The purpose of this study is to test the ability of a breast MRI biopsy to accurately diagnose a complete tumor response to the neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) that the patient just finished. Numerous studies have shown that MRI has the highest accuracy for diagnosing a complete tumor response. The investigator wants to see if in a certain group of women who's breast cancer is no longer visible on the post-treatment MRI that the biopsy specimens from a MRI guided biopsy will accurately diagnose a complete tumor response to treatment which may in the future make breast surgery unnecessary in some women.

Captisol Enabled Melphalan, is a new formulation of the standard of care melphalan chemotherapy that in packaged in an inactive substance that is believed to help the chemotherapy be more stable (meaning that it doesn't lose its effect or need to be administered quickly after being mixed). It may also have fewer side effects such as problems with important levels of body electrolytes such as potassium, phosphorous and magnesium; and cause less kidney and heart damage\] than standard formulation melphalan. The purpose of this study is to determine if the investigators can achieve a certain level of Captisol Enabled Melphalan that would be best to use in treating Multiple Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis.

One of the most effective treatments for metastases from thyroid cancer is a form of radioactive iodine known as 131-I. For more than 50 years, 131-I has been used to find and destroy thyroid cancer cells that have spread to other parts of the body. In many cases this treatment destroys the metastatic cells. However, in some patients it does not appear to work completely. This study is designed to use a slightly different form of radioactive iodine (called 124-I) which can precisely predict the amount of radiation that each metastatic lesion will receive. 124-I was developed at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in the 1950s and has been used here and at many other medical centers around the world for diagnostic studies. It has been found to be very safe and effective at finding metastatic lesions. The high resolution of newer PET scanners now allows us to carefully determine how much radiation each metastatic lesion will receive. If 124-I can accurately predict which patients will not respond to 131-I treatments we can then avoid exposing those patients to unnecessary radiation. For the rest of the patients we can custom tailor the 131-I dose to destroy the metastatic lesions.

This randomized phase II trial studies how well chemotherapy and radiation therapy given with or without metformin hydrochloride works in treating patients with stage III non-small cell lung cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Metformin hydrochloride may shrink tumors and keep them from coming back. It is not yet known whether chemotherapy and radiation therapy is more effective when given with or without metformin hydrochloride in treating stage III non-small cell lung cancer.

This study will describe and estimate the incidence of Retinal Vasculitis (RV) events among patients and patient eyes receiving aflibercept intravitreal (IVT) (Eylea®, aflibercept 2mg) therapy in US clinical practice. The main objective is to describe demographic and clinical characteristics of patients receiving aflibercept 2mg injections, to estimate the incidence of RV and RV plus Intraocular Inflammation (IOI) following aflibercept 2mg injections and to describe characteristics of RV cases.

This is a research study examining health effects of the Iraq War, especially those effects involving mental health. This study is a follow-up to the Neurocognition Deployment Health Study (NDHS), also called "Prospective Assessment of Neurocognition in Future Gulf-deployed and Gulf-nondeployed Military Personnel: A Pilot Study." The specific purpose of this research study is to find out more about the longer lasting effects of war on mood and stress symptoms, thinking and reaction skills, and different aspects of day to day life, such as work and daily activities. Survey and test results from previous participation in the NDHS will be compared to the new information that will be obtained from participants as part of this study. The investigators expect that a total of about 817 military personnel and military Veterans will participate in the study. There are two parts to this study: (1) mail/internet/phone survey and (2) in-person assessment. The investigators will invite all NDHS participants who deployed to Iraq to participate in the survey component. The survey component of the study involves being interviewed by phone about mood and stress symptoms and head injuries and completing written survey questions by either mail or on the internet that address basic personal history (such as age, military status, gender, combat injury history), mood, stress symptoms, and stressful experiences. The phone interview will take about 2 to 2.5 hours to complete. The questionnaire part will take about 20 to 30 minutes to complete, and can be completed either by mailing back completed questionnaires or by internet using a private, individual log-in/password combination. The investigators will invite approximately 200 selected at random from the larger group of survey responders to take part in the in-person assessment. The in-person assessment involves taking a small subset of neuropsychological tasks. The tasks will be given on a computer or using paper and pencil. Participants will also be asked to complete questionnaires about work, daily activities, and health history, as well as basic health measures such as height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate, and waist size. Potential participants will be given the option of completing the in-person assessment at one of the two study sites (Seattle or Boston), or in a private setting in their community (e.g., a hotel small conference room). Altogether, this part of the study will take about 120 minutes to 140 minutes to complete.

This was a phase 1b, multi-arm, open-label study of HDM201 in combination with MBG453 or venetoclax in subjects with AML or high-risk MDS. For all subjects, TP53wt status had to be characterized by, at a minimum, no mutations noted in exons 5, 6, 7 and 8. Two treatment arms enrolled subjects in parallel to characterize the safety, tolerability, PK, PD and preliminary antitumor activity of HDM201+MBG453 (treatment arm 1) and HDM201+venetoclax (treatment arm 2). * In the treatment arm 1, subjects received HDM201 in combination with MBG453. * In the treatment arm 2, subjects received HDM201 in combination with venetoclax. Venetoclax dose was gradually increased (ramp-up) over a period of 4 to 5 days to achieve the daily target dose tested that was subsequently continued. Upon the completion of the escalation part, MTD(s) and/or RD(s) of HDM201 in combination with MBG453 or venetoclax in AML and high-risk MDS subjects was planned to be determined for each treatment arm.
