NCT05133336
Saroglitazar Magnesium 1 mg and 2 mg tablets for treatment of subjects with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC)
NCT05300048
This study will evaluate the feasibility of optimizing the safety and tolerability of serabelisib (an investigational PI3K inhibitor) when combined with an ISD and with or without nab-paclitaxel with a goal of reducing side effects and enhancing anticancer activity.
NCT05227287
A global, multi-center, Disease Monitoring Study (DMS) in participants with Autosomal Dominant Hypocalcemia Type 1 (ADH1) or Autosomal Dominant Hypocalcemia Type 2 (ADH2) designed to characterize ADH1 and ADH2 disease presentation and progression through retrospective (past) and longitudinal prospective (over time into the future) data collection.
NCT07087054
A Phase 3, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of paltusotine treatment vs placebo as well as the long-term safety of paltusotine in adults with carcinoid syndrome due to well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors. The purpose of this study is to continue the evaluation of the safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of paltusotine in participants with carcinoid syndrome.
NCT02890329
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of ipilimumab when given together with decitabine in treating patients with myelodysplastic syndrome or acute myeloid leukemia that has returned after a period of improvement (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as decitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving ipilimumab and decitabine may work better in treating patients with relapsed or refractory myelodysplastic syndrome or acute myeloid leukemia.
NCT06649110
A study to learn about the treatment LTP001 in healthy participants (Part A) and in participants with PAH (Part B)
NCT01142388
This randomized phase II trial studies how well paclitaxel with or without cixutumumab works in treating patients with esophageal cancer or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Cixutumumab may kill cancer cells by blocking the action of a protein needed for cancer cell growth. Giving paclitaxel with or without cixutumumab may kill more tumor cells.
NCT03218826
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of PI3Kbeta inhibitor AZD8186 when given together with docetaxel in treating patients with solid tumors with PTEN or PIK3CB mutations that have spread to other places in the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery. PI3Kbeta inhibitor AZD8186 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving PI3Kbeta inhibitor AZD8186 and docetaxel may work better in treating patients with solid tumors.
NCT06023459
This pilot trial will explore the feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness of the most recently approved formulation of injectable extended-release buprenorphine (XR-BUP) for treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD) in rural settings. We will randomize 144 eligible individuals with moderate to severe OUD in a 2:1 ratio to one of two medication conditions: (1) XR-BUP (128mg target), administered every 4 weeks or (2) SL-BUP (16mg-24 mg/day target).Participants will receive study medication treatment for the 14 week-intervention period, including an initial \~2-week period of induction/stabilization. The study will use a mixed-methods approach (participant assessments, study medication records, qualitative interviews) for assessing feasibility and acceptability, and results will include patient outcome data on the comparative effectiveness of XR-BUP versus SL-BUP for patients with OUD in rural settings.
NCT07558668
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the study drug, SYX-5219, in a multi-part First-in-Human (FiH) study to be conducted in healthy volunteers and participants with Atopic Dermatitis (AD). The objectives of this study are to determine the safety, tolerability and levels of SYX-5219 in the blood and urine when SYX-5219 is given in each part of the study (SAD, MAD, Food Effect and Participants with AD). The study will be split into up to 3 parts as follows: * Part 1 - Single Ascending Dose (SAD) and Food Effect in healthy volunteers * Part 2 - Multiple Ascending Dose (MAD) in healthy volunteers * Part 3 - Multiple Dose in Participants with AD - enrolling up to 45 males and females with a confirmed diagnosis of AD of at least 6 months, evaluating multiple dose administrations of SYX-5219 or placebo daily over a period of 42 days.
NCT06926530
This research study is enrolling participants diagnosed with breast cancer and receiving/received chemotherapy and/or endocrine therapy. The study's primary objective is to assess the differences in the use of herbs and supplements among the populations served at Cleveland Clinic Florida and Ohio by administering a participant-reported questionnaire.
NCT06938841
Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has emerged as a promising intervention for treatment-resistant depression (TRD), yet substantial uncertainties persist regarding its efficacy as a maintenance treatment. This prospective study seeks to investigate the efficacy of maintenance rTMS in individuals with TRD who have previously responded to an acute course of rTMS. In the R61 phase of the study, we will recruit 75 participants across three study sites, the University of California San Diego, Weill Cornell Medicine, and Australian National University, into a double-blind, three-arm maintenance treatment trial. In this trial, participants will be randomized to receive either standard maintenance rTMS, clustered maintenance rTMS, or sham maintenance rTMS for a duration of 6 months. Our primary aim is to examine the efficacy of maintenance rTMS on sustaining connectivity between the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and subgenual cingulate cortex (SGC) measured through concurrent TMS and electroencephalography (TMS-EEG) at baseline and every six weeks throughout the 6-month treatment period. We will also assess changes in depressive symptom severity using clinical scales, including the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) as a secondary outcome measure. It is hypothesized that stimulation with clustered maintenance rTMS will demonstrate superiority in sustaining DLPFC-SGC connectivity compared with standard maintenance rTMS and sham maintenance rTMS
NCT06795048
This study is a Phase IIIb/IV, multicenter, randomized, two-arm, open-label 100-week study to investigate the efficacy, safety, and durability of intravitreal 6-mg faricimab administered at up to 24-week intervals in patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) that are treatment-naïve in the study eye.
