NCT00161668
This study is designed to assess the safety of Mylotarg therapy in routine practice.
NCT00446823
This clinical trial is designed to evaluate the effect of XCell cellulose wound dressing for its ability to naturally (autolytically) remove nonviable tissue and create a healthy vascular wound bed. Results will compare venous ulcers treated with Xylos XCell cellulose dressing plus standard care to those treated with standard care alone. The hypothesis is that XCell will demonstrate more autolytic debridement than the standard of care.
NCT00371046
The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of the use of both sonographic cervical length (CL) and fetal fibronectin (FFN) on the length of outpatient triage and preterm labor interventions in symptomatic women with intact membranes. We performed a randomized trial of the use of transvaginal ultrasound cervical length and fetal fibronectin in women being evaluated for suspected PTL at a gestational age between 24 and 33 weeks 6 days. Women are randomized to either a standard (blinded) or a protocol arm. Women in the standard arm are evaluated without the results of the CL and FFN while women in the protocol arm are evaluated using the results of the CL and FFN and managing physicians are asked to follow a specific PTL algorithm to determine a women's eligibility for treatment. The primary outcome is length of stay in the triage area before discharge.
NCT00283361
The main purpose of this study is to see if the experimental drug ZP120, when given with the approved drug furosemide to patients with acute or sub-acute heart failure, can reduce the amount of fluid in the patients' lungs and make breathing easier.
NCT00122304
The primary objective is to evaluate the safety of eculizumab in patients with transfusion-dependent hemolytic PNH
NCT00222898
The purpose of this study is to assist with early and accurate diagnosis of cancer in pancreatic cysts based on the analysis of DNA obtained by endoscopic ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration
NCT00228592
The purpose of this study is to compare the use of HepeX-B versus HBIg, two anti-viral drugs, in patients who have received liver transplants due to liver failure caused by Hepatitis B infection. Patients will be evaluated over a 6 month to 1.5 year period to evaluate whether or not the drugs prevent the Hepatitis B virus from infecting the new liver.
NCT00429533
The purpose of this 12-month study was to determine the efficacy of dapsone as a glucocorticoid-sparing agent in maintenance phase pemphigus vulgaris.
NCT00039858
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safe and effective dose of Argatroban for prophylaxis and/or treatment of thrombosis in pediatric patients with current or previous diagnosis of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) and thrombosis syndrome (HITTS), or who in the opinion of the investigator require alternative anticoagulation due to an underlying condition.
NCT00139763
This is a questionnaire based study (no study drug is involved) that asks if more patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes on diabetes pills will choose insulin as the next treatment choice if inhaled insulin were available in addition to all currently available treatments, compared with if inhaled insulin was not available as part of currently available treatments. This study will also ask if patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes currently managed on diabetes pills + once daily insulin will choose as the next treatment choice to take insulin multiple times a day if inhaled insulin were available in addition to all currently available treatments, compared with if inhaled insulin was not available as part of currently available treatments.
NCT00111215
The purpose of the study is to determine whether oral contraceptives, desmopressin acetate, and/or tranexamic acid are effective in the treatment of women with menorrhagia who are diagnosed with a bleeding disorder.
NCT00177008
This study will determine the efficacy of a medication switch to Aripiprazole for the treatment of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder in patients with moderate to high symptoms of social anxiety. Specifically the study will test the possibility that a medication switch to Aripiprazole reduces symptoms of social anxiety in this patient population.
NCT00040625
This study is to evaluate the effects (good and bad) of ALIMTA and Cisplatin or ALIMTA alone on you and your malignant pleural mesothelioma as well as make ALIMTA available to patients who qualify for treatment.
NCT00052000
This is the first study of MLN2704 administered to humans. The purpose of the study is to determine the highest dose of MLN2704 that can be given safely to patients with prostate cancer, and to identify any side effects associated with taking the drug. This study will also evaluate how MLN2704 is taken up (absorbed), broken down (metabolized) and eliminated (excreted) by the body. This process is called pharmacokinetic analysis.
NCT00424411
To determine, in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: 1. Whether glycemic control can be achieved at least as effectively with an insulin regimen involving pre-meal EXUBERA™ (inhaled insulin) plus a single bedtime Ultralente injection as with a conventional subcutaneous insulin regimen involving 2 mixed Regular/NPH insulin injections per day. 2. The toleration and safety of EXUBERA™ (inhaled insulin) therapy and its effects after 6 months, if any, on measures of pulmonary function.
NCT00190814
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of duloxetine in reducing urinary incontinence(leakage of urine)occurrences in women due to physical stress and leakage that occurs during a strong need(urge) to urinate.
NCT00273884
This protocol is designed to assess the safety and efficacy of amonafide in combination with cytarabine in subjects with previously untreated secondary AML.
