NCT02340221
This international, multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study is designed to compare the efficacy and safety of taselisib + fulvestrant with that of placebo + fulvestrant in postmenopausal women with estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2)-negative, oncogene that encodes for phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase (PIK3CA)-mutant, unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer after recurrence or progression during or after an aromatase inhibitor (AI) therapy. There will be a 2:1 randomization to the taselisib arm versus the placebo arm. Enrollment will be enriched for participants with PIK3CA mutant tumors via central testing. The anticipated duration of the study is approximately 3.5 years.
NCT01306331
This is a research study of a new experimental vaginal gel that helps in vaginal pH regulation and results in immobilization of spermatozoa by maintaining the normally low vaginal pH, even in the presence of semen. This vaginal gel is called Phexxi™ (previously known as Amphora) and was compared to a commercially available spermicide called Conceptrol®, which contains nonoxynol 9; commonly abbreviated as N-9. Conceptrol® can help prevent pregnancy. This study objective was to determine if this product prevents pregnancy when inserted into the vagina before intercourse.
NCT04320745

NCT04016779
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of SPN-812 (Viloxazine extended-release capsules; 200-600 mg) in adults 18-65 years of age with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
NCT01744223
This study will evaluate patients with blood cell cancers who are going to have an allogeneic (donor) blood stem cell transplant from a partially matched relative. The research study will test whether immune cells, called T cells, which come from the donor relative and are specially grown in the laboratory and then given back to the patient along with the stem cell transplant (T cell addback), can help the immune system recover faster after the transplant. As a safety measure, these T cells have been "programmed" with a "self-destruct switch" so that if, after they have been given to the patient, the T cells start to react against the tissues (called "graft versus host" disease, GVHD), the T cells can be destroyed.
NCT03183791
The goal of this research is to assess the utility of smartphone-based progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) for the treatment of headaches. While there are many commercially available electronic diary and mind-body intervention apps for headache, there is little data showing their efficacy. RELAXaHEAD app incorporates the electronic PMR that was successfully used in an earlier epilepsy study and beta tested with headache specialist and migraine patient input. It also is an electric headache diary. This 2-arm randomized controlled study will evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of RELAX for use with headache patients. One arm will be the RELAX group (the RELAXaHEAD app) and the other arm will be a monitored usual care (MUC) group (this group receives standard of care and uses the electronic daily symptom reporting diary). The goals are to assess the feasibility and adherence of the RELAX intervention in persons with headache (Aim 1) and to gather exploratory data on the effects of the RELAX intervention on headache related outcome measures (Aim 2).
NCT01034631
The purpose of this study is to determine whether BNC105P in combination with/following everolimus is effective in the treatment of progressive metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma following prior tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
NCT01085084
The study aims to evaluate the safety and clinical effect of daily oral treatment with laquinimod capsules (0.5 milligrams \[mg\] and 1 mg) in participants with active lupus arthritis. Laquinimod is a novel immunomodulating drug which is currently in advanced stages of development by Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd. for Multiple Sclerosis.
NCT04849377
The purpose of this research study is to determine the rate of local regional control at 2 years when using de-intensified chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in patients with Human Papillomavirus (HPV)-associated head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Local regional control means no recurrence of the cancer in the head or neck area. Study subjects will be enrolled into 4 groups. Group/treatment will be based on a number of factors, including smoking and drinking history.
NCT05447637
This registry is for men who have prostate cancer and have had multigene panel hereditary testing. The registry will gather data on genetic testing results and how that information may change physician treatment or follow up recommendations. It will also gather data on the patient's experience with genetic testing, through a post-test survey to be completed 60-90days after results have been received and discussed with their provider.
NCT04976595
The purpose of this study is to assess the change in 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) between baseline (Day 0) and Day 120 following 4 months of testosterone therapy with Natesto.
NCT02683941
This is a Phase 3, prospective, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, study evaluating the efficacy and safety of LAN plus BSC versus placebo plus BSC for the treatment of well-differentiated, metastatic and/or unresectable, typical or atypical bronchopulmonary NETs. This study contains two phases: the Double-Blind (DB) Phase, and the Open Label (OL) Phase. The DB Phase includes: Screening, Baseline and Treatment period. The OL Phase will consist of two periods: Treatment Period and Follow-Up Period. The primary objective will be to describe the antitumour efficacy of Lanreotide Autogel/Depot 120 mg (LAN) plus Best Supportive Care (BSC) every 28 days, in terms of progression-free survival (PFS), measured by central review using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumours (RECIST) v1.1 criteria, every 12 weeks, in subjects randomized to LAN with unresectable and/or metastatic well differentiated, typical or atypical bronchopulmonary neuroendocrine tumours. Recent updates of National Cancer Institute Cancer Network (NCCN) \& European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) guidelines recommend SSA in first line for the treatment of locoregional unresectable or metastatic bronchopulmonary NETs as an option beyond 'observation' leading to slow and difficult recruitment in SPINET study. Consequently, it was decided to prematurely stop the recruitment in the SPINET study and to transition all subjects still treated in the double-blind phase to the open label (OL) treatment and follow-up phases following respective country approvals of Amendment #5. The new aim of this Phase 3, multicenter, prospective, randomized placebo-controlled clinical study is to describe the antitumor efficacy and safety of Lanreotide Autogel/Depot 120 mg (LAN) plus Best Supportive Care (BSC) in subjects with well-differentiated, metastatic and/or unresectable, typical or atypical, bronchopulmonary NETs.
NCT03614663

NCT04087174
This is a Phase Ib, open-label, multi-centre study to determine the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics (PK) of capivasertib when given in combination with novel agents (enzalutamide or abiraterone) to inform the selection of capivasertib dose regimens for each combination for further clinical evaluation when given to patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). The study design allows an exploration of different doses with intensive safety monitoring to ensure the safety of the patients.
NCT00553800
This study will evaluate the combination of bevacizumab and erlotinib in elderly patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT00315406
Polyarteritis nodosa (PAN) is a rare immune system disorder that causes swelling and damage to small- and medium-sized blood vessels in the body. In order to properly treat this disease, it is critical that the level of disease activity can be determined over the course of the disease. The purpose of this study is to determine new biological markers, or biomarkers, that may be used to assess the severity of disease in people with PAN.
NCT00315393
Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's) (GPA) and microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) are two rare immune system disorders that cause the inflammation of blood vessels, or vasculitis. In order to properly treat these diseases, it is critical that the level of disease activity can be determined over the course of the disease. The purpose of this study is to determine new biological markers, or biomarkers, that may be used to assess the severity of disease in people with GPA or MPA.
