The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of troriluzole as adjunctive therapy compared to placebo in participants with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
NCT06704724
The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine when given alone or together with other anti-cancer therapies. Anti-cancer therapy is a type of treatment to stop the growth of cancer. This study also aims to find the best amount of study medication. This study is seeking participants who have solid tumors (a mass of abnormal cells that forms a lump or growth in the body) that: * are advanced (cancer that doesn't disappear or stay away with treatment) and * have a KRAS gene mutation (a change in the DNA of the KRAS gene that can cause cells to grow in very high numbers). This includes (but limited to) the following cancer types: * Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC): It's a type of lung cancer where the cells grow slowly but often spread to other parts of the body. * Colorectal Cancer (CRC): This is a disease where cells in the colon (a part of large intestine) or rectum grow out of control. * Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC): This is a cancer that starts in the ducts of the pancreas but can spread quickly to other parts of the body. Pancreas is a long, flat gland that lies in the abdomen behind the stomach. Pancreas creates enzymes that help with digestion. It also makes hormones that can help control your blood sugar levels. All participants in this study will take the study medication (PF-07985045) as pill by mouth. This will be repeated for 21-day or 28-day cycles. Depending on which part of the study participants are enrolled into they will receive the study medication (PF-07985045 alone or in combination with other anti-cancer medications). These anti-cancer medications will be given in the study clinic by intravenous (IV) that is directly injected into the veins at different times (depending on the treatment) during the 21-day or 28-day cycle. Participants can continue to take the study medication (PF-07985045) and the combination anti-cancer therapy until their cancer is no longer responding. The study will look at the experiences of people receiving the study medicines. This will help see if the study medicines are safe and effective. Participants will be in this study for up to 4 years. During this time, the participants will come into the clinic for 1 to 4 times in each 21-day or 28-day cycle. After the participants have stopped taking the study medication (at about at 2 years) they will be followed for another two years to see how they are doing
NCT05711446
Urinary tract infections (UTI) are common in kidney transplant recipients and are an important cause of illness and hospital admissions. Past studies have shown that about 1 out of 5 of newly transplanted patients develop UTI within their first 3 months of transplantation. Such UTIs increase the risk for blood stream infection and acute rejection of the kidney, Improvements in urinary voiding techniques may reduce the frequency of UTI. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the benefits of "double voiding" in kidney transplant recipients.
NCT05444283
The overall goals of this proposal are to determine the genetic architecture of recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) and to discover genomic predictors of RPL.
NCT03172754
This is a Phase I/II, open-label, multi-center study of axitinib in combination with nivolumab in patients with previously treated and untreated advanced RCC. This clinical study will be composed of a dose finding phase (Phase I) and two parallel dose expansion phases (Phase II). The dose finding phase will assess the safety of the combination and establish a recommended phase II dose (RP2D, the highest tested dose that is declared safe and tolerable by the Investigators and the Sponsor Investigator) in patients with advanced RCC who have received prior systemic therapy for metastatic disease. Phase II will evaluate the efficacy of the combination at the RP2D in two parallel expansion cohorts in both previously treated and treatment naïve patients.
NCT06161025
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of R-DXd therapy in participants with ovarian, peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.
NCT04123379
The purpose of this research study is to study the effect of giving nivolumab with CCR2/5-inhibitor or anti-IL-8 before surgery, and after surgery, with the goal of determining if this medicine results in: 1. A significant immune response against their tumor (which the study team will see in the tumor that is taken out at the time of surgery) 2. Improvement in long term survival rates
NCT06037837
The purpose of this study is to develop new tools to understand surgeon performance to improve surgical training and participant outcomes after surgery.
NCT07605091
This study will assess the impact of maternal moringa supplementation to mothers of breastfeeding infants on milk output, milk composition, exclusive breastfeeding duration, and maternal and child health. This will be accomplish by conducting a randomized, controlled dietary intervention study enrolling breastfeeding mothers and their newborn infants. Mothers will be randomized to receive either 10g dried moringa leaf powder in carrier vs. carrier alone, consumed daily for four months, with follow-up for 2 years. Women must be \>18 years of age, ≤ 30 days postpartum and exclusively breastfeeding at the time of enrollment. Infants must be at least 37 weeks of gestational age, be healthy and are able to feed orally and consume human milk. After randomization and enrollment, breast milk samples will be obtained at baseline, 2, 4, and 6 months. Serum from mothers will be collected at recruitment, 2, 6,and 9 months; infant serum will be collected by capillary sample at recruitment and approximately at 4, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months. Infant hemoglobin and infant feeding weights (test weights) will be collected on sequential days at recruitment, 4, and 6 months. 24-hour dietary recall: the foods and drinks consumed by mothers in the 24 hours prior to each milk sample. Other assessments will include perceptions of breastfeeding, assess complementary feeding practices. Review will be conducted of maternal and infant infections, diagnoses, and hospitalizations at the time of visit or since the last visit.
NCT06748053
This study is trying to find the right dose of a long-lasting medicine called GSK5784283 for people with asthma that remains uncontrolled even though they are using regular asthma treatments. GSK5784283 blocks the action of an inflammatory protein called TSLP that may be contributing to your asthma. The study will be conducted in two parts - Part A (dose finding phase) and Part B (extended dosing phase). Part A will assess the lung function, asthma control, participant safety and certain markers of asthma inflammation in the air you breath out and in your blood. Part B will assess the safety and long-term effects of the repeated or single doses of GSK5784283.
NCT06373731
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and pharmacokinetics of elamipretide in subjects with dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The main questions it aims to answer are: what is the rate of change in the macular area of photoreceptor loss in subjects who receive a daily dose of elamipretide compared with those who receive a look-alike substance that contains no active drug, and what is the safety and tolerability of elamipretide daily subcutaneous injections. Participants will receive either once daily subcutaneous doses of 40mg elamipretide or placebo and the two treatment groups will be compared.

NCT03811535
The study compares 2 medicines for children who do not have enough hormone to grow: somapacitan given once a week (a new medicine) and Norditropin® given once a day (the medicine doctors can already prescribe). Researchers will test to see how well somapacitan works. The study will also test if somapacitan is safe. Participants will either get somapacitan or Norditropin® - which treatment participants get, is decided by chance. Both participants and the study doctor will know which treatment participants get. The study will last for 4 years. Participants will attend 19 clinic visits and have 1 phone call with the study doctor.
NCT06897618
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a global public health concern. In the United States, adult Hispanic males are particularly vulnerable to type 2 diabetes mellitus and are more likely to develop complications and subsequently die from it, compared to non-Hispanic White males. Evidence suggests good self-management behaviors can potentially prevent disease-related complications and improve clinical outcomes. The American Diabetes Association and Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists have endorsed diabetes self-management education as a necessary component of care for all individuals living with the disease. However, adult Hispanic males with type 2 diabetes mellitus living in the Middle Atlantic Region of the U.S., especially those who are underserved, typically lack access to formal diabetes self-management education (DSME). Further, the majority have never participated in such educational activities. A large body of evidence suggests DSME can effectively improve self-management behaviors in diverse populations around the globe. The purpose of the proposed study is to examine the effect of culturally tailored diabetes education on self-management behaviors of adult Hispanic males, aged 18-64 years, with type 2 diabetes mellitus living in the Middle Atlantic Region of the U.S. This study can shed more light on the effectiveness of community-based, culturally tailored diabetes educational activities in this vulnerable population and guide future efforts towards enhancing self-management.
