NCT05349721
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of PTC857 treatment in participants diagnosed with ALS.
NCT04539002
This is a clinical trial to determine the feasibility of a stationary aerobic cycling intervention and explore if aerobic exercise independently promotes remyelination in people with multiple sclerosis (MS).
NCT06072859
The purpose of the study is to learn about the ease of using a humidified fragrant citrus forest oil, along with a virtual simulation of a forest environment (i.e., with sights and sounds of nature using a personal tablet Surface Pro 3 with headphones, to learn more about how these two aspects of the simulated forest immersion therapy (SFIT) may improve pain, anxiety, blood-pressure, and heart rate related to Axial Spondyloarthritis. The investigators hope to learn how well SFIT may impact pain levels, feelings of calm, as well as blood- pressure and heart rate, and how participants tolerate the experience overall.
NCT05988996
The goal of this observational study is to learn the impact of race, ethnicity, and language matched peer support groups on parental stress, anxiety, and sense of belonging for families who have or have had an infant hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The main questions aim to answer: Do race, ethnicity, and language matched peer support groups decrease parental stress and anxiety and improve sense of belonging of parents while their baby is hospitalized in the NICU? And, are there any changes that should be made to the format of the peer support group sessions? Participants will be invited to attend a peer support group that is matched for race, ethnicity, and language. Participants will have the option of filling out a survey on stress, anxiety, and sense of belonging before and after the peer group session. Additionally, participants will have the option of filling out a satisfaction survey after the peer group session.
NCT04011722
The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the acute safety and effectiveness of the next-generation Navitor (Portico™ NG) Transcatheter Aortic Heart Valve as assessed by the rate of all-cause mortality at 30 days and the rate of moderate or greater paravalvular leak at 30 days in a high or extreme surgical risk patient population to support CE (Conformité Européenne) Mark and FDA approval.
NCT03535740
The primary purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of brigatinib by confirmed objective response rate (ORR) by response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors \[RECIST\]), in participants with ALK+ locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC whose disease has progressed on therapy with alectinib or ceritinib.
NCT05906628
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ruxolitinib cream in adult participants with diagnosis of chronic hand eczema (CHE) and moderate to severe disease activity (Investigator's Global Assessement (IGA) of CHE score 3 or 4).
NCT02768363
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of CAN-2409 immunotherapy in patients undergoing active surveillance for localized prostate cancer. CAN-2409 involves the use of aglatimagene besadenovec to kill tumor cells and stimulate a cancer vaccine effect. Killing tumor cells in an immune stimulatory environment induces the body's immune system to detect and destroy cancer cells. CAN-2409 has been well tolerated in previous trials in patients with prostate cancer and other tumor types. Biochemical, pathologic and immune responses have been demonstrated in newly diagnosed and recurrent prostate cancer. The hypothesis is that CAN-2409 can lead to improvement in the clinical outcome for patients with prostate cancer. Participants will be randomized to the CAN-2409 or control arm at a 2:1 ratio. Both arms receive standard of care active surveillance evaluations.
NCT02235545
The purpose of this post approval study is to characterize the chronic performance of the SJM Optisure family of HV leads in patients.
NCT06285812
A pragmatic, mixed-method trial is to show the ability of OtoSight to change management of the pediatric patient presenting with ear pain in a way that improves patient outcomes and reduces costs.
NCT02684006
This is a phase 3 randomized trial evaluating the anti-tumor activity and safety of avelumab in combination with axitinib and of sunitinib monotherapy, administered as first-line treatment, in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma
NCT03037632
The aims of the DCM Precision Medicine Study are to test the hypothesis that DCM has substantial genetic basis and to evaluate the effectiveness of a family communication intervention in improving the uptake and impact of family member clinical screening.
NCT06093906
The R33 will be a randomized controlled trial to replicate changes in the targets (unproductive processing, avoidance, reward deficits) from the R61 phase in a larger sample of 135 participants who have experienced a destabilizing life event involving profound loss or threat, report persistent stressor-related symptoms of PTSD and/or depression, and are elevated on symptoms related to 2 of the 3 therapeutic targets. Additionally, this study will examine Positive Processes and Transition to Health (PATH)'s impact on stressor-related psychopathology in comparison to Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR). In the R33 phase, the investigators will examine changes in target mechanisms predicting improvements in PTSD and depressive symptoms, as well as feasibility and acceptability. Patients will receive 6 sessions of PATH or PMR (with 2 boosters, if partial responders). Primary targets will be assessed at pre-treatment, week 3, post-treatment, and at 1- and 3-month follow-up; secondary targets at pre-treatment, weekly during treatment, post-treatment, and at 1- and 3-month follow-ups.
NCT03104699
This is a 2-part trial: a Phase 1, open-label, dose-escalation study in participants with metastatic or locally advanced solid tumors, with a consecutive Phase 2 expansion to evaluate efficacy in participants with recurrent, unresectable, or metastatic (advanced) cervical cancer that has progressed after a platinum-based treatment regimen.
NCT05686239
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate if the investigational drug, RL-007, can improve the cognitive performance of subjects with schizophrenia. The main questions the study aims to answer are: 1. Does RL-007 improve subjects performance in a set of cognitive tasks? 2. Which dose of RL-007 (20 mg or 40 mg) has a larger effect on cognitive performance? 3. How well do subjects tolerate RL-007? In the study, subjects will perform the cognitive tasks at the beginning to get familiar with the tasks. Then, subjects will be given either RL-007 or a placebo for 6 weeks and then repeat the cognitive tasks. The researchers will compare the results at the end of the treatment period to the baseline to see if there have been any changes in performance. Additionally, several safety measures will be collected throughout the study (blood pressure, physical exam, ECGs, etc) to evaluate if there are any side effects from taking RL-007.
NCT05365776
Concussions are very common. Although many people recover well from concussion, some will have persistent symptoms and difficulties with daily activities. How people cope with their symptoms following concussion powerfully influences their recovery. Fear avoidance behaviour is a particularly unhelpful approach to coping, in which people perceive their pre-injury activities as unnecessarily dangerous and take great care to avoid overexertion and overstimulation. The investigators developed and pilot tested a behavioural therapy, called graded exposure therapy, to reduce fear avoidance behaviour. Our preliminary work suggested that graded exposure therapy was acceptable to patients with concussion and possibly beneficial for their recovery. The GET FAB after concussion study will assess the effectiveness of graded exposure therapy.
NCT06956417
Persistent memory symptoms after concussion are common, and likely perpetuated by unhelpful illness beliefs and coping behaviors. Results from a pilot study suggested that traditional cognitive rehabilitation and a novel cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) protocol were both associated with improvements in subjective memory functioning. The present study will more definitively compare the effectiveness of these interventions for improving subjective memory functioning after concussion.
NCT06559163
This study aims to examine the efficacy and safety of obexelimab in participants with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
