NCT02017964
This phase II trial studies how well combination chemotherapy works in treating younger patients with newly diagnosed, non-metastatic desmoplastic medulloblastoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as vincristine sulfate, cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, etoposide, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.
NCT00492856
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as gemtuzumab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Sometimes the cancer may not need more treatment until it progresses. In this case, observation may be sufficient. It is not yet known whether combination chemotherapy is more effective than observation when given as maintenance therapy in treating acute promyelocytic leukemia. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying tretinoin, mercaptopurine, and methotrexate to see how well they work when given as maintenance therapy compared with observation after combination chemotherapy in treating patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia. (Randomization and observation group closed as of 8/15/10)
NCT04680156
This is a long-term follow-up study to evaluate the safety and durability (efficacy) of response to EN3835 compared to placebo in participants who were treated in EN3835-210 or the pivotal Phase 3 parent studies for the treatment of AC of the shoulder (frozen shoulder).
NCT01730950
This randomized phase II trial studies how well bevacizumab with or without radiation therapy works in treating patients with recurrent glioblastoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue. It is not yet know whether bevacizumab is more effective with or without radiation therapy in treating patients with recurrent glioblastoma
NCT03667690
The purpose of this pivotal study is to determine if intravenous Rezafungin is efficacious and safe in the treatment of candidemia and/or invasive candidiasis when compared to caspofungin (followed by optional oral fluconazole).
NCT03712137
This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of JUVÉDERM VOLUX™ XC injectable gel for restoring jawline definition
NCT00849147
Bone marrow transplants are one treatment option for people with leukemia or lymphoma. Family members or unrelated donors with a similar type of bone marrow usually donate their bone marrow to the transplant patients. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of a new type of bone marrow transplant-one that uses lower doses of chemotherapy and bone marrow donated from family members with only partially matched bone marrow-in people with leukemia or lymphoma.
NCT03484520
An open-label, dose-escalation study to assess safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy as well as determine the recommended Phase 2 doses of co-administered therapy of dinaciclib and venetoclax for patients with relapsed or refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia (R/R AML).
NCT02918019
This is a Phase IIb, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, multicenter, multi-arm study which will evaluate efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetic of MSTT1041A compared with placebo as add-on therapy in participants with severe, uncontrolled asthma who are receiving medium- or high-dose inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) therapy and at least one of the following additional controller medications: long-acting beta-agonists (LABA), leukotriene modifier (LTM), long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA), or long-acting theophylline preparation. The total duration of this study for each participant is approximately 70 weeks including screening, run-in, treatment, and follow-up.
NCT02352753
This is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm study in children 2 to 17 years of age with OI to evaluate efficacy and safety of denosumab.
NCT00096460
This study is designed as a Phase II/III, multi-center trial, comparing two transplant strategies to determine whether non-myeloablative allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) will improve long-term progression-free survival compared to autologous HSCT. Recipients will be biologically assigned to the appropriate treatment arm depending on the availability of a Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) matched sibling.
NCT00303498
The aim of this study was to determine whether long-term (≥ 6 months at the target dose) blockade of ETA receptors using sitaxsentan showed functional benefit in subjects with chronic Heart Failure and an Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction ≥50%.
NCT03504423
A prospective, multicenter, open label, randomized phase III study to evaluate efficacy and safety of FFX versus CPI-613 + mFFX in patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas with age range of 18 to 75 years
NCT02923531
The purpose of this study is to determine if the combination of X4P-001 plus nivolumab is safe and tolerable. Secondly, the study will investigate if adding X4P-001 to nivolumab treatment has an effect on the body and the cancer tumor, in participants receiving nivolumab but not exhibiting a radiological response.
NCT05101252
This is a single-masked, two-arm, parallel-group, randomized-controlled, dispensing clinical trial to evaluate the visual performance.
NCT00537134
The management of patients with unruptured aneurysms is controversial. Patients with unruptured aneurysms may suffer intracranial hemorrhage, but the incidence of this event is still debated. Endovascular treatment can prevent rupture, but involves immediate risks; furthermore, successful treatment does not eliminate all risks. A randomized trial may be the best way to demonstrate the potential benefits of endovascular over conservative management of unruptured aneurysms.
NCT04088500
The purpose of the study is to assess the effectiveness of re-induction with Nivolumab combined with ipilimumab.
NCT02576444
The primary objective of this phase II trial is to determine tumor overall response rate (ORR) in molecularly selected patients with measurable disease as assessed by the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST), before versus after 16 weeks of treatment across tumor types in each arm of the study.
NCT02489058
This is an observational and sample collection study involving patients (alive or deceased) from several clinical trials who had received the investigational drug, olaparib in other research studies. There is no intervention given for this study. This research is being done to understand of the mechanisms involved in patients whose cancer responds well and whose cancer does not respond well to investigational drug, olaparib, to help better understand how olaparib works and to better identify patients who may benefit from this therapy.
NCT01957176
The objective of this study was to provide continued treatment with eltrombopag for subjects who were participating in a Novartis-sponsored investigational study with eltrombopag (parent studies 114968/ASPIRE (NCT01440374), PMA112509 (NCT00903422), and TRA105325/EXTEND (NCT00351468), receiving clinical benefit without unacceptable toxicity and to collect long-term safety data.
