NCT04737031
The main purpose of this research study is to evaluate the effectiveness of "nudges" to clinicians, to patients, or to both in increasing Tobacco Use Treatment Service (TUTS) referral and engagement; and to explore clinician, patient, inner setting (e.g., clinic), and outer setting (e.g., payment structures) mechanisms related to TUTS referral and engagement. The investigators will employ rapid-cycle approaches to optimize the framing of nudges to clinicians and patients prior to initiating the trial and mixed methods to explore contextual factors and mechanisms. The investigators will conduct a four-arm pragmatic cluster randomize clinical trial to test the effectiveness of nudges to clinicians, nudges to patients, or nudges to both in increasing TUTS referral and engagement in cancer patients who smoke, vs. usual care (UC). The investigators hypothesize that each of the implementation strategy arms will significantly increase TUTS referral and engagement compared to UC and that the combination of nudges to clinicians and to patients will be the most effective.
NCT04740814
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and safety of certolizumab pegol in adults with active rheumatoid arthritis.
NCT04461600
The current study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AL101 monotherapy in subjects with Notch-activated recurrent or metastatic TNBC; Notch activation will be determined by a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) test.
NCT04638153
Approximately 63 participants will be randomized to one of three doses to receive Recifercept either * Low Dose * Medium Dose * High Dose Participants will will attend the clinic at baseline and at Day 1, 4, 8, 15, 29 \& then Month 2, 3 6, 9 \& 12. Assessments include safety, blood sampling, physical examination, vital signs, anthropometric body measurements \& patient/caregiver quality of life questionnaires Participants will received treatment with Recifercept for 12 months. All participants who complete the study and in the opinion of the investigator, continue to have a positive risk:benefit profile, will be offered to enroll into an open-label extension (OLE) study. A PK cohort will include 12 participants who will randomly receive a single dose of 3 mg/kg of Phase 2 study (process 1c) formulation and a single dose of 3 mg/kg of the proposed Phase 3 (process 2) study formulation in a cross over study. Dose of the cohort could be changed due to emerging safety and efficacy data in the study.
NCT03653091
The Revita™ System is being investigated to assess the ability to improve glycemic control in conjunction with diet and exercise in patients with Type 2 diabetes who are inadequately controlled with oral anti-diabetic medications. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the Fractyl DMR Procedure using the Revita™ System compared to a sham procedure. At 24 weeks, subjects randomized to the DMR procedure be continued to be followed per protocol till 48 Weeks and the Sham treatment arm will be offered to cross over to receive the DMR treatment and will be followed per protocol for 24 weeks post treatment.
NCT02168140
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of CPI-613 when given together with bendamustine hydrochloride in treating patients with relapsed or refractory T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma or Hodgkin lymphoma. CPI-613 may kill cancer cells by turning off their mitochondria, which are used by cancer cells to produce energy and are the building blocks needed to make more cancer cells. By shutting off mitochondria, CPI-613 may deprive the cancer cells of energy and other supplies needed to survive and grow. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as bendamustine hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving CPI-613 with bendamustine hydrochloride may kill more cancer cells.
NCT05780541
This study looks at the safety and effectiveness of PF-07304814 in treating COVID-19 in people who have been hospitalized with the infection. Participants in the study will be treated with either PF-07304814 plus current standard of care (SOC), or with placebo plus current SOC. This is ACTIV-3/TICO Treatment Trial H6.
NCT02841540
A Phase 1, an Open-label, Multicenter Phase 1 Trial to Evaluate the Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Splicing Modulator H3B-8800 (RVT-2001) for Subjects With Myelodysplastic Syndromes, Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia
NCT04143217
Open label, flexible dose, long-term multicenter study of safety and efficacy of SPN-812 in adult ADHD patients
NCT04391920
The CTC Registry collects patient-level clinical data on CytoSorb hemoadsorption provided to COVID-19 ICU patients via integration of the CytoSorb device into ECMO, CRRT, or hemoperfusion extracorporeal circuits. The intent of the registry is to gain understanding on how CytoSorb hemoadsorption provides clinical benefit to COVID-19 ICU patients.
NCT04476472
Subjects will undergo a 14-day outpatient, standard therapy phase during which sensor and insulin data will be collected. This will be followed by a 94-day (13-week) hybrid closed-loop phase conducted in an outpatient setting, and an optional 12-month extension phase.
NCT02357797
This is a 16-week, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled study comparing adjunctive vortioxetine with identically appearing adjunctive placebo pills in 88 stable patients with a research diagnosis of schizophrenia determined with the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM (SCID). Patient randomization will be stratified by illness duration (i.e., \</=5 years and \>5 years) in order to allow for post-hoc analyses examining whether earlier illness moderates greater negative and /or cognitive symptom reduction in response to vortioxetine.
NCT04849988
This Phase 2 trial will evaluate the safety and efficacy of ABP-450 for the treatment of cervical dystonia in adults. The study will enroll 60 patients across approximately 30 sites in the United States. Study subjects will be divided evenly across a low dose group, a medium dose group, a high dose group, and a placebo group for one treatment cycle.
NCT01959139
This partially randomized phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of pegylated recombinant human hyaluronidase (PEGPH20) when given together with combination chemotherapy and to see how well they work compared with combination chemotherapy alone in treating patients with newly diagnosed pancreatic cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Pegylated recombinant human hyaluronidase may help chemotherapy drugs work better by making tumor cells more sensitive to the drugs. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, irinotecan hydrochloride, and oxaliplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether combination chemotherapy is more effective with or without pegylated recombinant human hyaluronidase in treating pancreatic cancer.
