NCT02367820
The purpose of this 52-week open label study is to determine the long-term safety of a new opioid molecule, NKTR-181, in patients with moderate to severe chronic low back pain or chronic non-cancer pain.
NCT02898701
This study contains two pilot studies: 1) one study will investigate practice dosage of a postural stepping task in healthy young individuals in order to determine an operational definition of performance plateau, and 2) the other study will investigate whether practicing beyond reaching a performance plateau improves learning of a postural stepping task in healthy older adults, compared to discontinuing practice immediately after reaching a performance plateau. The investigators hypothesize that the group that continues to practice beyond reaching their performance plateau will learn and retain the motor task better than the other group.
NCT00334958
To evaluate the effect of rufinamide on total partial seizure frequency in adolescent and adult participants (12 to 80 years, inclusive) with refractory partial onset seizures maintained on a maximum of 3 stable antiepileptic drugs (AEDs).
NCT02998541
The purpose of this study is to determine if an investigational treatment is effective compared with placebo and PVP-Iodine in the treatment of adults and children with adenoviral conjunctivitis.
NCT00446849
To evaluate the percentage of subjects with clinical recurrence of UC at 6 months using MMX mesalamine once daily.
NCT03084796
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the dose-response of different doses of CHF 5259 pMDI on lung function and other clinical outcomes, to identify the optimal dose(s) in terms of benefit/ risk ratio for further development in the target subject population.
NCT00764868
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety of LDX administered as a daily morning dose (30, 50, and 70 mg/day) in the treatment of adolescents (13-17 years of age inclusive at the time of consent).
NCT01132807
This phase II trial studies how well chemotherapy based on positron emission tomography (PET) scan works in treating patients with stage I or stage II Hodgkin lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more cancer cells. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill cancer cells. Giving combination chemotherapy together with radiation therapy may kill more cancer cells and allow doctors to save the part of the body where the cancer started. Comparing results of diagnostic procedures, such as PET scan, done before, during, and after chemotherapy may help doctors predict a patient's response to treatment and help plan the best treatment.
NCT00734578
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of SPD503 in subjects with ADHD when co-administered with psychostimulants in children and adolescents aged 6-17 years with a diagnosis of ADHD with a sub-optimal, partial response to stimulants.
NCT02926937
Primary Objective: To demonstrate the superiority of Sotagliflozin 400 milligrams (mg) versus placebo on hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) reduction in participants with type 2 diabetes (T2D) who have inadequate glycemic control on diet and exercise. Secondary Objectives: * To compare Sotagliflozin 400 mg versus placebo based on: * Change from baseline in 2-hour postprandial glucose (PPG) following a mixed meal. * Change from baseline in fasting plasma glucose (FPG). * Change from baseline in systolic blood pressure (SBP) for participants with baseline SBP ≥130 millimeter per mercury (mmHg). * Change from baseline in SBP for all participants. * Change from baseline in body weight. * Proportion of participants with HbA1c \<6.5%, \<7.0%. * To compare Sotagliflozin 200 mg versus placebo based on: * Change from baseline in HbA1c. * Change from baseline in 2-hour postprandial glucose (PPG) following a mixed meal. * Change from baseline in body weight. * Change from baseline in SBP for all participants. * To evaluate the safety of Sotagliflozin 400 and 200 mg versus placebo.
NCT00545740
The purpose of this study is to determine whether SPD476 is effective in reducing recurrence of diverticulitis.
NCT02137239
Patients who undergo a kidney transplant require prolonged therapy with drugs that suppress the immune system (called immunosuppressive regimens) to stop the immune system from attacking the transplanted kidney in order to limit damage to or the possibility of rejecting the transplanted kidney. The purpose of this study is to evaluate benefits and risks of two immunosuppressive regimens (belatacept with everolimus or tacrolimus with mycophenolate mofetil) following thymoglobulin induction and rapid corticosteroid withdrawal.
NCT02047604
A Study to Evaluate the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Efficacy of Escalating Doses of SAN-300 in Patients with Active Rheumatoid Arthritis with Inadequate Response to Disease-Modifying Anti-rheumatic Drug(s).
NCT03230175
It is hypothesized that application of the human placental umbilical cord tissue TTAX01 to the surface of a well debrided, complex diabetic foot ulcer will, with concomitant management of infection, result in a higher proportion of wounds showing complete healing within 16 weeks of initiating therapy.
NCT01817075
This randomized phase III trial studies chlorhexidine gluconate cleansing to see how well it works compared to control cleansing in preventing central line associated bloodstream infection and acquisition of multi-drug resistant organisms in younger patients with cancer or undergoing donor stem cell transplant. Chlorhexidine gluconate may help reduce bloodstream infections and bacterial infections associated with the central line.
NCT02075047
The purpose of this study is to determine if ziprasidone is safe and effective for the treatment of children and adolescents (ages 10-17) with bipolar I disorder (manic or mixed).
NCT04699903
Prospective, multi-center, observational, blinded clinical trial to compare a new point of care (POC) SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody test to a reference SARS-CoV-2 PCR test using fingerstick whole blood.
NCT03425799
The purpose of this study is to see if Tranexamic Acid can safely reduce bleeding in people undergoing spinal fusion surgery.
NCT03214588
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of TAK-831 versus placebo on upper extremity (arm and hands) motor function and manual dexterity. This study will also evaluate the efficacy of TAK-831 versus placebo on activities of daily living (ADL) and other secondary assessments.
NCT02785250
T cell activating therapy DPX-Survivac, low dose oral cyclophosphamide, and IDO1 inhibitor epacadostat will be tested together for the first time in patients with recurrent ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer to determine the safety and potential immune-modulating activity of the combination of these agents.
