NCT00140036
This protocol describes procedures for the collection of blood samples for the intent of determining genetic contribution to the safety and efficacy of CPT/FU/LV.
NCT00063713
The purpose of this study is to find out whether treatment with VELCADE will increase the time it takes for lymphoma to get worse.
NCT00064623
The purpose of the study is to determine if an investigational drug, NGX-4010 (high-concentration capsaicin patch), is effective in treating painful HIV-associated neuropathy.
NCT00146068
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability and efficacy of a combination therapy interferon beta-1a(Avonex) plus simvastatin (Zocor) vs. interferon beta-1a plus placebo in patients with clinically isolated syndrome suggestive of Multiple Sclerosis.
NCT00083590
The present study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Chinese herb huperzine A in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD) in a randomized controlled trial of its effect on cognitive function.
NCT00389376
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of different dosages of silymarin on subjects with Hepatitis C or Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.
NCT00051974
The purpose of this study is to evaluate how tumors in patients with non-small cell lung cancer respond to treatment with VELCADE alone versus VELCADE given with docetaxel and also to see what effects (good and bad) it has on you and your cancer.
NCT00627328
Prospective study assessing the incidence of atrial high rate episodes (AHRE) in pacemaker patients with and without previously diagnosed AT.
NCT00290134
The purpose of this study is to determine whether one or more fispemifene dose regimens are more effective than placebo in the treatment of hypogonadism in older men.
NCT00293917
A study to assess the long-term safety of tacrolimus cream in the treatment of psoriasis
NCT00628680
The purpose of this study is to determine if AAT-023 (Zuragen) solution is superior to Heparin in preventing Catheter Related Blood Stream Infections for End Stage Renal Disease patients.
NCT00285376
This study is designed to determine the safety and effectiveness of vilazodone for major depressive disorder and to discover genetic markers associated with response. This study will enroll approximately 400 patients.
NCT00237393
The purpose of the study is to determine if quetiapine is effective in the treatment of PTSD.
NCT00294346
The purpose of this study is to look at the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug (AV608) when used in subjects who have Social Anxiety Disorder. AV608 is an NK-1 receptor antagonist that exhibits central nervous system activity after oral administration. The study will compare AV608 to placebo (a medically inactive substance) to see if AV608 helps the symptoms of Social Anxiety Disorder. Eligible subjects will be assigned by chance to take either AV608 or placebo for 12 weeks. During the study, subjects will be asked about their overall health and mood and their Social Anxiety Disorder.
NCT00159614
The purpose of this study is to characterize the safety and tolerability of KW-3902IV and measure its effect on renal function.
NCT00298168
Selectins have been implicated in the pathogenesis of ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)-induced kidney injury and resultant delayed graft function (DGF). PSGL-1 is a ligand for P-, E-, and L-selectin. It has been reported that YSPSL (rPSGL-Ig) blocks P-selectin and, to a lesser degree, E- and L-selectin. Both sPSGL-1 and YSPSL (rPSGL-Ig) have been shown in animal models to reduce both cytokines and tissue damage associated with ischemia reperfusion and to improve renal function post-transplant. Therefore, the current phase I/II clinical study is designed to assess the safety and efficacy of YSPSL (rPSGL-Ig) in preventing DGF in patients undergoing cadaveric kidney transplants and to determine a dose for future pivotal studies.
NCT00061776
The purpose of the study is determine if an investigational drug, NGX-4010 (high-concentration capsaicin dermal patches) is effective in treating pain associated with post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN).
NCT00435123
This is a long-term, randomized, placebo-controlled, double blind clinical study of a nutritional supplement, ProStat 64, in chronic hemodialysis patients with poor nutrition. Subjects receive either ProStat 64 or Placebo for three months. At the end of this period, all subjects will receive ProStat-64 for a further 3 months at which time the study is ended. Parameters of nutritional status (lean body mass and serum protein) will be collected at baseline, 3 months and 6 months.
NCT00051012
The purpose of this study is to provide an opportunity for patients who exhibit progressive disease while receiving placebo on the companion 93-04-11 study to receive ONTAK. It is also designed to determine the effectiveness of ONTAK in Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (CTCL) patients whose tumors do not express CD25.
NCT00125918
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of tadalafil for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
