NCT00057356
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose ranging pilot study to examine the effects of conivaptan in patients with acute decompensated heart failure.
NCT00968708
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the cardiovascular outcomes of alogliptin, once daily (QD), compared with placebo, in addition to standard of care, in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and acute coronary syndrome.
NCT00484315
The purpose of the TAXUS PERSEUS Workhorse trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the next-generation Boston Scientific TAXUS paclitaxel-eluting coronary stent system (TAXUS® ElementTM) for the treatment of de novo atherosclerotic lesions of up to 28 mm in length in native coronary arteries of 2.75 mm to 4.0 mm diameter.
NCT01438775
This study is designed to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of a second transrectal intraprostatic injection of NX-1207 given to subjects with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) who previously received an injection of NX-1207 in an earlier U.S. clinical trial of NX-1207.
NCT01563978
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of fostamatinib compared to placebo on ambulatory blood pressure in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis who are taking a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD). The study will last for 57 days.
NCT00093912
The purpose of this study is to establish the safety of clevidipine in the treatment of perioperative hypertension. Approximately 250-500 patients with perioperative hypertension undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) or minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) surgery and/or valve replacement/repair procedures were anticipated to be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups: clevidipine or sodium nitroprusside.
NCT01227629
The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the safety of different doses of BIBR 1048, alone or in combination with acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), as determined by the rates of bleeding and other adverse events. A secondary objective of this trial is to evaluate the anticoagulant effect of different doses of BIBR 1048, based on the reduction of plasma concentrations of D-dimer, a laboratory marker for activated coagulation in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF), and to correlate bleeding and other events with pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) data.
NCT00008424
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. PURPOSE: Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of irinotecan in treating children with refractory or advanced solid tumors who are receiving anticonvulsants.
NCT00519233
The present study will investigate the safety, tolerability and spectrum of side effects of AGS-1C4D4. As such, this study will characterize the dose limiting toxicities (DLT) and potentially the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of AGS-1C4D4 in patients with advanced HRPC.
NCT01127581
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the Misoprostol Vaginal Insert (MVI) 200 microgram (mcg) can decrease the time to vaginal delivery compared to the Dinoprostone Vaginal Insert (DVI) 10 milligram (mg) in pregnant women requiring cervical ripening and induction of labor.
NCT00005037
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of temozolomide in treating patients who have stage IIIB, stage IV, or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT01227668
The purpose of this study is to determine whether pediatric participants with irritability associated with autistic disorder who have responded to aripiprazole treatment will experience a relapse significantly later when continuing therapy with aripiprazole than will participants who receive placebo
NCT00933985
This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of obatoclax mesylate when given together with vincristine sulfate, doxorubicin hydrochloride, and dexrazoxane hydrochloride in treating young patients with relapsed or refractory solid tumors, lymphoma, or leukemia. Obatoclax mesylate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the proteins needed for cell growth and causing the cells to self-destruct. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as vincristine sulfate, doxorubicin hydrochloride, and dexrazoxane hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving obatoclax mesylate together with combination chemotherapy may kill more cancer cells.
NCT00784147
The investigational product, ibalizumab, is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody administered via intravenous infusion at 800 mg every 2 weeks or at 2000 mg every 4 weeks. In addition to study drug, all patients will receive an optimized background regimen (OBR), which is a standard-of-care regimen selected by the investigator prior to randomization that is comprised of 2-4 antiretroviral agents. These agents must have been approved by the local regulatory agency or be available through expanded-access programs for treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
NCT00379847
This study will investigate the application of a vasopressin antagonist in the treatment of hyponatremia most likely caused by inappropriate AVP secretion. The population studied will include patients with euvolemic or hypervolemic hyponatremia.
NCT01311661
This study will compare efficacy and safety of different regimens of olodaterol administration in asthma (once daily, twice daily) with placebo in a complete cross-over design each within one of the two daily dose groups (medium or high daily dose).
NCT00093262
The purpose of this study is to establish the efficacy of of clevidipine versus placebo in treating postoperative hypertension. Approximately 100 patients with postoperative hypertension undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) or minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) surgery and/or valve replacement/repair procedures were anticipated to be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups: clevidipine or placebo.
NCT01135316
Phase 4, open-label, two-year, prospective, multi-center, follow-up study conducted at up 15 sites in USA. Approximately 1,000 patients with moderate-to-severe CKD will be enrolled and followed for up to 24 months.
NCT00054847
