NCT02519777
People infected with HIV often have cognitive dysfunction even if they are on antiretroviral therapy (ART) and have undetectable viral loads. The study evaluated if the addition of maraviroc (MVC) and dolutegravir (DTG) (which are two antiretroviral \[ARV\] medications) to participants' existing ART regimens improved participants' neurocognitive performance.
NCT01227616
The objectives of this study are to compare the efficacy and safety of repeat doses of intravenous (IV) ferumoxytol with IV iron sucrose for the treatment of IDA in subjects with hemodialysis-dependent CKD.
NCT04397757
The purpose of this study is to see if this plasma can be safely used in humans with COVID-19 and to see if it improves patients' health as compared to not using it in patients with pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2.
NCT03337906
An observational study of long-term outcomes of HIV-1 infection in persons who become infected after enrollment in HIV-1 vaccine trials
NCT01660035
The purpose of the REVERSE Post Approval Study (PAS) is to confirm the benefit observed in the REVERSE and RAFT pivotal studies in "real-world" clinical practice.
NCT01547741
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of breast cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving the drugs in different combinations may kill more breast cancer cells. Giving combination chemotherapy after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying different combination chemotherapy regimens and their side effects and comparing how well they work in treating women with non-metastatic breast cancer.
NCT02545049
The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether oral finerenone (study drug), in addition to standard daily therapy, is effective and safe in treating patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic kidney disease, when compared to a placebo.
NCT01721746
The purpose of the study is to estimate the response rate and compare overall survival of patients taking BMS-936558 to those taking study physician's choice of either Dacarbazine or Carboplatin and Paclitaxel
NCT03969589
Women represent the fastest growing population within the VHA. Many are of reproductive age and experience mental health concerns. Women with mental illness are at greater risk for unplanned pregnancy and poor pregnancy outcomes due to factors related to mental health and mental health treatment. Similarly, mental health concerns (e.g., impact of pregnancy on mental illness, psychiatric medications and pregnancy) can affect reproductive life goals and plans. Reproductive life planning (RLP) interventions that include considerations and concerns women Veterans with mental illness face are needed. The investigators adapted existing RLP materials to create an interactive, individualized, client-centered RLP intervention designed to help women Veterans with mental illness develop a mental health-informed reproductive life plan and reproductive life goals (RLP-MH). The current study aims to determine if the RLP-MH intervention is feasible and acceptable to women Veterans and if it increases engagement in behaviors to address RLP goals.
NCT02901717
This is a Phase 3, multi-center, randomized, open-label, assess-blind study to determine the efficacy and safety of MLT, a novel antibiotic lock therapy that combines minocycline with edetate disodium in 25% ethanol solution as an adjuctive therapy for the treatment of catheter-related or central line associated bloodstream infection (CRBSI/CLABSI). Approximately 144 subjects who have been diagnosed with CRBSI/CLABSI and who meet all necessary criteria for the study will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to 1 of 2 treatment arms: * MLT Arm: Mino-Lok therapy; or * Control Arm: Antibiotic lock (±heparin). The antibiotic lock (ALT) should be comprised of the best available therapy at the sites based on standard institutional practices or recommendations from the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) guidelines.
NCT03227029
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the infectivity, safety, and immunogenicity of the recombinant live-attenuated respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines RSV ΔNS2/Δ1313/I1314L or RSV 276 when delivered as nose drops to RSV-seronegative infants 6 to 24 months of age. This study was a companion study to Center for Immunization Research (CIR) 321.
NCT03102047
This study is being done to look at the safety and response to the investigational drug durvalumab (MEDI4736) following chemo-radiation therapy for patients with MSS stage II to IV rectal cancer. Durvalumab recognizes specific proteins on the surface of cancer cells and triggers the immune system to destroy the cancer cells. The chemoRT portion of the treatment will be completed just before the course of durvalumab is initiated. In order to learn more about certain characteristics of rectal cancer tumors, this study includes special research tests using samples from diagnostic tumors, a tissue sample from tumors removed during surgery, fresh tumor samples from an area where the cancer has recurred, and blood samples.
NCT03000257
This is an open-label, Phase I, dose-escalation study to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RPTD), maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of budigalimab. This study will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of budigalimab in combination with Rovalpituzumab Tesirine and budigalimab in combination with venetoclax. The study will consist of 3 parts: budigalimab monotherapy dose escalation and expansion, budigalimab in combination with Rovalpituzumab Tesirine and budigalimab in combination with venetoclax.
NCT03846453
The objective of this study was to compare the safety and efficacy of 0.25% HL036 Ophthalmic Solutions to placebo for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye.
NCT03628066
This study will look at the safety and effectiveness of the combination of palbociclib and letrozole and ovarian suppression for premenopausal patients who have ER-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer that has not yet been treated.
NCT03205163
The primary purpose was to assess the safety and tolerability of a single intravenous (IV) administration of BIVV001 in adult previously treated patients (PTPs) with severe hemophilia A.
