is designed to determine the highest dose of IL13-PE38QQR that can be safely administered by Convection Enhanced Delivery (CED) to the area around the tumor site after the tumor is surgically removed (resection). In addition, the patient will receive radiation therapy and may or may not be treated with oral temozolomide.
NCT00112619
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as topotecan, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects, best way to give, and best dose of topotecan when given by intraventricular infusion in treating young patients with neoplastic meningitis due to leukemia, lymphoma, or solid tumors.
NCT00616980
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of intramuscular injections of adult stem cells in patients with Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI).
NCT01104493
To assess the safety of a new influenza virus vaccine containing a new virus strain in healthy patients prior to the release of the vaccine.
NCT00873912
This prospective annual release study was designed to assess the safety of a monovalent influenza virus vaccine using a new strain recommended for the 2009-2010 influenza season not previously contained in the trivalent intranasal FluMist vaccine. Three hundred healthy adults received a single dose of vaccine or placebo and were followed for 180 days.
NCT00369447
This is a Phase I-II study designed to investigate nimotuzumab (TheraCIM h-R3) in combination with external radiation in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. The purpose of the Phase I portion of the study is to evaluate the safety and feasibility of the administration of nimotuzumab with palliative radiation in patients who are unsuitable for radical therapy and to select the optimal dose for the Phase II component of the study. The primary objective for the Phase II portion of the study is to examine the efficacy of this combination treatment. The Phase I component of this study has been completed. The Phase II is now closed to recruitment.
